对于这种只在书上见过的礼仪我总是好奇的。桌上青烟袅袅，我随大人们一起叩拜。小时候，只是跟着学样子，慢慢长大了，才明白那也是一种思念，对逝去亲人的思念及祝福。终于等到开饭的时间了，我狼吞虎咽地吃着，大人们则在一旁寒暄着。年夜饭的菜是我的最爱了。总是有平时吃不到的美味，鲜香的味道在舌尖舞动着，才下舌尖，又上心头。

许是和伙伴一起放烟火的欢乐吧!鲜美的年夜饭结束后，就是娱乐时间。大人们可嗑瓜子聊着家常，孩子们则忙着放烟花去了。各色各样的烟花在孩子们的手里绽放大大的笑脸。我小时候最喜欢一种“狗尾巴”的烟火。我拆开一大把“狗尾巴”，一根根的点。左右手各拿几根，徒手在空中画圈圈。白色的浓烟在空气里一圈圈的晃着，偶尔我也会被呛着。玩好这个，就奔出院子和其他人一起放烟火。一群人穿着新衣服，捂着耳朵，看着烟花一朵朵在空中放开，亮丽的颜色照亮了整个大地，新年的祝福传及家家户户。

许是守岁时昏昏欲睡的感觉吧!玩累了，各自回家，还不能立刻就睡。一家人其乐融融的在电视机前边看春晚边守岁。我们时而开怀大笑，时而感慨万千。就在所有人都兴奋的等待这时，我却无比思念我软软的床。不知不觉中，我已进入梦乡。新年的钟声敲响了，鞭炮、烟花一齐响起。每个人脸上洋溢着喜悦。儿时的我只是觉得终于解脱，可以好好睡一觉了。慢慢长大，才明白，守岁时一种传统，带着美好的寓意。于是我抵住困意，等待新年的钟声。

Im Alina Li and Im Ben Hedges, and today well be taking you through some of the most important traditions of Chinese new year and historical background. We will look at some of the legends behind Chinese new year and how to celebrate it. Here in the US and Chinese across the world.

The Chinese have specific way to celebrate their new year. If you walk down the street in Chinatown during Chinese New Year, you see a variety of ancient traditions such as red banners, firecrackers and lion dance performances, streets are filled with lively celebration.

However, legend has said that the new year has not always been a time of festivity. An Asian Chinese story told a chilly start to this festive holiday, it begins with an ancient Chinese beast called Nian.

Every New Year Nian would rise from swelling in the sea to ravage Chinese village in livestock and hurting people. The villages soon found out from a wise gray-haired old man that the only way to scare the beast away was to set off firecrackers and light lamps and to hang red banners on each door. As the story goes, this was the beginning of a tradition that would last thousands of years.

So this story leads to the creation of many of other traditions for celebrating Chinese New Year. lets take a look at some of these traditions.

虽然现在还没有过春节，但我已经从热闹的鞭炮声中感觉到这春节的气氛了，并回想起了以往的快乐春节。

春节到了，家家户户都放起了鞭炮、礼花。整个中国沉浸在鞭炮、礼花声当中。孩子们高兴地又唱又跳，高兴地庆祝春节。最快乐的是去别人家做客，在那有数不清的美味佳肴，任我吃个够。每次做客，我都可以大饱口福。吃饱了饭，我还可以和其它小朋友一起做游戏，我们又跑又跳，即使玩得再狂，大人们也不会来骂我们，而且回家的时侯，还能收到一个红包，红包里是什么？当然是压岁钱喽！为了保险，爸爸帮我把钱存入了银行。

