在我们家乡的春节与北方是一样热闹的，但是我们的风俗习惯却是截然不同的！北方的春节一般在腊月的初旬就开始了，而我们家乡则一般在腊月的下旬才开始。

在腊月二十四这一天，我们就会开始准备过年要用的东西。我们会到市场或商场里购买年货、 买对联、 买新衣服……

等过了二十四，大家则更忙。家家户户户都必须大扫除一次，我们都会把家里的每一个角落打扫的干干净净、一尘不染，好在新年的时候显示出万象更新的新气象。

除夕十分热闹。在这一天我们按照老规矩是要杀家禽的。家家户户都赶着做年菜，到处都是香喷喷的香味。每一户人家的门外都贴上了红红的对联。这一天，小孩子们欢喜，大人们也忙乱。除夕的夜晚，有人会放烟花。那个时候，天空中顿时变得火花满天，绚丽多彩。那一朵朵烟花在空中飞舞，有的好像闪烁着神秘光彩的宝石，有的像闪闪发光的星星，有的像小蜜蜂在空中飞舞，有的喷着红光升到空中，照亮了整个夜空。“噼里啪啦”的鞭炮声响彻云霄，划破了夜空的沉静，孩子们的欢呼声，大人们的议论声、鞭炮声送走了旧岁，迎来了新年。

So every year they hoped that the Spring Festival would come soon. Now， although people‘s life is much better，and we can eat the delicious foods everyday. People still like the festival. Because most people can have a long holiday，and we are free to go on a trip or visit our friends or have parties with our family. In the evenings，we can have a big meal in the restaurant or stay at home with family and watch the TV programs.

春节，俗称过年，是民间一年中庆贺时间最长，最隆重的传统节日。春节是我们汉族人民的最爱。

春节差不多在腊月二十三就已经开始啦，在我们这里叫小年。过小年，差不多就是春节的一个开幕式。这一天，是要祭灶的。祭灶的时候，鞭炮声响起来，说明过年的气息离我们更近啦些。

过啦小年，大家就更忙啦，必须准备过年的东西，正式迎接年的到来。

除夕真红火，家家户户都鞭炮喧天辞旧岁，爆竹声中迎新春，家家都赶着包饺子，到处是饺子的香味，人人都穿上啦新衣，贴上红红的对联，年画。除夕夜家家都笑声不停，灯火辉煌，鞭炮声一阵接一阵，午夜十二点，春节的钟声响起来啦，伴随着钟声到来，预示着辞旧迎新，大家都长大啦一岁，回首过去的一年里，我好想停留在那长不大的童话世界里……

My name is Beth. Im 14 years old, and I study in No. 1 Middle School of

Hangzhou. My school is very big and beautiful. Im very happy in the school.

I usually get up at 6:15 in the morning. Then I do morning exercises in the

playground. At 6:40, I have my breakfast. You can see many students and teachers

in the dinning room. After breakfast, I often read English with my

classmates.

We have six classes every day. The first class begins at 7:50 am. I like

all the classes for my teachers can make the classes lively and interesting. My

favorite subject is English, so I join English Corner every week. I can speak

谈及春节，最难忘的就是儿时的春节了。那时候年味很浓重，一进入腊月，家家户户就开始忙着准备过年的事项了。趁着还没到年底，物价还没疯涨，奶奶经常会在赶集的日子去市场上带年货回来，有时候是瓜子饼干，有时候是饮料蔬菜，有时候是烟花鞭炮，零零碎碎的屯着。小时候看见零食就两眼发光，时不时的就去储物间抓两把瓜子，拿几包饼干，奶奶怕我们这些小孩子在年前就把零食吃完，就用一个大箱子装起来，放在衣柜的最上层，导致儿时的我们每天都眼巴巴的看着那口大箱子，祈祷着新年赶紧到来。

