Lantern owners write riddles on a piece of paper and post them on the lanterns. Tangyuan can be boiled, fried or steamed. It tastes sweet and delicious. What’s more, tangyuan in Chinese has a similar

pronunciation with "tuanyuan”, meaning reunion. So people eat them to denote union, harmony and happiness for the family.

In the daytime of the Festival, performances such as a dragon lantern dance, a lion dance, a land boat dance, a yangge dance, walking on stilts and beating drums while dancing will be staged. On the night, except for magnificent lanterns, fireworks form a

beautiful scene. Most families spare some fireworks from the Spring Festival and let them off in the Lantern Festival. Some local governments will even organize a fireworks party. 终于，功夫不负有心人。我以140多分的成绩向大家证明：我不是一个差生!于是，春哥(班主任)在团队课点名表扬了我，我有幸成为全班第二个被点名表扬的人。春哥说，我之所以能被表扬，是因为我在短短两个星期的学习中，由“最底层”到“最高层”完成了一个巨大的飞跃，一个看似不可能的升华。还说我背后付出了很多的辛劳和时间。我倒觉得他说的太夸张了，我是因为内心始终有着一个信念：我曾经不是一个差劲的学生，现在也应当不是!别人能做到的，我没理由做不到!

许多仍要接受“特殊教育”的同学纷纷问我：“你是凭着什么考到140分的?”我笑而不答，故作神秘。或许，您心中也有着这样类似的疑惑吧!其实真正的“秘诀”春哥已经说清楚了。刚开始的时候，我也曾疑惑过：我能够做到吗?这时，我想到了“望天树”它经历过多么残酷的挫折——被马鹿一脚踢下悬崖，被傲慢的野葵花嘲笑，生长的环境阴霾笼罩，磐石贬损。可它始终铭记着大地的话，瞄准太阳，笔直的冲上云霄……我想：望天树的环境比我更糟糕，它都能实现自己的理想，我有什么不可能的!

但是，只有想法是不够的，关键要看行动。十个想法不如一个行动!鲁滨逊——这个永不安命的行动者告诉了我这个道理。也有《蜀鄙二僧》(蜀之鄙有二僧，其一贫，其一富。贫者语于富者曰：我欲之南海，何如?富者曰：“子何恃而往?”曰：“吾一瓶一钵足矣。”富者曰：“吾数年来欲买舟而下，犹未能也，子何恃而往!”越明年，贫者自南海还，以告富者，富者有惭色。人之立志，顾不如蜀鄙之僧哉?)中的穷僧激励着我。于是，我每天都抓紧了每分每秒，把一天当两天用，课前认真预习，上课时认真听您的讲解，课后认真复习。当第二次合格后也没有满足，而是继续学习。期间，自然也少不了您的鼓励和帮助。

因此，我仅代表2班的全体同学，向您和您半期以来为我们所付出的辛劳道一声：“老师，您辛苦了，多谢您的教诲!”
