I am highly disappointed in the proposed 2004-05 budget cuts to educa1ion. Taking away basic aid status and slashing our school budgets is a recipe for educational disaster in our school. The future lies with our children. They must have access to high quality educa1ion.

My husband and I have worked hard to be able to live in a school district that provides high quality education for our children. Cutting funding in districts like ours will have a negative impact on property values.

The school that my daughter attends is hardly wha1 I would describe as a "rich" school. Parents are asked to pay for books for all the classes, science supplies and for their students to participate in the performing arts among other items. If our school is to remain a world leader in technological development, cutting our school funds is the worst possible choice to make.

Education funds should not be diverted away from education.

首先，把扩大阅读量作为提高学生写作水平的重要手段。

语文老师应当教育学生明确向课外拓展的重要性，想方设法鼓励和指导学生广泛阅读。在课内，老师要敢于放手让学生自读，要充分相信自己的学生有能力读懂课文或课外书，让他们学会学习。在学生充分自读的基础上，老师再因势利导，适当点拨和引导，对学生进行美感熏陶、情感激发；同时，老师要积极鼓励和指导学生利用课余时间广泛阅读有益身心健康的各类图书。在学校图书馆藏书有限的情况下，要动员学生主动去买课外书，或开设班级小图书馆。在提倡“终身学习”、“学会学习”的今天，让学生学会看书无疑是非常值得推广的。只有这样，学生才会有丰富的知识积累，写作时才不会有“难为无米之炊”的难堪。

其次，从培养写作兴趣入手，把加大写作总量作为提高写作水平的根本。

兴趣是最好的老师。我国老一辈语文教育家对于激发学生的写作兴趣和动机有过大量精彩的论述。顺乎自然，让学生写自己平时喜欢写的东西，学生会乐于去写。我们农村有许多活动，像清明节上坟、钓龙虾等，城镇孩子就比不上农村孩子感受深刻，老师可引导学生就地取材。

要想写出好文章，就必须多动笔头，多动脑筋。至于怎么写，那就可以“八仙过海，各显神通”了。老师既要利用每周作文课时间让学生写一些贴近他们生活实际的作文，更要鼓励学生利用业余时间写随笔，还可以通过指导写日记，办手抄报、黑板报，向校刊和校外投稿等形式来练习写作，培养其写作兴趣。同时，对学生作文不可求全责备，要多鼓励，以免挫伤其写作积极性。

第三，鼓励学生多到广阔的社会生活中去汲取写作的不竭源泉。

农村是一个丰富多彩的大课堂，更是一部永远读不完的百科全书。尽管现在农村学生学习负担很重，很少有机会参加劳动，但星期天和寒暑假，还是有相当一部分时间可供自由支配的。每到养蚕季节，可以叫学生去帮父母采桑叶、喂蚕宝宝什么的；一到农忙时节，老师要建议家长们让他们的孩子参加力所能及的农业劳动，体会田间劳动的甘苦。当然，老师要善于引导学生注意观察事物，细心体会万事万物丰富而细致的情感，启发学生善于站在一草一木、一石一鸟的角度去思考问题，感受生活的真谛。这样，学生的思维就开阔了，想像力就丰富了，他们的创作欲望必定会增强，何愁写不出具有真情实感的文章呢？

第四，改革传统的批改方法。

按传统的过程模式组织教学，大多数老师在作文的批改上存在误区。其实作文批改的方式是多种多样的，或全班批，或轮流批；或教师批，或学生批……

作为语文老师，首先自己要转变观念，可以只给些引导和指点；该怎样改，让学生自己去考虑。其次，也要教育学生转变“我写你改”的旧观念，要使他们懂得：作文是难得“一次成功”的，好文章是靠改出来的；一个不懂改文章的人，将永远是一个作文的门外汉。

Last week, when I passed a clothes shop, I was attracted by the beautiful

dress, so I asked my mother to give me money to buy one. But she refused me and

said that I could collect some money by helping her to do little work. I agreed.

So I started to clean the house and the dishes. Sometimes washed my father’s

一、掌控课堂教学时间。

正所谓向40分钟要质量，一节课40分钟，一个正常人真正可以集中精力的只有20分钟左右。这也就是为什么老师在讲课的时候要突出重点的原因，也是现在课堂教学逐渐调整的原因。所以在设计教学预案时注意一些时间限制。连续长时间的学习很容易使学生产生厌烦情绪，我们应该注重设置在教学活动过程中对学生学习知识、形式能力和提高认识真正起作用的时间，并充分利用好这些时间。合理分配教师活动和学生活动在一堂课中的时间。教师不能一味地要求学生自主、合作、探究，都是在浪费课堂教学时间。

三、充分利用教学资源。

教师应要尽可能打破“一块黑板，一支粉笔，一张嘴巴”讲到底的落后状况，多利用现代教具。如小黑板、挂图、投影仪、多媒体等，这样既可节约板书，有关内容简介等课堂教学时间，又可让学生在单位时间内接受更多的信息，利于学生立体思维。其中教材上图文并茂的插图常是教师教学疏忽的一个地方，需要我们多加揣摩，多利用。可见重视教具及课本插图的作用，也不失为提高课堂效率的有效手段，更能体现学生主体学习的意识。

