Before the festival, people will go to visit their relatives and friends. They usually have a big dinner together and give best wishes to each other. Most children in China love this festival because they can play fireworks and lucky money from their parents and relatives.

The Spring Festival

This year,I had a exciting spring festival.Do you want to know about it?Let me tell you!

First,I went to ocean park with my family in Hongkong.It was very relaxing there.I ate the sea food.I played with the dolphins!

It was really happy there!

Then,we went to the Disneyland.It was very romantic.We enjoyed our selves there.It remind our mind to our childhood!If we will have another chance tour Hongkong.We will come there again!

Spring Festival is very important in China.We always celebrate every  year ,and everyong likes  the Spring Festival very much.

Before Spring Festival , the people often do some shopping in the shopping mall,they buy the new ciothes,something to eat  and so on.

On New Years eve, the family will get together to eat meal.

In the Spring Festival,people usually eat dumplings.People will go to elder home happy New Year ,then children can get red packets from their grandparents, parents,uncle,aunt.

MySpringFestival Last years Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from Shanghai. My family were very happy to keep the Spring Festival with them. And it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals. On New Years Eve, my father and my uncle talked about their work together. My mum did some cooking with my aunt Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV programmes. At about six oclock, we had a special family dinner. We all thought the dumplings were delicious. On the first day of the New Year, we visited our relatives. In the afternoon, we went shopping in Jiefanf Road. My uncle bought some Jays CDs. He likes Jays music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more alive than any other time of a year. On the second and the third days, we spent a wonderful weekend in the country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves. I had an interesting Spring Festival. How about you?

家家户户把鲜红的窗花和对联贴到门上、窗上。最有特色的是门福和门神了，门福发出的金光，一定能把年吓得甩头就跑，贴这些东西因该就是想把年吓跑，我就给你讲讲年的故事吧﹗

从前有一种叫年的怪兽，凶猛异常，年住在海底，每到一定的时间，年就上岸来吞食牲畜伤害人命。因此到除夕，村村寨寨的人们扶老挽幼逃往深山，以躲避年的伤害。

有一年除夕，又到了年出来的时间，乡亲们都忙着收拾东西。这时来了一位白发苍苍的老人对一家人说，只要让他在这户人家住一晚，一定把年驱走，这户人家劝他还是上山避避，但老人不听。

当年来了，突然听见白发老人燃响的爆竹声，年不敢向前凑了，原来最怕红色、火光和炸响。这是大门大开，只见院内一位身披红袍的老人哈哈大笑，年大惊失色，仓皇而逃。从此，年不再出现。

The Spring Festival falls on the 1st day of the 1st lunar month, often one month later than the Gregorian calendar. It originated in the Shang Dynasty (c.1600 BC-c.1100 BC) from the peoples sacrifice to gods and ancestors at the end of an old year and the beginning of a new one.
