成吉思汗

Genghis Khan, "Khan of Khans", was the great leader of Mongolians. At the

end of 12th century, he united Mongolian tribes and challenged other powers to

expand his huge Mongolian empire, which extended from South China to the Caspian

Sea.

In 1277, Khan attacked the West Xia Kingdom (presently Ningxia) and

encountered strong resistance. He died of disease and age. The great emperor was

later buried secretly according to Mongolian custom. It says that after the

burial 2,000 men were slaughtered by some 800 soldiers who were in turn executed

so that the location of the real tomb remains a secret.

There are four sacrifice ceremonies held annually to commemorate the great

hero and leader of the Mongolian people. The ceremony, held on March 21st on

lunar calendar, is the grandest. After the ceremony, horse racing, archery and

wrestling are held as entertainment.

On national day, I, mother, Pan Luyao, and Sun Yichao to play in Jinhua. We

went to dream Valley, also went to the underground river, to a lot of places,

there can be a lot of fun, until October 5th, we go home to be reluctant to

part, that night at home have 10 points. I bought a lot of gifts, Pan Luyao, Sun

Yichao, father, brother and mother. October 1st is mothers birthday, I wish the

motherland mother happy birthday!

A boy lives near my house and I never know his name. Every day, he will

bring some food to the homeless dogs and cats. Sometimes when I am passing

In the east of China， there is a small city---Haimen. I was born there.

Today， I am telling you about my hometown. Haimen is not far from Shanghai. It’s

at the mouth of the Changjiang River. Haimen is a modern city. There are lots of

high buildings in it. Most of us live in flats. We like to live in flats because

we can be close to our friends. In the center of Haimen， there are many shops.

You can buy some nice things here. Things in most shops aren’t expensive. You

can pay a little money and they are yours. My hometown is a beautiful city. On

each of the roads， there are some big trees and nice flowers. The roads are also

very clean. They make people happy and comfortable. The seasons here are very

nice. I like autumn best. It’s neither hot nor cold. A poem says “Flyer of

summer come to my window to sing， then fly away. And yellow leaves of autumn，

which have no songs， just fall there with a sign.” It’s very cool.I love Haimen.

October 1stis the national day of our country, which is a public holiday for the whole country. It’s an important day that marks the beginning of PRC. On that day, there are plenty of celebrations holding throughout the country, from the central government to the general people. And public places, including big squares, parks are decorated in festive theme. In recent years, the national holiday means the golden week as well, which is a short holiday that all people expect to. With the improvement of living standards, people have more money and desire to travel and the golden week is a good chance for them. Hello, everyone, my name is Yang she, this year Im nine years old, from

changzhi city XiangYuanXian, hope everyone support me a lot.

Every year on June 27 is my birthday, but before it is my birthday is June

26. Why say June 26 birthday? Because it is also in June 26 birthday of my

grandpa, so they add up to a day. Why how into June 27 birthday this year?

Because my grandpa just turned 60 to the life, so I no birthday on June 26. We

go home to my grandpa and my grandpas birthday.

There was once a little turtle that wanted to be the fasted animal in the

jungle, everybody laughed at him and said that he could never be the fasted

animal ever. But the turtle didn’t listen to them, and instead, he decided to

learn and study from the wild hare; he was the fasted animal in the jungle oh

yes. In fact, every animal went to learn from the hare had become the fasted

runners too. When the turtle told the hare that he wanted to be the fasted

runner in the jungle, the hare laughed high over heels aloud; “Oh, oh!” cried

the hare, “Turtle, if you want to be the fasted, then you must get that big

shell of your back, Ha-ha!”

The turtle was not very happy about what he had just heard from the hare,

and he eventually decided to prove to him that it was his duty to be the fasted

runner of the jungle. “How about this, I and you have a race;” said the turtle

suddenly, the hare laughed aloud again, “Oh turtle, turtle; please don’t tell me

that you are not going to give up!” “I am not, I have the heart inside my body,

and I do not believe that I couldn’t be the fasted runner in the jungle!” the

hare then finally agreed to race with him.

When the time arrived, the turtle got ready; when the sound began to blow,

the turtle walked along slowly. While the hare in the other case hopped about

happily. “Does he really think that he could beat me?!” shouted the hare, “That

would be a dream in his brain;” said the hare again. When he was almost at the

finish line, the hare said to him, “I shall take a rest, then when I get up the

turtle still behind my tail; and I cross the finish line, using my rest energy;”

saying that, the hare lay down asleep. The turtle still didn’t give up; he soon

found the hare, and crossed him quietly, when he reached the finish line, he

cried out loud; when the hare woke up, found the turtle still wasn’t in front of

him.

He hopped about happily, and when he reached the line, he found the turtle

already resting on a rock. The hare was so shocked that he lay down on the grass

just like that he fainted. And so the turtle became the champion; nobody ever

laughed at him ever again, and whenever some animals wanted to learn running,

they did not go to ask the hare; since he was not yet the fastest any more,

instead they went to the turtle to get advice from their new jungle running

lesson teacher.

There was once a boy and Henry who were both very good friends that lived

very close to each other. Each day they would go outside and play. One day their

parents decided to let them go to school to learn lessons. Of course they both

loved it very much.

They were in the same class and studied very hard to earn a reward.

One day when they were ready to go to school, their parents told them never

ever to walk on the ice; it may melt since spring was starting here.

They both agreed, but did they really keep in mind of it? Well, they went

off to the pond since they were going to cross it. They were too lazy to walk

the other ways; and they didn’t think that it was even possible that the ice

would melt, so they went on the ice slowly to cross it.

Suddenly, they both felt a crack under their feet, and the ice was to crack

and melt. They were very nervous and regretted not following their parents

advice.When it was time for school to start, they still didn’t cross it. When

they were about to reach shore; boom! The ice cracked, and both of them fell

into the cold icy water. They struggled for a while, at last Henry found a

little spot where both of them could hold and pull them up from the icy

water.

They slowly swam to the beam, and stepped on a rock which was lying there,

Henry lifted himself up and the other boy did the same thing and both of them

got on shore.

They went to school all soaked wet and goofy, their teacher scolded them

for not coming to school on time. Of course they had extra homework for the day;

but both of them didn’t mind. When they got home, they went to their parents and

cried. Their moms saw them all soaked and wet, they asked them; “How did you get

so wet?” and the boys cried out, “We didn’t obey you!” Then they told them the

whole story. Their moms were glad that Henry figured out that there was a rock

that could bring them both safe onto land.

They all learned a lesson, and it is:

Always obey your parents no matter what happened. If you don’t obey your

parents, the terrible things that never happened might even come to life…

In the past two years， my parents took me to travel to many places，

including big cities， small towns， famous mountians and so on。 Therefore， I like

traveling and I hope I can visit to many more places。 Since then， I hope I can

be a tour guide in the future， so I can travel to many tourist attractions。

Besides， I can meet various people and I think municating with different people

is interesting， wchich can broaden my field of vision。 I hope they can share

their life stories with me so that I can know the general life of a place。 I

know it would be a challenging job， but I believe I can do well in my job。
