小猫在我心目中一直是最可爱的小动物，正好我家楼下就有一只这样的小猫，我非常喜欢它。

小猫有一张橄榄球似的脸，上面竖着两只尖尖的小耳朵，一个小巧玲珑的鼻子不大不小。小猫的眼睛白天眯成一条缝，可到了晚上就睁的又大又圆，还闪着幽绿色的光芒。

小猫喜欢上蹿下跳。它那条长长的尾巴为它保持了平横。小猫脚底下的肉垫让它走起路来悄无声息，为抓老鼠带来了不少方便。

上个星期老师带着我们去新华书店借书，我走进书店看着各式各样的书，有点不知所措。不知道该借什么书了，突然一本封面上有“一只老虎、一只豹子和一头大象”的书吸引了我。理所当然，我果断了借了这本名叫《动物世界》的书。

我高兴的把书带回家细细阅读，我每天看几页，总是有种想要一口气把它全部读完的感觉。这本书的内容和它的名字一样，不愧是动物世界，里面讲述了很多种动物。让我记忆最深刻的是里面描述狮子、豹子、大象、熊的过程。作者的描述让我觉得自己好像真的看到过这些动物似的。

我们一边走，导游就一边给我们介绍“世界动物之窗”的各个景点。首先，我们随着导游来到了综合馆，外形呈金字塔状的综合馆位于动物之窗的入口处。导游给我们介绍：“综合馆的设计汲取了中国传统元素，‘天圆地方’，外墙面还采用了古城墙砖纹的材质。”

我看到了好多动物的标本，有狮子、鳄鱼、羚羊、狒狒、犀牛、河马等。其中，我觉得身材最高的是一只长颈鹿标本;最小的则是一种鸡的标本;而体积最大的则是非洲象。

一天的“动物标本”之行，让我认识了好多以前没有见过的动物，增长了许多有关动物的知识，让我受益匪浅。
