一直想写一篇关于板栗树的文章。关于一棵生长于旧瓦房后面的板栗树。那是一个关于童年关于亲人的故事。

那时，童年的我和父母姐妹，还有爷爷奶奶，小凤表妹就住在这所旧瓦房里。瓦房分东西两厢。爷爷奶奶带着表妹住在西厢，我家则住东厢。瓦房后面就是记忆中的那棵板栗树。从记事起，板栗树就粗壮地生长在那里，根深叶茂，遮风挡雨。儿时的心中，板栗树就像一位不说话的勇士，无论春夏秋冬，抑或酷暑严寒，静静的守在瓦房后面，守护着瓦房中的我们。

我和姐妹们喜欢在板栗树下玩。或过家家，或捉迷藏，甚至搬来几张方凳，双膝跪在地上，做作业，画画。我们画一排排青砖瓦房，画板栗树后面不远处的座座青山，画眼里绿叶舒展，散发淡淡清香的板栗树。年龄稍大的三姐和四姐却乐意站在板栗树下用旧毛线学织手套、腰带，嘴巴里争论着学校或邻村的新鲜事儿。

最悠闲的莫过于爷爷，他躺在自制的竹椅上，叭嗒叭嗒地吸着旱烟，双眼微眯，似乎在倾听孙儿们的言论与嬉笑，又好像在漫不经心的想着自己一个古老的心事。山风吹过，板栗树叶发出沙沙的声音，也像在由衷地为我们助兴。

最高兴的时候还是秋天。

秋天是收获的季节。栗树上挂满了板栗球，圆鼓鼓的，浑身是又尖又细的刺。板栗球是青绿或淡青色的时候，包裹在壳内的板栗还没有成熟。当栗壳慢慢泛黄，板栗也就熟了。爬树摘板栗是不行的，被壳上那刺扎了，会又痒又痛。于是，我们又天天盼望多点阳光，多点儿风吹。阳光会晒得栗壳暴裂，露出粒粒暗红光洁的板栗。经风一吹，板栗就会掉下来，散落在草丛里，石缝间，我们的脚跟前。我们争着去捡跟前的板栗，也将从草丛里石缝间找到的板栗装进竹筒，铁罐中。风大的时候，只要一会儿工夫，我们就能装满自己的小罐子。

我常把板栗悄悄放进书包，带到学校分给同学们吃。妹妹则把捡来的板栗交给妈妈，风干后做板栗鸡。小凤表妹眼明手快，捡板栗最多，奶奶将它们全炒熟了吃。炒板栗吃起来粉粉的，很香很甜。

为了多捡板栗，我和妹妹常要拉上三姐、四姐一块帮着捡。一次，天才微微泛亮。爸爸叫醒我和妹妹说，昨晚好大的风，掉了不少板栗。我和妹妹便一骨碌从床上爬起来，扯起三姐、四姐，拿着电筒就往屋后冲。心想，这下好了，表妹还在做梦呢。可来到屋后，我和妹妹都傻眼了，板栗树下也亮着一盏灯，年迈的奶奶正陪着表妹捡板栗。两个姐姐忍俊不住的笑出了声。我和妹妹跟着笑了，表妹同奶奶也笑了起来。清晨的风里，轻轻洒下了我们祖孙几个欢快的笑声……

这些美好的光景直到我上中学的最后阶段。因为就在我中学毕业前夕，奶奶便永远离开了我们。奶奶的坟就在离板栗树不远的半山腰上。生前奶奶曾拄着拐杖，让表妹陪着去过那儿。奶奶说那里位置挺好，看得很远，还能看见自己住过的青砖瓦房，看见瓦房后面的板栗树，板栗树下的孩子们……

只是，自从奶奶走后，小凤表妹就随姑妈回家了。我和妹妹也先后去到远方的学校，到城里读书。从那以后我再也没见过表妹。只听说表妹早早地放弃了学业，在远方打工。我常常在吃板栗的时候会想起她，想起那些捡板栗的欢乐，那些板栗树下携手同歌舞的日子……

多年以后，身居闹市的我不知道没有了奶奶的爷爷是怎样走过他人生的最后岁月。不知道没有孩子们打闹、嬉笑的板栗树下，是否还能看见那把躺椅，躺椅上的爷爷美美地抽着他的旱烟，想着他的心事。板栗树也依如从前，静静的守侯在瓦房后面，守护着年迈、孤独的爷爷。

仅记得母亲的来信中曾经提及过。九十五岁高龄的爷爷在生前最后那段时间已经神志不清。常常独自一人站在板栗树下，或喃喃自语，或反复抚摸着板栗树粗大干裂的树身，浑浊的双眼迷茫的望着远方。我想，爷爷是在等待远方的孩子，等待归来的那声问候，那分快慰！

爷爷告别人世的时候，我和远嫁他乡的四姐都没能回去。只有三姐和长辈们送爷爷走完了人世的最后一程。因为母亲没有儿子，三姐以儿子的身份留在了家中，留在了板栗树下。

三姐无疑是勇敢的。

三姐是父母的依靠，是我们姐妹五个远行的慰藉。在远方的天空，在喧嚣的都市，我们沉于繁华，永远忙碌。甚至忘记了自己，淡忘了板栗树下的那片绿荫，还有回家的路途。三姐却默默候守在父母的身旁，在没有我们的日子里，支撑着信念中的家。

