During the winter holiday, I was very happy because of the Chinese new year and other reasons. During the holiday, my parents and I went back to my hometown in the countryside in Hebei Province. I had not come back for several years, so that I was so surprised to find that great changes had taken place in this small village in the past years. Almost every family in the village had color TV set and some of them had computers. Many families had their houses newly built or rebuilt. We all want the future to be better than the past. But the future can go

腊月三十，全家人欢聚一堂聚在一起吃饺子。晚上，全家人一起收看《春节联欢晚会》有些节目很好笑，让我笑得合不拢嘴。看到一半的时候，爸妈突然从房间走过来，手里拿着两个红包，看来是要给我和姐姐发红包了。我俩一人一个红包，虽然钱数不多，但是都是诚心诚意的，我们当然也不会嫌少了。我和姐姐都很喜欢过年，因为我们可以收到许多的红包，还可以全家人聚在一起。啊!真是个温馨幸福的节日啊!

大年初一至初六，是各家人拜年的日子。我随同爸爸妈妈一起去给亲戚们拜年，去了很多亲戚家，收到了很多压岁钱和糖果，我真的很开心。我想我收到的不仅仅是红包，更是长辈们给我的祝福与期望。

大年初七，我又进入了学习的阶段，我一定会努力学习，不辜负长辈对我的期望，感谢这个寒假，它是充实的、有意义的!
