我知道自己闯了祸，像一个犯了错的罪人一样顿时立在自己的座位旁边不敢出声。还好老师给我面子，没当着全班同学的面数落我，让我和同桌跟着他去办公室谈，他让我写份检讨拿给他，可当我第二他拿给他检讨的时候他看也没看一眼，告诉我说下不为例，果真是宰相肚里能撑船，多么随和的一个人，他大人不记，我这个小人自然就好过了。

Sports do us good in many respects. It goes without saying that taking

exercises can build up our physical strength. In collective sports like

basketball, volleyball, or football, we will learn the importance of

cooperation. While taking part in sports game, we will try our best to win and

arouse ourselves the competitive spirit. Sports can also help us relax after a

period of exhausting work. However, as the saying goes, there are two sides to

everything, and sports is without exception. We may hurt other players or

ourselves if we are not careful enough when participating in sports activities.

Whats more, excessive or severe training can do harm to our health.

Most Chinese students have difficulties in learning English. The difficulties vary so much from person to person that it is difficult to cite here in a few words. Some may have problems in reading. Others may have trouble in writing. I also had problems in English learning, but my difficulty seemed to lie in listening. For example, when tested for listening comprehension, I couldnt understand a single sentence, let alone a passage of medium level.

In order to overcome the difficulty in my English learning, I made great efforts to find the key to the problem. I consulted my teacher and found out that I merely didnt have enough time to practice listening. So I bought a tape recorder and listened to it at least two hours a day. After half a years hard work, I could get 70% of the questions correct in listening comprehension tests.
