I was born in 1968, and I went to school from 1973 to 1988. In 1987 I took the General Certificate of Education, and I got good grades in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. After leaving school, I attended the Orient Technical College, where I first studied Fiber Technology and Color Chemistry; later I studied other subjects related to textile manufacture, and in 1991 I obtained the Diploma in Textiles.

After completing my studies, I joined the Top Clothing Company where I worked until 1996. In that year I moved to Prior Productions, who was pleased with my work, and as a result, in 1998, I was promoted to Assistant Works Manager there.

I enjoy my work, and I am prepared to work hard. Moreover, I am sure that Prior Productions would give me an excellent reference. I therefore feel that my application deserves your serious consideration.

Sunday ,grandma and grandpa are my house. Everybody is working.

Mum ,grandma and I are downstairs in the kitchen. Mum is washing up.

Grandma is cooking,and I is ironing ,brother is upstairs. He is tidying his

room.

In the garden uncle is sweeping the path, aunt is helping him sweep.

Grandpa and dad are mending the fence. Dad is digging, sister is washing her

dog.

My Sunday is very busy.

Christmas Day is on December 25th. It was originated in the western

country, but today, this festival has been celebrated by the world. For the

manufacturers, they are very happy to make this day as a shopping day. I enjoy

the great atmosphere.

I had a very special Christmas day last year. I experienced the western

style festival. There was a new foreign teacher taught us the lesson. She was

about 50 years old and she was very kind and we all liked her. On Christmas Day,

she brought us the desserts she made early in the morning. We enjoyed the

home-made cakes. Whats more, she invited us to came to her house and spent the

day with her. Then for the first time, I ate big turkey, which was so delicious.

The turkey was filled with many stuffs and the flavor was so good. After dinner,

we sang songs and danced.

Thanks to my foreign teacher, I experienced the American style festival. It

was such funny for me. Though today many people enjoy shopping in all kinds of

festivals, the meaning of these festival should be remembered.

In our common home - the earth, life with a lot of animal, which animal do

you like? Anyway, my favorite animal is our most loyal friend - a dog.My

在春节时，妈妈从她公司抱了一只小狗回来，小狗的眼睛圆溜溜的，非常可爱，眼睛下面一个乌黑的鼻子翘得高高的，妈妈对我说：“我们来给小狗洗个澡吧！”我拿了一根红色的绳子把小狗栓了起来，系在卫生间里。妈妈找了个大盆子，打开热水，把小狗放了进去。一开始，小狗动不动就跳出盆子，后来好像是感到很舒服就不动了。妈妈拿来了沐浴露抹在了小狗身上，妈妈用手揉啊揉，小狗好像很痒，就继续往外跑，只听“呼！”地一声，直见妈妈换了一盆水，浇到了小狗身上，终于洗完了！

妈妈把小狗抱到了地上，拿着吹风机给小狗吹风，吹完后，小狗变得干干净净，浑身的绒毛也干干的，还有一股香气，摸起来可舒服了!它在地上走来走去，我看着电视，几十分钟后，爸爸妈妈把饭做好了，是我最爱的炒饭，我三口两口的吃完了，然后又倒了一些给小狗吃，小狗吃得可香了！这就是我觉得春节里最有趣的事！

中国有许多传统佳节，我最喜欢除夕和春节这两个传统节日。

春节的前几天，我和妈妈乘着爸爸的车子来到了醴陵老家。除夕和春节这两个节日是连在一起的，不过我更喜欢春节。这一天我早早地起了床，今天家里来了许多客人，中午的时候这些客人给了我不少压岁钱，我就依依向他们拜年表示感谢。到了晚上，我们一家人在一起吃了团圆饭，爷爷要我和阳哥哥组织一场家庭晚会,我先用春节联欢晚会的开场白介绍我们表演的节目。节目中我用琵琶弹奏了三个节目，阳哥哥用小提琴也演奏三个节目，最后一个节目是我和阳哥哥合奏《采蘑菇的小姑娘》，表演的时候，阳哥哥拉完了我马上弹起了下部分，

不让他们觉得是两首曲子，弹的过程中我都已经陶醉在这首曲子中，弹完整首曲子后台下立刻响起雷鸣般的掌声，我看见大人们的眼神中包含着赞叹，包含着期望，表演完之后爷爷他们都给了我们压岁钱作为奖励，我们俩又一起去老家门口放烟花和冲天炮，我们用打火机点燃烟花和冲天炮的引线，刹那间烟花炮竹开始燃放，时而像火箭一样“嗖”的一下冲上了天，时而像开放的花朵在对我们微笑，时而像小草在对我们摇摆着头。我们两个手里都拿着几根烟花，一边用手画圈，一边跑，玩得不亦乐乎!

