Protect Traditional Chinese Culture

The passage mainly tells us the importance of protecting traditional Chinese culture, which is challenged or facing extinction because of the developing society and changing lifestyle. Besides, China is nationwide sparing no efforts to do it.

The protection of national and folk culture is of great significance to Chinese cultural diversity and also to the harmonious development between local economic and social development. It is reported that the Guangdong government pays special attention to protecting Chaoju(潮剧)， a local drama born in Chaozhou in the eastern Guangdong province.

In my opinion, some measures should be taken to protect traditional culture effectively. To start with, we should make a law to regulate the society’s performance. The first thing we can do is to use cloth bags in stead of plastic bags when we go shopping. It helps to protect the environment. The second thing we can do is to reuse the old textbooks as possible as we can. We should also never forget to turn off the lights when we leave the classrooms in order to save energy. Whats more, it would be better if we walk or ride a bike to school. We should try our best reduce pollution and waste.

在星期一下午，我和焦益程去包干区捡垃圾，来到教室窗口草地上。只见草地上都是垃圾又脏又臭，还有人不时从楼上窗口往下倒水，溅得到处满是水。我们拿起钳子，慢慢弯下身，夹起一个个垃圾，小心翼翼的放入垃圾桶。正当我俩干得热火朝天时发现了一条死去的鸟，我猜测它也许是被冻死的。“哈哈死鸟可真好玩!”大胆的焦益程夹起死鸟炫耀起来。他夹着死鸟走出草地，还把死鸟摇来摇去，把周围的同学吓得四处逃散。我拉住焦益程，大声说：“焦益程快点停下来!”“我还想玩”，焦益程回答道。我心想：小鸟都死了还折磨它，它可真可怜啊!焦益程夹着它，把它用力的往池塘中丢去。结果死鸟漂浮在水面上，焦益程一看没兴趣，又把它夹回来地面，我一看毛骨悚然，心中愤愤不平，恨不得让他也掉入水中去感受下，洗个脏水澡一下。让人悲痛欲绝的是，焦益程将死鸟扔进草丛中，再用力地扔到远处。焦益程还把死鸟踩住，用力将死鸟的头扭断，结果他左扭右扭，无论怎样都不能扭断。我想：小鸟以前在天空中飞翔是那么快乐，可是现在......最后，我把死鸟埋葬了。

在回教室时，我心想;真希望神能给他第二次生命，使它复活重新拥抱蓝天那该多好!

就拿印度洋毛里求斯群岛上生活的渡渡鸟来说，由于它身上的肉鲜美无比，所以遭到当时人类的大量捕食，在十七世纪就已告灭绝。但是如果当时人们有动物保护意识的话，就不会造成渡渡鸟的灭绝。再说生活在我国青藏高原的藏羚羊吧，因为它其外层皮毛下面的被称作沙图什的绒毛异常精细，可以用来织成华丽的披肩，而惨遭偷猎者大肆捕杀。因为织出一条女式沙图什披肩便需要300至400克生绒，这意味着要牺牲3只藏羚羊的生命。所以在上世纪90年代初期，藏羚羊的数目只有65000只到72500只之间，要知道这只有100年前藏羚羊总数的十分之一。所幸的是人们意识到了保护这种濒临灭绝的动物。现在北京已有多名志愿者来到可可西里担当起义务看护藏羚羊的活动。同时国际爱护动物基金会从1999年起每年为我国藏羚羊保护捐赠8万至10万美金用以在可可西里、羌塘和阿尔金山三大自然保护区开展反盗猎行动和针对藏羚羊保护的各种宣传活动。我们人类正慢慢将藏羚羊这种可爱的动物从灭绝的边缘拉回来。

Private cars have become an important aspect of people’s life in many parts of our country,especially in large cities such as Beijing,Shanghai and Guangzhou.While they bring much convenience to people,they are also widely criticized.

There are some arguments for owning private cars.In the first place,cars allow people to move around freely,whichgreatly improves our living standard.We easily drive cars for traveling.In second place,When we have something urgent to do,cars are quick than other vehicles in some extent.Last but not least,the car industry can boost economy by creating many job opportunities.