儿时的春节最让我开心的不是有许多的零食吃，而是会有新衣服新鞋子。小时候的我很臭美，一到过年，全身上下都要换新的。新年的新衣服是早就买好了放在我的衣柜里的，没有到过年那一天我都舍不得穿，每天都要打开衣柜瞅上好几眼，爱不释手的摸摸领子再摸摸袖口，新鞋子也是擦了又擦，反反复复跟奶奶确认到底哪一天才过年，等着出门拜年的时候一展风采。

儿时的春节十分隆重，大年初一那天早晨，要乖乖的早起和爷爷奶奶爸爸妈妈道新年好，吃完丰盛的早餐（我们那叫过早）后和大家去祠堂祭拜祖先，祈祷新的一年风调雨顺，家人身体健康，四季平安，大人事业有成，小孩学业进步。村里还安排了人舞狮，家家户户准备好茶水点心等着“狮子”进门，寓意着这一年的鸿运来。除此之外村里还会组织很多的贺新年活动，沉寂的村子焕然一新，大家脸上都是洋溢着喜庆的笑容……

“我已经回家了！你也快点回来吧，大家都等你呢！”发小的信息打断了我的思绪，我回复了道“好的，我也快要回来了！”，并在日历上的除夕那天画了个圈。

儿时春节的记忆十分美好，让我久久不能忘怀。而现在，好友的等候，家人的盼望，让我也忍不住的开始期待起今年的春节来……

It was cooler than yesterday. One of my father’s friends invited me to eat red bayberries. You must know it is unusual. Because we will climb the hill to eat red bayberries. There is no chance to eat red bayberries in the hill for the people who don’t live in Beijing. On the hill, you can breathe the fresh air, you can listen birds singing and you can eat red bayberries. It was enjoyable. It is said there are wild pigs in the hill. What a beautiful natural.

January 22

Today I found time was a cruel thing. Whatever man is, time always goes on. It won’t stay to wait for somebody. You can’t use anything to exchange time. Time is also a fair thing. Although you have a lot of money or you enjoy high reputation, time won’t leave them more. Today I found I hadn’t enough time. Although I have 50-day holiday, but I found I had a lot of things to do. I had a lot of homework to do and I had something necessary to do.

January 23

I have rested for 10 days. In these days, I felt very bored. I didn’t know to do what. Although I had a lot of things to do, I felt uncomfortable. I was ill because of the cold weather. I was tired, sleepy and had no strength. My parents are worried about my health. in fact, it didn’t matter. I was always in the room with air-conditioner and opened it in a low temperature. So when I went out, the high temperature disagreed to me. Finally, I was ill.

As the only child in my family, I know how much effort my parents put upon me, therefore I want to do something for my parents .I can give them hugs and kisses when they get home after a day of hard work. Then, I will take their slippers for them. I cant cook, but I can always help my mather wash the dishes. I cant read that much words, but I can always fetch my father his glasses whenever he needs them. In the evening I will make beds for them before they go to sleep.

Among all means of transportation, I like bicycle most. It’s cheap as well

as popular.

There are many advantages to ride the bicycle. In the first place, riding

bicycle makes me feel independent. I can go anywhere by bicycle. Especially

during rush hours, I can still move freely. Secondly, using a bicycle is good

for environment protection, because it wont emit any waste gas. Moreover,

bicycle riding is also a good sport. While riding a bicycle, I can exercise

myself, which is healthful to me.

In my free time, I often ride my bicycle to get around in the downtown area

or in the countryside, so as to relax myself. Its really a nice outdoor

activity for me, I think.

Last years Spring Festival is special. My uncle and my aunt came back from

Shanghai. My family were very happy to spend the Spring Festival with them. And

it was the most exciting festival of all the festivals.

On New Years Eve，my father and my uncle talked about their work together.

My mum did some cooking with my aunt. Grandparents and I watched the New Year TV

programmes. At about six o’clock， we had a special family dinner. We all thought

the dumplings were delicious.

On the first day of the New Year， we visited our relatives. In the

afternoon，we went shopping in Jiefang Road. My uncle bought some Jays CDs. He

likes Jay’s music very much. There were so many people on the road. It was more

alive than any other time of a year.

