hard to know what to say. Mainly because like most adults I feel preposterous

asking anything of you because our time with you is surely done. Now we get our

own presents, control our own fates, take responsibility for our own actions,

and live in the world we have created... so its not for us to turn around and

plead for your help with the environment, the migrant crisis, the NHS,

education, food banks, human rights, fundamentalism and wars. Though God knows

we need all the help we can get with all these man-made problems and more.

And its not that you arent compassionate and full of joy. Youre great.

In spite of you being changed into different colours for corporations and being

bastardised to represent materialism gone mad - despite probably originating in

some season based pagan druid ritual a million thought miles from requests for

spontaneously combusting hoverboards... Kidadults cynically pointing this out

after having their moment of belief in you are wasting everyones precious time.

Because you are not for them. You are for the children. Children who need some

magic in a world where the borders between innocence and responsibility, playful

imagination and cold, adult obstacles are continually shrinking.

This is what Id like to ask you to help with. A little more time for

children to be children. Stretch the moment of magic and playfulness. Distract

them from the realities of a world gone mad so that they can laugh with their

breath rather than sob with their tears. Especially those caring for family

members, or suffering illness, hunger or poverty. Especially those hiding in

buildings as bombs rain down, or being handed shaking with fear or cold into a

boat to escape environmental disaster or war. Please help to light up their

worlds with a moment of joy and hope.

When I think about it youve got it tough this year... And when I really

think about it Im not sure that asking you for a lightsaber and getting one

(not that I ever did by the way) is equatable with controlling the space time

continuum and making the good of childhood last a little longer.

But you do inspire wonder and awe amongst those that write you letters and

go to sleep hoping there might be a new object in their possession come dawn.

You inspire good behaviour and, at least in my memory, some desperate last

minute attempts to redeem bad behaviour so as not to be overlooked. Spare a

thought too for those millions who want to write to you but through illiteracy

cant. Hear their words and help to give them the time and chance to learn how

to read and write so they can better their lives and escape their impoverished

beginnings.

I feel a little sorry for you. And I guess Ive done exactly what I said I

wouldnt... Asked you to help with adult problems and solve some of the greatest

worries we have for our children. I promise to leave some extra port and mince

pies for you!

怎样度过这个难得的假日？大家都有自己的高招。

大一刚入学的彭同学选择的是个人自助去南宁旅游，一个背包，一副墨镜，一身运动休闲装，一个人按照自己计划的旅游路线前行，当然这得要花费一段比较长的时间，还得有点冒险和开拓精神，如果选择较远距离的旅游，当然还的有点经济基础，你得自己解决路费、门票、住宿费……当然出游最经济实惠的还是选择“学生团体一日游”，比如“庐山一日游”等，在黄金周还没开始前就有还多学生代理的旅行社在食堂口摆点宣传，报名参加的还真不少，“这种近距离的团体一日游费用比较低，并且一日游耗时短，假日剩余的时间还可以安排其他的活动，远距离旅游大部分时间花在了路上坐车上，还较的安全，而且又有好多同班同学一起去，大家借这个机会还可以聚一聚”，前去报名的周同学谈道。

唐朝晚年，特别是唐宣宗以后的懿宗、僖宗，一味的只知道寻欢作乐。朝廷政治黑暗，民间赋税繁重。贵族、官僚霸占了大量土地，老百姓却没有地种，只得到处流亡。有些地方发生了灾荒，农民靠吃草根树叶过活，官吏却照旧向他们催逼赋税。广大农民已经没法活下去了。唐懿宗即位的那年，浙东地区就爆发了裘甫领导的农民起义。公元８６８年，又发生了庞勋领导的桂林守军的起义。

鲍元８７５年，濮州（在今山东鄄城北）人王仙芝领导几千人在长垣（在今河南新练）起义，自称“天补平均大将军”，很快攻占了曹州（今山东曹县）和濮州。附近农民纷纷参加，起义队伍一下子发展到几万人。

黄巢是冤句（在今山东曹县西北）人。他的家乡正是王仙芝起义军占领的地区。黄巢精通武艺，读过经书，贩过私盐，结交了不少江湖好汉。他本来就想推翻唐朝，这时看到王仙芝起义，就也组织几千人，起兵响应，并加入了王仙芝的起义队伍。

王仙芝、黄巢在山东、河南一带，到处攻打州县，声势越来越大。朝廷派兵去镇压，可是老是吃败仗。于是有些官员提议，把王仙芝招降过去。

王仙芝官迷心窍，准备接受招安。这事给黄巢知道了。他去找王仙芝，愤怒地说：“当初我们立下大誓，一定要把天下那些害国害民的坏人扫清。现在事情还没有成功，你却想去做官，你怎么对得起这些弟兄！”

黄巢越讲越气愤，忍不住拔出拳头，朝王仙芝脸上狠狠打了一拳。黄巢不愿再跟从王仙芝，他带领一支军队，开始单独作战。

两人一分兵，王仙芝的力量大大削弱。他一心想当官，多次派人向唐朝官员求降。唐朝官员见他已没有多大能耐，便不再理会他。不久，王仙芝兵败被杀，他留下的队伍也赶去投奔黄巢了。

两支起义军重新会合后，大家推黄巢为黄王，号“冲天大将军”。黄巢开始设置官职，管理起义军内部的事务。从此，起义军才算有了初步的组织。

黄巢带领起义军，准备去攻打洛阳。唐僖宗急忙调兵遣将，增援洛阳。黄巢见唐军兵力强大，就渡过淮河，向唐军力量空虚的南方挺进。他们转战了大半个中国，一直打到了福州、广州。

