Too often we feel that few of our friends are true friends, without the traditional feeling of mutual affection which could only be created by longtime apart. But several decades ago, people treasured their friends and maintained relatively close interpersonal relations, which is much more enjoyable than the estrangements we are experiencing.

The last factor that has made our age so uncomfortable is the abusive use of technology. Although it brings much convenience, it essentially changes human – we are no longer the master of tools, but instead the slaves of devices. We rush to metro station in order to catch an early train, sit in front of radioactive computers all day long in order to get our work done, and stay in air-conditioned rooms all summer without experiencing the natural changes outside thick cement walls. Several decades ago, people could still live closer to nature and make rational use of modern technology, which to me is the essence of human living experience.

However, the comparison between different times is itself ridiculous. The criteria could not be easily determined, and opinions are highly personal. Anyway, we have a longer life span, more advanced medical facilities, and easier traffic than our grandparent when they were children, and we should treasure the present experience. 我等了许久，才到厨房里关电源，但是一掀盖我却呆了：米饭怎么变的似干饭又似稀饭啊！但我还是将米饭端到了餐桌上。我想：爸爸妈妈回来时看到我自己会煮饭了一定很欣慰，看见爸爸妈妈回来了，我兴高采烈地把饭盛好给爸爸妈妈，爸妈见了都惊呆了，“从没做过饭的女儿也会做饭了，看来我们得好好享用才是，”我却不好意思地说：“煮的不是很好，怕你们吃不下呢？”没想到爸妈吃着难吃的饭嘴上却一直夸着我还说：“没关系第一次做饭难免会失误嘛！以后慢慢就好了。”我听了后很高兴。

这几年，许多同学都在假期补课，而且从来没有补过，由于我喜欢玩，不喜欢学习。眼看着新的假期又要来了，我们班上的许多同学都在报名被课。有的同学喜欢补数学；有的同学喜欢补作文；大多数同学喜欢补英语，由于英语太难啦！对我来讲，英语好像从来没有及格过，看着同学们都积极学习的样子，我也有些心动了。

由于去年假期，同学们都在补课，没有人和我玩，我现在想还不如去和他们一起补课算了，那么选哪一门课呢？后来想了一想，我就决定补自己最差的英语了。那天，我报了名，英语老师说：“凤凤，你早就得补你的英语了，这次来一定要好好学，其实英语一点都不难！”听了英语老师的话，我的心里别提多兴奋了。

到了补课其间，我们每个人都准备了新的笔记本，将老师讲的每一个要点都记了下来。因为在这里补课的同学还有其他班上的同学，所以学习热情很高涨，我也不好意思玩了。别的同学做什么，我就做什么，反正自己也没有好的学英语方法，所以现在就是我最好的学习机会。

差不多一个月的时间，我的英语水平提高了许多，最后的测试分数不再是倒数第一，我终于进步了。当我拿着成绩让爸爸妈妈看进，他们一直夸我有进步，并要继续努力。当时，我的心里乐滋滋的，非常感谢假期补英语的生活。

五年级的一个冬天，我刚刚起床，看见玻璃被薄冰封住了，前几天刚下过雪，我擦擦玻璃往窗外看，看见路面都结了冰，光秃秃的树干在寒风中摇曳，好像不在寒风中低头，对面楼的房檐上挂着几根透明的冰凌，如水晶一般，又摇摇欲坠。

用过早餐后，由于路面太滑，所以我自己步行去上学，刚走出大门，一股寒气扑面而来，呼啸的西北风刮在脸上，刺骨地疼。我小心翼翼地走，我走到一个路口，这个路口非常滑。忽然，“啪嗒”一声，一个穿着厚重的羽绒服的小胖男孩，重重地摔了一个跤。她用手掌撑着地面，刚挺起身子，另一边又有一辆自行车摔得人仰马翻。

“这路面可真害人呀!”

人群里有人嘀咕着。“这样下去，准会伤人的!”一位包着头巾的老奶奶简直不敢走路了。那个小胖子也骂起了这可恨的路面。我也害怕摔跤，像过独木桥一样慢慢地挪动脚步。突然，一位老伯伯走过来，脱下了棉大衣，两只手放在嘴前呵了几口气，然后使劲搓了几下，热了下身，拿起一把大铁铲，使劲地铲起冰来，把铲下的冰倒进垃圾桶里。“老大爷，您累了，让我来帮您铲。”一位高个子叔叔一把夺过铲子，一下又一下地铲起来，铁桥发挥着它的威力，干净的路面在不断地扩展着，扩展着……

我大胆地迈开脚，一步一步的菜在干净的路面上，顿时觉得步伐矫健。这虽然是一个小镜头，但它却表现了那位老伯伯的高贵品质。

世界上有很多事物我们都不能改变，但我们却可以将自己的心情从忧扰烦闷转变为欣喜欢悦。

心中永怀乐观，脸上常挂笑容，任何时候都不丧气，任何时候都保持激昂。欣然面对每一天，只要生命还在，就不必悲哀。
