春节时，会有一天有客人来家中做客。中午快吃饭的时候客人们就已经来到家中了，因为过年时我们隆尧人，在中午时都会邀请别人来家里吃隆尧特有的——羊汤，所以就会在自己家里举行一场美食盛宴。在摆上一些丰盛的菜肴，在端上一碗美味的羊汤，然后客人就会和主人们围坐在张大圆桌子上就餐。
