在这本书里，我最喜欢的人物是牛顿，他生在意大利，是一个近代科学历史上的经典的物理学的大师，他曾发现了力学三定律：惯性定律，落体定律，作用力和反作用力定律。为未来人们研究作出了很大的贡献。

此外他还创造了万有引力定律。

牛顿对光的分解研究，打开了近代光科学研究的大门。他发现，阳光可以分解成赤橙黄绿青蓝紫七色。对以后人们研究光时作出了很大的帮助。

这种废寝忘食的精神真了令我感到敬佩：有一次。给牛顿做饭的老太太有点事出去了，临走前叫牛顿煮鸡蛋吃。等到老太太回来后，问牛顿鸡蛋煮好了没有，牛顿边工作边说煮好了。等她掀开锅盖一看，被惊呆了。原来因为牛顿忙于计算，错把怀表当成鸡蛋放进锅里去煮了!
