I used to receive gifts like a basketball, a swatch or a CD. But the gift

I’m looking forward to is a bicycle though I can’t ride it now. How I want to

learn it well so that I can ride anywhere I want to go! Every morning, it is my

father who always drives me to school in all kinds of weather. Especially in the

past few days, he has worked hard until midnight. If I ride my own bicycle to

school, he will be able to sleep a little longer and work a bit harder. I hope

夜深了，躺在柔软的床上，我辗转反侧，思绪万千。唉!多少天废寝忘食地啃书本，多少天夜以继日地做习题。多少天辛勤地耕种，却换来了今天的颗粒无收??“英才杯”综合竞赛我又名落孙山。我委屈，我不甘，这类事已不止一次地降临在我身上了。为什么我如此勤奋，却总是与竞赛奖牌无缘呢?

轻轻地推开门，一轮明月便映入我的眼帘。经历了半个月的“磨练”，此时的月亮显得更加圆满明亮。我叹了口气，我的“圆月”何时才能孕育而出呢?夜很静，轻柔的月光洒落在地面上，似乎都能听见声音。蓦地，我发现不远处有一团黄色，那不是月光的暗黄，也不是灯光的橘黄，而是一团显眼的金黄。走近细看，顿时，兴奋、诧异、激动充满了我的全身。种了三年貌似枯萎，一直都没有开花的仙人掌，并且我认为将永远不会开花的仙人掌，在今天居然绽放了一朵鲜艳的金黄色的小花。

初开的小花静静地躺在柔和的月光中，金黄色的花瓣柔嫩得像婴儿的皮肤。花瓣包围着的，还有一根根细而长的花蕊，也是金黄色的，精神抖擞地站立着。花朵被仙人掌托得很高，在月光下就像是一颗天上下凡的星星，一颗最耀眼的星星。

不知道为什么，心中突然产生了一种愧疚。我曾经对这株仙人掌是多么地失望，差点想把它扔掉。三年来，仙人掌忍受了我对它冷漠的眼神，也许还忍受了蜂蝶对它不开花的嘲讽，默默地，默默地在风雨中，在阳光里，积蓄着力量，终于在今天一齐迸发，孕育出如此艳丽的花朵。

刹那间，我似乎从这朵小花上汲取了无穷的真理。也许我就像这株仙人掌，我的花期甚至更晚。需要经过长时间的磨练，积蓄力量，来等待开花的那一天。想到这里，我的心开始变得和花朵的金黄色一样明亮。

Today, I go to school with a headache. At the beginning, it is just a