当然了，过年时，家里的整洁也是必不可少的，只见我左手拿抹布，右手拿扫帚，脚上还吊了一个土盘，真是全副武装，虽然打扫的效率不怎么样，不过气势可不小。

只见太阳缓缓从地平线上落下，大家家的春节就正式开始了。所有人围在餐桌前，吃着准备好的年货，喝着买好的饮料，一家人有说有笑，大家的心都被点燃了。吃过年夜饭，大家便坐在一起，观看春晚，里面的节目新颖有趣：有美丽动人的舞蹈，有美妙动听的音乐；有惊险刺激的杂技；更有奇幻精彩的魔术，真是欢乐不断啊！

过了午夜12点，大家便会放烟花来祝福马年的到来，一束束绚丽的烟花在空中炸开，像是在描绘着生动的图画，又像是在演绎精彩的舞蹈；烟火的美丽色彩在空中炸开，天空仿佛都被点亮了，真是太美丽了！

快过年了，人们开始变得疯狂起来。

你看，同学们放假回到家，要么是拼了命地写寒假作业，刷刷刷，一晌就写一、二十页，要么就是把学习的事抛在脑后，眼睛直勾勾地盯着电视，或者手按着键盘玩电脑，一刻也停不下来，几乎达到废寝忘食的地步。

不过，最疯狂的还要数妈妈们了。一到过年，我的妈妈就摇身一变，成了“两耳不闻窗外事，一心只为买东西”的“榨钞机”。你看，一吃过饭，妈妈就开始骑着电动车去采购了。什么鸡鸭鱼啊、瓜果糖啊、爷爷奶奶的衣服啊、盆花啊……妈妈好像是要把街上的东西都搬回家似的，几乎天天都在马不停蹄地买、买、买。把东西买回来后，为了不麻烦我们，自己再大包小包地拎到我们三楼。一到家，妈妈就坐在沙发上直喘气。

这还不消停，年前，网上的东西大打折扣，妈妈这个“榨钞机”又开始“显灵”了，一口气在网上买了五件衣服，惊得我差点把眼珠给瞪出来。买回来后，妈妈又开始一件一件疯狂地试衣服，害得我只好一只眼看电视，一只眼看妈妈的衣服好不好看。

最疯狂的地点当然是超市。走进超市，真是人山人海。比肩接踵的人们争抢着买东西，恨不得把想要的东西都买回家。过年真好，超市的生意真红火。

车站的生意也很红火。回家过年是人们的心愿。在车站等车的人都归心似箭。他们有的扛着行李，有的拎着行李，有的背着行李。能买到卧铺票的买卧铺票，有坐票的买坐票，连坐票都买不到的，就是站票也要站回老家去。

初一的第一节英语课，门口进来一位中等个子，长头发的女青年。上下一打量，20岁左右，个头小于等于1米6。这大概就是我们的英语老师吧!此人发话了：“丑话说在前面，我脾气不好!”一句话着实把我们全班都镇住了。第一印象：凶!

可是时间久了却发现，实际上并不是她自己说的那样，也不是我们以为的那样。

她教英语，时不时地用上几句“现代用语”。虽然平常我们也经常说，但是从一个老师嘴里说出来，难免会有些稀奇，距离感一下子就消失了，亲切感一下子就增进了!比如她反复要强调的东西，她会说：“都强调了10遍了”，这还没什么，到后来演变成100遍、N遍;最后递进到N+1遍。她给我们的第一印象便彻底被抹杀掉了。

上晚自习的时候，她会给我们自由，写作业、看书都行，不像数学老师一进来就讲题，语文老师抱着书就要听写。她每次都会读一些连语文老师都不会读的哲理的、感人的文章，有时还会读笑话，即使是不好笑的，她自己也会乐成一团。

有一次英语晚自习，打了铃之后班里仍是像炸了锅一样热闹，吵架的、打架的、嬉笑的、K歌的，应有尽有，无所不有。我正奇怪英语老师为什么还没来，此人就出现在教室门口了。班里顿时鸦雀无声。一同来的，还有班主任。班主任留下了“站一晚上”的“圣旨”后扬长而去。我们在下面悔得肠子都青了，同时也深感不服。这就是自讨苦吃吧，我想。
