Some people praise the people who save others, becuase its traditional virtue in China to help those who are in need. However, some other people argue that its not worth to save others lives at the cost of ones own and it should not be encouraged. As far as I am concerned, the spirit of self-sacrifice is worthy for us to learn, but we should find amore appropriate way to avoid accident as well.

First, every life is precious and respected. Whenever somebody is in danger, we will certainly give them a hand to rescue the lifeif we could. Its our nature. However, its unwise to take action without any considerations. For instance,somebody is drowning, if you are good at swimming, you could jump into the water to save the life; but if you cant swim, the best way for you is not jump into the water but shout loudly and ask others for help. Secondly, some extra accidents can be avoided if we think carefully. There are too many stories about young and promising people sacrifice their own lives to save other but lost their own lives. Its quite debated about these cases. They all have their persuasive reasons and its difficult for us to tell right or wrong between them.

How I Spent My Summer Vacation The summer vacation had come round again. I was happy that I could forget about school at least for a while. Lest I fool around all through this summer vacation, I made a plan as to how to spend it. First, I thought I should go over all those things my teachers taught in the previous term so that I could have a better understanding of them. Well, I do. Being a 5 ft 10 myself, I am also taking the advantage of buying a larger outfit at a same price. Also, I get a cleaner view of the blackboard even when sitting far away from it. I run faster, jump higher and can think positively. I am proud to say that I possess the ability to see the upside of almost everything. 记得去年暑假，家门口的枣树上结满了青绿色的枣子，这时的枣子是最甜的。我抱住枣树的树干用力摇晃，但是粗粗的树干纹丝不动。这时，华蕊说：“唐亦心，别白费力气了，看我的。”她捡了一些小石子，想把枣子扔下来。我看了看她，说：“这样太危险了，万一掉下来砸到人怎么办?”华蕊环顾了一下四周，似乎在寻找可以使用的工具。她的目光停在了我家阳台晾衣服的竹竿上，她说：“唐亦心，能问你妈妈要晾衣服的竹竿吗?我们可以用竹竿来敲打树枝，这样枣子就会掉下来，我们就能吃到枣子了。”我听了华蕊的想法，我开心说：“华蕊，你真是太聪明了。”她拿起竹竿，想敲打树枝。可是，枣树太高了，她够不着，怎么办?“有了!”她踩在一根树枝上，两脚使劲一蹬，像一只灵活的猴子似的爬上了树。华蕊一手抱紧树干，一手拿起竹竿用力往树枝上敲打，只见枣子宛如下雨般落了下来。我们高兴极了，跑东跑西地捡枣子。我放了一颗枣子在嘴里，由衷的对华蕊说：“华蕊，你真是太厉害了。”华蕊欢快的笑了笑，说：“小事一桩。”枣子的甜味沁入了我们的心田。

瞧，这就是我的好朋友——华蕊。一个活泼开朗，聪明伶俐的女孩。

在这个暑假中，旅行使我增长见识，学习使我深受启发。

生活中，我们迎着微风乘车去旅行，让我看到了一望无垠的大海，绿树成荫的森林……仿佛走进了仙境一般。一天，我们来到了十里荷塘，那时正是荷花盛开，我们看到了在水面上亭亭玉立的荷花，无比娇艳，像一位骄傲的公主。我们又去了繁华的都市——上海，夜晚，繁华的上海滩成了光的海洋，霓虹灯闪耀的东方明珠塔，堪称上海的地标建筑。

In life, we meet the breeze bus to travel, let me see the boundless sea, green forest...... Just like entering a wonderland general. One day, we came to the ten in the lotus pond, then it is the lotus in full bloom, we see a stand gracefully erect on the surface of the lotus flower, very beautiful, like a proud princess. We went to the bustling city -- Shanghai, the bustling night, Shanghai Tan into ocean of lights, neon lights shining in the Oriental Pearl TV Tower, a landmark building in Shanghai.

学习中，我学到了许多，尤其是写作、阅读、奥数都能得到老师的表扬，所以在暑假中，我的学习收获也是满满的，我对学好阅读与写作更有信心了。

In the study, I learned a lot, especially reading, writing, math can get the teachers praise, so in the summer vacation, my study is full of harvest, I to learn reading and writing more confident.

小队活动中，我去了污水处理厂、滨海的向日葵基地、十里荷塘、袍江的国家电网公司，我在实践中学到了很多课外知识，受益匪浅，同时也增进了同学之间的友谊。

据网上报道显示，人大代表提出高考取消英文科目，赞同人数高达百分之八十二，这一话题也成为当今许多同学的热议，很多人认为：中国人学好国语就行，为何要学习外国的语言。

我认为英语成为我们学生的学习主科有其道理性和针对性的针对学生的发展未来。从对国家发展来看英语占全世界的国家讲的人数虽不是最多的，但却是分布的最广乏于国家的，包括很多的发达国家，中国学习这门语言对走出世界，同其他国家交流沟通发挥了很大的作用，如果取消这门沟通语言之门便少了日后中国发挥国际地位中的作用，众所周知，中国早已加入世界贸易组织，若贸然作出取消英语科目的决定，其进一步从长远地发展眼光看便可想而知。

作为学生，许多人的其他科目优势都能被英语这门科目好多了，但无论如何学好英语对学生的将来只有利大于弊，如果其他都学好只有英语差，对将来是不利的，要想睁大眼睛看世界，就得努力使自己插上翅膀飞出中国面对多样化，缤纷多彩的世界，到一个发达的地区闯出一片天，再把自己的国家发展好。

义务教育阶段时期在小学时便把语文，数学英语，这三门科目定为了主要学习科目，其实英语只要从小学基础打起，便觉得好学，多听，多说，脑海里会自然形成像语文那样会听，会说的一种能力。

My family and I went to the seaside. My dad went fishing in the sea. My mumstayed under the umbrella. She read a book. My uncle ate an ice cream. My consins ate bread. My brothers made a sandcastle. My sisters bathed on the sunny beach. Mike went swimming in the sea. Kate and I played football. We were very happy.
