中秋节来了，姥姥一大早就起来了，说是要摘石榴。

我跑到院子里，看见石榴在树上摇晃着脑袋，咧着嘴儿傻傻地笑着，好像在说：“我已经熟了，快把我摘下来吧。”我经不起这火红的石榴的诱惑，于是急急忙忙跑过去，使出全身的力气，摘了一个又大又红还裂开了的石榴。

圆圆的石榴像个火红的垒球，十分耀眼。石榴的外皮最漂亮了，光滑、洁净，不用洗都是光溜溜的，红红的像调皮孩子的小脸似的，又像穿着红色蓬蓬裙的可爱小姑娘在跳舞。这不由得让我想起了杜牧的“似火石榴映小山，繁中能薄艳中闲”的佳句。石榴的顶端开着可爱的小花儿，花儿有七瓣，中间有星星点点的花蕊，堆在石榴皮顶端的花朵里，像小蝴蝶在石榴嘴里翩翩起舞。

剥开石榴美丽的外衣，真是“日射血珠将滴地，风翻火焰欲烧人。”石榴籽真是美丽极了。石榴籽密密麻麻地挤在一起，红红的，像珍珠玛瑙一样晶莹透亮，放到嘴里轻轻一咬，一股沁人心脾的甜甜的汁液瞬间在口中化开，余味无穷。石榴的房子是以黄色为主装修而成的。石榴隔墙是由黄色的小薄衣隔开的，把石榴籽一间一间地分在小房子里，很整齐也很有规律，这让我不由得感叹大自然的神奇。

看着这漂亮、丰满的大红石榴，我想，今晚的月亮应该和这石榴一样又圆又大!

The Mid-Autumn is a very important Chinese festival. It falls on the 15th

day of August. A few days before the festival, everyone in the family will help

to make the house clean and beautiful. Lanterns will be hung in front of the

house.

On the evening there will be a big family dinner. People who work far away

from their homes will try to come back for the union. After dinner, people will

light the lanterns which are usually red and round. Children will play with

their own toy lanterns happily.

At night the moon is usually round and bright. People can enjoy the moon

while eating moon-cakes which are the special food for this festival. They can

look back on the past and look forward to the future together. It is said that

there was a dragon in the sky. The dragon wanted to swallow up the moon. To

protect the frighten the dragon away.