三姐曾几次让人给我捎来板栗，说是她和她的孩子一块儿捡的。又说，板栗树已经老了，不少树枝开始枯萎。看着三姐捎来的板栗，依然颗颗暗红光洁，只是颗粒已明显小了许多。心灵深处的那根琴弦，不觉中又被触动了起来。我似乎看见三姐和她的孩子在屋后的板栗树下，很认真地捡着板栗。板栗树也依如当年，静静的注视着三姐和她的孩子……只是，多了份岁月沉积的沧桑，多了份聚散无常的慨叹。

我于是想着哪一天带自己三岁的女儿回趟老家。看看年迈的双亲，看看屋后的板栗树。希望在一个有风有阳光的午后，带着女儿同三姐还有三姐的孩子在板栗树下捡板栗。

我是想寻找些什么。我也想让女儿感受一种城里没有的快乐。在我看来，这不是一个梦。

然而我错了，那的确是一个残缺的梦。

因为三姐也走了，永远地走了，远了。

三姐是难产，死在妹妹医院的抢救室里。我赶到家的时候，已是暮色苍苍。没有了三姐的身影，再也不能看见三姐像往昔一样等候在路口，迎接我的归来，为我卸下沉重的行囊。我只看见苍茫夜色中，板栗树下亮着一盏灯。三姐的灵柩就摆放在板栗树下。那孤灯，那灵柩，那凄凉，刺痛了我的眼，撕裂了我的心。可我欲哭无泪，恍惚中似乎又看见我和妹妹，还有三姐、四姐，奶奶和小凤表妹，提着灯在板栗树下捡着一颗一颗的板栗……

My Family

My name is Li Hua. I am from a workers family. There are six people in my

family. They are my grandfather, my grandmother, my father, my mother, my sister

and I.

Every member in my family works for his or her own trade①. My grandfather

and grandmother are peasants. They do farm work every day in my hometown. My

father is a senior engineer. He is now working in Africa, helping to build a

power station. My mother is a teacher. She teaches English in a middle school.

My sister, five years older than I, is a doctor in the Peoples Hospital of our

county. She loves her work and does it well. I am a middle school student. And I

am going to take this years college entrance examination. I wish that I could

be enrolled② by a famous university.

That is my family. All the members in my family live in harmony③. We love

each other devotedly.

When I was alittle child, I had many dreams. I wanted to be rich, so that I can live in abig and beautiful house. I can go everywhere by car. But now, my dream seems tobe better and more realistic. I hope I can have a good job. It will not takemuch of my time, although I can’t earn much. Every year, I have holidays totravel. Traveling is my favorite and it can reduce my pressure. It’s good formy life. Therefore, I hope traveling can be a part of my future life.

In my opinion, the movie “ the pursuit of happyness “ is a meaningful film,

the hero of the movie is an active man. Though his life was very hard, his wife

left because of the situation of their family.His work was also unfortunate. He

never gave up and still work hard.Then he took care of his little son. He is

going after happiness all the time, so his life is running . Time is very

importmant to him, he must finish his task on time , or he wouldnt live a

steady life , he has to pay the rent and taxes and so on, but he insist on

taking every chance to make his life live better and he believe in himself.

Finally, he succeed , his part of life in the movie is moving and real.

I also like the song in the movie very much, it says “ the mountains have

The Origin of Halloween

While there are many versions of the origins and old customs of Halloween, some remain consistent by all accounts. Different cultures view Holloween somewhat differently but traditional Halloween practices remain the same.

Halloween culture can be traced back to the Druids, a Celtic culture in Ireland, Britain and Northern Europe. Roots lay in the feast of Samhain, which was annually on October 31st to honor the dead.

Samhain signifies "summers end" or November. Samhain was a harvest festival with huge sacred bonfires, marking the end of the Celtic year and beginning of a new one. Many of the practices involved in this celebration were fed on superstition.

The Celts believed the souls of the dead roamed the streets and villages at night. Since not all spirits were thought to be friendly, gifts and treats were left out to pacify the evil and ensure next years crops would be plentiful. This custom evolved into trick-or-treating.

When I was in high school, I felt so bored about the English class, because I did not understand it. Miss Li was my English teacher, she found my attitude to her class. Love in high school is a very sensitive topic, the students in high school have come to the age of being mature, inside, they desire to love someone, but it is the awkward time. 我的行动开始了。我将一支红色的水彩笔当做口红，在嘴上涂了起来。我在嘴上涂了厚厚的一层，站在镜子前一看，嘴巴怎么变成“血盆大口”了呢?我认为一点儿都不美观，于是拿起粉色水粉笔开始“改造”嘴巴的造型。我吸取了前一次的教训，涂得淡淡的、小心翼翼的。这次“改造”并不成功，嘴被我涂得越来越糟。我可不耐烦了，把所有水彩笔通通涂在嘴唇上。结果“血盆大口”变成了魔鬼的“黑嘴巴”。唉!

我并没有因嘴巴涂“口红”涂得不成功而丧失信心。看看我的指甲，灰不溜秋的，没有鲜艳的颜色。我可以将水彩笔当成指甲油啊!我想我用红色涂在大拇指甲上;我用粉色涂在食指指甲上;我用紫色涂在中指指甲上……就这样依次涂下去。嗯，我的指甲终于变漂亮了!

Currently,my school is launching an activity whose theme is that actions change the world to advocate the low carbon living.

In the activity,we are required to go to school or some other place by bike or by foot as much as possible instead of by bus.And when the Christmas comes,sending e-greeting cards instead of tridional cards of which are made of wood as we know.Besides,we should use both sides of every piece of paper and we should save water as well as electricity.

I believe that only we do thus can we have a better living environment.

There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years. One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air, water and soil. the polluted air does great harm to people’s health. The polluted water causes diseases and death. To protect the environment, governments of many countries have done a lot.