On the second and the third days，we spent a wonderful weekend in the

country. There were much bigger trees than in the city. And the animals were

more beautiful than in the city. We all enjoyed ourselves.

去年的春节是特别的。我的叔叔和我的阿姨从上海回来。我的家人都很高兴与他们共度春节。,这是最令人兴奋的节日的节日。

“ABCDEFG……”自从我开始学英语起，我就特别厌烦英语，每当听到跟英语有关的字母或者是单词，就心想：“我是一名中国人，我为什么要学英语？英语好有什么用？我不一定会出国外，而且中国是我的家！”爱国之心是中国人必须拥有的品质精神，那时候，我总是觉得，我爱国，我不学英语！

可是，就是因为我从小有这样的心理，加上学校一个星期才两节英语课，我的英语只能勉强及格。自从转学后，我意识到了一些学英语的重要性，但是我并没有完全领悟，为什么中国人要学英语？我的语文和数学成绩在班上也算是优秀的，但是因为每次英语只有60到70分，庆幸的时候也就是80分左右，但是同学们的成绩，四分之一都是80分以上，虽然人数很少，就因为这样，我的英语成绩远远落后于一些同学，每次总分加起来，我顶多也是个第二名，这让我特别恼火，我没有去好好学习英语，而是更加厌烦英语，对于英语，只能用一个字形容——烦！

我尊敬老师，但是唯独不尊敬英语老师。这学期，新来了一名英语老师，我无所谓，心想：“教英语都不是中国人，都一样，一种人，我何必去理他。”我这种态度似乎被老师一眼就看出开了，老师从容地说：“同学们，说实话，你们喜不喜欢英语呢？”同学们哑口无言，“实话要实说，我知道你们都讨厌英语，成绩都是勉强提上来的，但只是以前你们死打死背单词，没掌握好方法。而且你们都有叛逆心理。”老师稍停了一会儿，说道：“也许你们以为学英语是觉得对不起国家、对不起父母，但是你们错了，你们知道吗？以前的英国统治了世界，即便是现在，连美国也比不上英国，如果你们想让中国的孩子不再学习英语，不是在这里叛逆，而是好好学习！要知道英语是主课，会加到总分里面，英语不好的同学，即便你语文数学再好，总分也是稍逊一筹……”

英语老师给我们讲了很多很多，基本上遇见某个同学不认真听讲、或者是不做作业，都会讲一些故事或者是道理，而我们就像听故事那样津津有味，这给我们很大的启示，我们也渐渐不厌烦英语了。

咦？这是什么？电饭煲吗？才不是呢！这是英语老师给我们带来的录音机~英语老师说：“你们不是一出生就会写字的，而是靠语言和交流才会说话写字的，英语也是一样，课前十分钟我让你们听一会儿磁带，但是，必须要安静，而且要去思考，我相信你们的成绩会挺高的，以为只要会说，渐渐的就会写。”老师还告诉我们：“听力占试卷很多分，所以要学好听力。而且，要把学习当作一种乐趣，而不是负担……”

英语老师从来不让我们默写单词，而是让我们背单词，一天背三到十个单词，我们觉得很轻松、也很快乐。老师要求我们快，还讲解了学好英语用速、效、雅三个要素(尊敬的老师对不起，我忘记了。)还讲解了这些代表什么，等等，很多很多，我们不知不觉喜欢上了英语。

英语老师很灵敏。一次出黑板报，由于一直没有画好灯笼，我就在英语课时不时地往黑板报看，可是我每次都是在老师转身写英语的时候才偷偷看的。“凌优！”英语老师突然的一声把我吓呆了，“你是不是再看后面还没有画好的灯笼？我宽恕了你好多次了……”我听着，脸羞红羞红的，不敢再回头看黑板报……

还有一次，我由于英语练习没错，老师就点名批评我，其实也不是批评，而是说读书不是为了父母和老师等道理。我很伤心，其实我不必去伤心，那只是英语而已，学不学好无所谓啊！但是我为什么这么伤心呢？