那天我们既收了压岁钱，又玩了烟花和冲天炮，你们说这一天是不是愉快的春节呀!

一年一度的春节又来到了，每个人都沉浸在一个欢乐的节日气氛之中。

除夕晚上，我和小伙伴的手早就开始痒痒了，迫不及待的想去买些小鞭炮来玩。放着放着，我们又开始嘀咕了：“这么点鞭炮放怎么能够玩个痛快呢?”于是我急匆匆的跑回家，正准备偷偷拿一些的时候，被爷爷发现了，我还以为爷爷会批评我，没想到他竟然给了我很多很多的小鞭炮。我们先拿几个小鞭炮出来，小鞭炮五颜六色的，很漂亮。形状像一个个小包子似的。往地扔上去会“啪啪”响，好几个合在一起，往地上用力一扔就会发出很大的“轰”声。

每次过春节，我最期待的都是吃年夜饭。“开饭了!”的声音刚从烟味十足的厨房里传出，立即点燃了我的胃口。我飞快的坐在餐桌边，拿起筷子，往招牌菜“鸡炖汤”里一伸，立马就夹到了一个小鸡腿，拿起来就吃，突然我大叫一声：“啊，怎么这么烫!”其他人都哄然大笑。

晚饭过后全家都目不转睛的看着春节晚会，我就像热锅上的蚂蚁，一会儿而看电视;一会儿而又跑到窗户旁窥视外面的动静;一会儿紧紧的看着桌子上的大闹钟，生怕午夜“12”点悄然的过去，心声随着钟声“滴答、滴答”……时间一分一秒的过去，终于，盼到了迎接新年的钟声。外面都放起了烟花，整个村子顿时热闹起来。这里刚放完烟花，另一边的鞭炮又响起来，这边的鞭炮下去了，那边连续好多的烟花又放起来。无数的烟花像离弦之箭一样飞上天空，转眼间变成无数只小蝌蚪落下天空。一直持续了好久，天空才平静了下来。

村子里慢慢的静下来了，但我的心情却久久不能平静。春节一个快乐的日子，我真希望每天的生活都这样丰富精彩。我太喜欢春节了。

Last week, I visited the geological museum with my best friend, Liu Bing.

It was my first time to go there. The moment we arrived there, we found that the

中华民族是龙的传人，因此春节舞龙是必不可少的节目。有一年的大年初一，我和父母一起去逛街，这时，一阵锣鼓喧天的热闹声把我深深地吸引住了。我拉着父母闻声来到了一条小巷子里，定睛一看，原来是一群舞龙的小伙子呀!我立刻来了兴趣，因为这舞龙只是在电视里见过，平日里根本没有。

不一会儿，原本冷清的巷子里聚满了人。舞龙开始了，只见十几个人举起巨龙便舞了起来，金龙时而腾空，时而下地，时而摇头，时而摆尾，一条威武的龙被小伙子们舞的在天空中自由的穿梭，好不气派!引得在场的观众都拍手叫绝，这舞龙真不愧为中华民族的瑰宝啊!

正当在场的人都赞不绝口的时候，爸爸面带微笑的问：“你知道在春节时舞龙代表了什么意思吗?”我摇了摇头。爸爸继续讲：“春节舞龙象征着幸福安康，有好运气呢!”我立刻来了精神：“那说不定来年我会考一个好成绩呢!”爸妈一听立刻大笑起来，一家子其乐融融。春节期间不但有许多民间艺术表演，而且还有许多其他民俗呢。放鞭炮和吃饺子就是春节的重要民俗。“爆竹声中一岁除，春风送暖入屠苏”，每到除夕，家家户户都会放鞭炮来庆祝这喜庆的日子，象征着辞旧迎新。

伴随着此起彼伏的鞭炮声饺子就要出锅了。“开饭了——”随着妈妈的唤声，我也端起了饺子，一阵香气扑鼻而来，我恨不得一口全部吃光。“咯嘣”一声我咬住了一个硬硬的东西，我心中一阵欢喜大喊道：“我吃着钱了!”父母一听，连忙来祝贺我：“太好了，在春节的饺子中包上硬币，谁吃着谁就会在来年有好运气呢!”我一听，一下子乐开了花，原来春节期间在饺子中包上硬币也是民俗文化的重要组成部分啊!中华民族有许多的节日，每一个节日都蕴含了丰富的民族文化，春节只是其中的一小部分，我爱我的祖国!我爱我的节日!

