海龟产卵的时候不像其它动物妈妈一样产完卵就不管了，而是用沙子将卵藏好，以防其他动物偷吃，真是一位贴心的妈妈。它们的窝更是奇特，别的动物的窝都是用沙土堆起来或是在陆地上打一个洞，而海龟则是在海底打一个洞住进去。小海龟出生一个月后，海龟妈妈就不会再管自己的宝宝了，而是让它们自己生活下去，让它们学会自己成长。