黄巢到了广州，没想到那里发生瘟疫。起义军将领劝黄巢离开南方，举行北伐。于是，黄巢休整了一下队伍，又带兵北上。

这时，起义军已发展到几十万人，成了一支强大的队伍。他们一路上势如破竹，把各地的官军打得一败涂地，很快渡过了长江，随后又渡过了淮河。

鲍元８８０年十二月，黄巢打到了洛阳，洛阳官员马上开城投降了。黄巢进城以后，由于起义军纪律严明，洛阳城里商店照常营业，街上完全跟平常一样。

黄巢又下令向潼关进军。他的前锋部队很快到达了关外。起义军都打着白旗，那些白旗漫山遍野，一眼望不到尽头，简直像一片白色的海洋。一会儿，黄巢来了，起义军高声大喊，好像晴天霹雳。驻守关外的唐军看到这声势，吓得各自逃命去了。

就在这年年底，黄巢在长安当了皇帝，国号叫大齐。长安成了起义军的天下，黄巢也终于实现了“冲天香阵透长安，满城尽是黄金甲”的愿望。

新政权建立了，但黄巢控制的地方却非常小，只有长安及其附近的几小块地方。原来黄巢一直流动作战，打下的地方，都没有派兵把守。他一走，这些地方又全给敌人占领去了。

唐僖宗逃到成都以后，就纠集军队，把长安包围起来。几十万起义军挤在这一小块地方，日子一长，粮食都吃光了。就在起义军出现严重困难的时刻，黄巢手下的一个大将朱温投降了唐朝。

这时，唐僖宗又调来了沙陀族的酋长李克用的骑兵。李克用带领沙陀骑兵，和唐军一道作战，击败了起义军。

黄巢见形势不利，撤出了长安。一路上，他作战又老是失利，最后退到泰山狼虎谷，兵败自杀了。

这次大起义历时十年，从根本上动摇了唐朝的腐朽统治。没有多久，唐朝就灭亡了。

这天和朋友一齐出去郊游，外面的空气很好，人感觉很舒服。我们骑着自行车一路欣赏鸟语花香。享受着大自然带给我们的无限完美。大家开开心心地度过了愉快的一天。

everybody has a daily schedule.we do the same things almost every day.my

typical day is probaly like yours.

heres my daily routine.i get up at 6:30 every morning.i take my time

waking up,but then i wash up quickly.i brush my teeth,comb my hair and put on my

school uniform.i pack my bag for school and i leave.i never miss breakfast,so i

either eat at home or eat on the way to school.but i always eat ina hurry.after

school,i go to a cram school like all my friends.i study and finish my homework

for the day.finally,i go home and i take a break.i have dinner with my

family,watch a little tv and just relax.i am usually in bed by 9:30.

this is my routine from monday to friday. however,the weekends are

different.i can wake up late and have a ball.then.i can do whatever i like.i

believe my routine is typical.it is probably a lot like yours.

Dear parents,

“You always say that I am naive. In your eyes, I am always the little girl who will never grow up”. This is my favorite song and also the sound from the bottom of my heart. You made me feel so lucky to be your child. But I find our hearts getting further apart as time goes by.

You strictly forbid me to do entertaining activities even if I finished my homework, such as watching TV or playing computer games. Based on this, I couldn’t get any grade less than A. It is said that genius only means hard-working all one’s life. But I think combining exertion is the best way for learning.

The most important thing to me was that I feel frustrated for having few friends to confide in due to your strict rules. I can’t have a play date, participate in a school play or even choose my own extracurricular activities. Who will accept such a boring and troublesome person? I am just an ordinary girl who can’t stand loneliness, so I always feel contradictory.

On the one hand, I’m grateful to have you in my life, to disappoint you was the least I would do. On the other hand, what you asked for me made me felt like a puppet rather than a real person. I appreciated your efforts to pull me away from a self-indulgent life, but your obsessively extravagant strictness has pushed me into an isolated and insensible one. I need a little freedom so that I will concentrate on something I really interested in.

Father and mother, these words were hid in my deep heart for a long time. I love you, and I believe if you change some harsh rules. I will have a wonderful life.

Today, my parents took me to mygrandfathers home. I talked with my

grandfather for a little while and then Iplayed with my brothers and sisters.

After a while, my elderly brothersuggested going to the park and having a rest.

"Thats a good idea." I said.Then we prepared for the outing. However, after

lunch, the sky turned dark andrained heavily. Therefore, our plan was an

impossible due to the bad weather.How pity it was! All the afternoon, we could

only have fun in house. We playedcards, watched TV and played computer games. We

were happy, but we still hopedthat we can go out next time.

great progress in my study. A year ago, my study was bad and I didn’t want to

While walking in the school , I am attracted by a yellow , its blooming winter jasmine ! Yes ,Spring is coming , in every corner of the earth is full of Spring !

Spring scenery is so beautiful . Looking at the blossom and the green leaves on the trees I still remembered the flowers falling down last year , the yellow leaves dancing in the air last autumn ,but now ,I just see them flashing in the sunlight ! I like to smell the fragrance of flowers , to see the new green trees and hear the singing of small birds . Besides, the climate of spring is pleasant . During the spring , we can take on lighter clothes without worrying whether we will catch a cold !

I love this beautiful season , no matter in the school or outside can we feel the spring everywhere . I love this meaningful season , because its full of vitality ,full of hope !

Last weekend i went to the park with my friends.We went there by bus on saturday ,The weather was sunny ,When we arrived there,we saw many kinds of flowers ,they are so beautiful,There were many people ,some kids played football,some girls flyed the kites,and some old people played chess,we sang and danced there,In the afternoon we played some games ,when we got home we felt tired ,but happy.