百花之中，有柔情似水的桃花，楚楚动人的百合，美丽娇艳的玫瑰它们都是春开秋落，而唯独梅花却在严寒的冬天，孤傲挺立在白雪皑皑的场景中。

说起花，人们总能想到他们非常鲜嫩，柔弱，经不起严寒酷暑的考验、风吹雨打的洗礼、秋天的磨练。那样弱不禁风，让人怜悯。而独一无二的梅花却恰恰是经受这些磨难的常客，他不与万花争风吃醋，不因没有彩蝶缠绕而失落，亦不为没有蜜蜂追随而沮丧，更不似那癫狂柳絮随风舞，也不学那轻薄桃花逐水流。

独自在万花凋谢后的冬天承受着恶劣环境带给他的压力，但他丝毫没有畏惧，选择迎难而上而不是畏缩不前，在困难的打压下，他并没有萎靡不振，而是靠着自己坚强般的意志和旺盛的生命力向上攀爬。所以它生长的越来越美丽动人，默默地为枯燥无味的冬天增添一道美丽的风景。

诗人曾说过：宝剑锋从磨砺出，梅花香自苦寒来，只有像梅花在寒风刺骨的冬天克服种.种困难险阻才能有日后妩媚脱俗的外表和淡泊名利的高贵品质。

我爱梅花，爱她的凌寒独放，爱她的默默无闻，更爱她的铁骨铮铮她迎难而上，不畏严寒，坚韧不拔的精神深深地触动着激励着每一个人，每当我看到梅花清新淡雅的外表时都能想到她的坚强和一颗强大的内心。

作为90后的我们，不正需要这种可贵的品质和宝贵的经历么?在家长眼中我们是掌上明珠，娇宠溺爱使我们承受不了挫折带来的痛苦，更经受不住奋斗时付出的代价，所以在日后我们要摘下软弱的帽子，学习梅花的一切。我相信这样的我们才是所有人所希望看到的。

今年的春节我的家里发生了很多有趣的事情。

春节晚会之前，我们干什么的都有。有的贴对联，有的打扑克，有的包饺子，我们哥几个在外面放鞭炮。我们把点完的炮筝扔到井里，过了一会儿，只听“砰”的一声，井里传出了沉闷的响声。我笑着说：“这屁声可真响亮，还有点臭味儿。”其他人哈哈大笑起来。打扑克的时候打到J，又被勾回去了，弄得他们哭笑不得。然后贴对联，对联可是我自己写的哦，写的也不算那么太好。我还去跟着包饺子，我包的一点儿也不好。有的站都站不住，有的包露馅儿，好不容易包好了一个还掉到了地上，弄得我措手不及。

春节晚会开始了，我们一大家子人围坐在电视机旁有说有笑，我们小孩儿又打又闹。到了十二点我们开始吃饺子，我小弟吃着一角钱，我爸吃着了一角钱，而我吃了十多个一个没捞着，唉。

今年的春节过得可真是太快乐了。

又到了一年一度的除夕，在除夕中我最喜欢参与的就是包饺子。

一大早，我们就开始准备。我们先把面粉倒在盆里面，再往里面放一定量的水，是一点一点的往里面加，慢慢地面和水融合到一起，再用力地揉，它就会变成一个面团，这是我们把它盖上盖子，放到

一边醒着。

接下来我和妈妈准备和馅。今天我们准备的是萝卜和肉的，妈妈先把葱、姜剁成沫沫放到肉馅上。然后把萝卜擦成丝，也剁得碎碎的，放到馅里，这时妈妈就像一个画家不停地往里面加料，有酱油、

盐、花椒粉、鸡蛋清、还有食用油。接下来就是我的工作了，我不停地把它们搅拌均匀，而且是顺时针呦!拌匀后，我闻了闻。噢，真香呀!到了下午，我们就开始包饺子了。先把面揉一揉，然后切成一

条一条的，再搓圆，切成一个一个的小面团，再用擀面杖把它们擀成一片片的，包饺子的工作正式开始了。

我们家人每个人包出来的都不一样，千奇百怪，不过这样也更有意义。

到了晚上，团圆饭上，一家人吃着自己包的饺子，说说笑笑中，过的十分享受!

人们杀猪宰羊，忙碌地准备着春节大吃大喝一番。

春节到了，小朋友们便早早起床，来到爸爸妈妈的房间，开始了传统的拜年仪式了。小朋友们对父母说着一些吉祥话儿，爸妈就拿出压岁钱，让小孩子们高高兴兴。大家都希望今年能够吉祥如意，招财进宝。

一些亲朋好友欢聚一堂，品尝着美酒佳肴，谈着一些开心的话儿。而兴的则是我们，可以大把大把地攒取压岁钱，然后就欢天喜地跑到街上去买很多好玩的东西，如小汽车、四驱车、玩具枪、足球等……

饭后，在长辈们带领下，自由活动开始，我们玩耍的主题——放烟花、放鞭炮。五颜六色的烟花冲向天空尽情开放，好看极了，那一串串红丹丹的鞭炮，我既高兴又害怕，那震耳欲聋的爆炸声，使平常胆小的我捂紧了耳朵，闭上了眼睛。看到周围小伙伴们玩得兴高采烈的，我暗暗鼓励自己，今年又长大了一岁，怎么能被这小小的鞭炮吓倒了?我也加入到放鞭炮的人群。鞭炮声一声高过一声，伴着我们的欢笑声，旷野变成了一片欢乐的海洋。在鞭炮声中，我觉得自信了、勇敢了。

这就是过年，一个永远充满欢乐和激情的日子。

Our college is an ordinary institution of higher learning.

on our campus,there are no skyscrapers,no graceful and imposing

buildings,and no strange houses.All the buildings are common,but they stand in

special relationship to each other,making a nice learning atmosphere for us.The

newest and perhaps largest building is the library.It stands in the middle of

our campus.It is seven storeys high.With its bright,spacious reading rooms and

all kinds of books,newspapers and magazines,it is the place where students like

to go.The next largest building is the Chemistry Department.The rooms in it are

filled with various apparatus.The buildings that the students and teachers live

in are the apartment houses.

Before long,new buildings will be added to our campus and some old ones

will be pulled down.I think that our campus will become more and more

beautiful.Then more and more young men will come and learn in it.

小溪边，柳树姑娘迎着春风对着镜子梳理着自己那长长的秀发。梳着梳着，芽儿就冒出来了。小草绿茸茸的，铺满了大地。绿毯中夹杂着几朵小花，美丽极了。

木屋旁，外公种的桃树开花了，一阵风吹来，粉红的花朵似一个小朋友穿着粉裙子在舞蹈。最新奇的花就是玉兰了，别的花大都是先长叶子后开花，只有它是先开花后长叶。

草坪上，爸爸妈妈和孩子们一起放风筝，春风拂过脸庞，给人一种神清气爽的感觉，小朋友牵着线，妈妈拿着风筝，风一来，妈妈放开风筝，小朋友跑呀跑呀!风筝终于飞起来了。

校园里。妈妈把我送到校园中，并嘱咐我认真听课。教室里，孩子们高声朗读课文，校园里回荡着同学们的读书声。

一到了春节，大街小巷人山人海，热闹极了！

盼啊，盼啊，终于盼到了除夕。这天的下午，妈妈和我们挂上了大红灯笼、贴上了红红的对联，我大声的读到：“马飞马年马上发大财”，哥哥接到：“人增人寿人迎鸿运来”。哈哈哈妈妈说春联都是吉祥话，是人们祈求在新的一年里能过上快乐幸福的日子。

晚上，妈妈准备了一大桌丰盛的年夜饭，我们还和妈妈一起学包了很多各样的饺子，最好看的就是“元宝饺”，我们一家人其乐融融的品尝着美食，收看着春节联欢晚会。春晚有一个神奇的节目，就是小彩旗从春晚一开始就个不停，引起了很多观众的关注。后来，我在网上找到了小彩旗不晕的原因，真的是很神奇呀！

春晚还有好多好多丰富多彩的节目，相声、小品让我们捧腹大笑；唱歌、跳舞让我们跟着载歌载舞；魔术、杂技让我们啧啧称赞。

晚会进入了高潮“当当当十二点的钟声敲响了，新的一年来临了！瞧，外面成了烟花的世界。我们和爸爸点燃了烟花，简直是火树银花，格外绚丽。看那千姿百态的烟花多美，把天空点缀的五光十色。这时，我暗暗地许下心愿，希望在新的一年里我的学习成绩能更上一层楼。

honor to be here to introduce myself to all of you. My name is Xing Heng and I’m

in my eighteen years old. I come fromXiamen, which is a famous and beautiful

city. I strongly suggest you visiting there and I can be your guide if it’s

convenient. After three years’ hard work, I am so excited that I am finally

enrolled by my dreaming school,SichuanUniversityand be one of you. I am outgoing

and I have many interests, such as playing basketball, football, and swimming,

Last summer my parents and I had a trip to Hainan.

We went there by train at six oclock. When we got there we found that the air in Hainan is fresh and Hainan is very beautiful.We ate local foodtoo.The food was delicious. We took many photos in Hainan. We had a very good time in Hainan.