四、灵活运用课堂教学技巧。

在一般的教学中，教师就问题提问题，较直观，这不利于培养学生的创新思维，分析、综合等能力。而应该将问题从各个角度，各个层次分解成若干小问题，使每个问题既紧扣大题，又有一层的价值，学生通过对问题的思考回答中得到分析问题，综合问题的能力，引发学生的创新思维能力，锻炼了学生的创新思维，这样，学生的思维就越来越灵活，更富有创意，培养出时代的新人。

练习是数学课堂教学活动的重要组成部分，巧妙的课堂练习设计，成为提高课堂教学的有效性的一个重要环节。好的练习，是课堂教学的催化剂和兴奋剂，是促进学生全面、持续、和谐发展的重要途径。教师根据学生喜新、好奇、好强、好胜等特点，设计生动活泼、灵活多变的练习，在注重实效的同时，对练习的层次、方式科学安排，能让学生获得成功的体验，发展数学兴趣。设计练习时要考虑到儿童的心理特点，从新的练习形式、新的题型、新的要求出发，避免陈旧、呆板、单调重复的练习模式，保持练习的形式新颖，生动有趣。让学生做练习的主人，设计改错题;让学生当医生，设计判断题;让学生当法官，设计操作实验题，调动学生各个感官参与练习。也可以根据学生年龄和心理特点，从学生的生活经验出发，设计生动有趣、直观形象的数学练习，如运用猜谜语、讲故事、摘取智慧星、做游戏、直观演示、模拟表演、各类小竞赛等。这种游戏性、趣味性、竞赛性的练习，既能激发学生的求知欲望，培养学生做练习的兴趣，又能取得满意的练习效果，使学生在轻松、愉快的氛围中完成练习，在生动具体的情境中理解和认识数学知识，我们何乐而不为呢?

(2)练习的多样化。比如在计算上我们反对过度的练习，但熟能生巧，计算能力的培养离不开适度的练习，任何知识都需要在用的过程中逐渐被接受和内化。我们可以在练习形式多样性和趣味性方面下功夫，提高练习的操作性，做到教、学、做合一;在练习多样化上下功夫，增强练习的游戏性、挑战性和趣味性，寓学于乐。让多样化的练习吸引学生的主动参与，变以前的“要我练”为现在的“我喜欢练”，把练习过程变成小竞赛，挑战同学，挑战自己;把练习变成技巧的探索，我发现，我总结，我成功;把练习变成是小游戏，我游戏，我快乐，我喜欢。这样通过充分发挥学生主体的自主性，来巩固计算技能，学生的计算技能就在不知不觉中提高了。

练习的多样性可以从三个方面来设计：

1)准备性练习。为了缩短新旧知识之间的距离，促进知识的迁移，在学习新知识前，应根据新学知识所必要的基础以及学生的认知特点设计新课前的准备性练习。在学习“能被3整除数的特征”时，为了排除学生根据个位上的特征来判断一个数能不能被2、5整除的干扰，在学习前设计如下练习。下列哪些数能被3整除，哪些数不能被3整除?13、36、16、93、42、29、24、39使学生看到，个位上是3、6、9的数不一定能被3整除，个位上不是3、6、9的数也不一定不能被3整除，从而为学生建立新的认知结构做好准备。学习前的良好准备，把学生引入最佳的认知状态，再稍加点拨、诱发，便会水到渠成了。

2)探究要深入。对于小学阶段的学生来说，在学习知识的时候往往是直观的形象思维比较发达，而抽象的逻辑思维相对来说就比较的欠缺。所以学生对知识的理解和掌握往往是由浅入深、由易到难，并且需要通过大量的练习来加强。在进行新课学习的时候，教师应分层次的、有针对性的、一步步的进行引导、充分给学生思考、动脑的时间，让学生在自己原有知识水平的基础上进行不断的自我探究和自我解决问题，其中教师要适时的引导和提醒学生，不要让学生偏离了学习的轨道，学生在深入探究的过程中慢慢就能够把本节课的重难点突破。

3)练习要得法。在设计练习时就要针对学生的特点进行：①基本练习：基本练习要有明确的目的及极强的针对性，是对新的知识进行巩固，同时也是检验学生是否真正理解和掌握了某一项学习内容的有效方法和途径。主要针对的是计算方面的练习。例如低年级的加、减、乘、除的运算以及中高年级的分数、小数的加减乘除运算等。这些有关算理方面的练习可采用基本练习进行，在进行练习中可以采用多种形式进行。比如以进行辨别对错、争当学习的小榜样等形式进行练习，在练习中找到学生的不足以便及时有效的进行指正。②针对练习：主要是指针对性强的单项训练，围绕如何突破难点作文章。例如：在讲解人民币的认识之一部分的内容，由于一年级的学生对于人民币的认识比较的抽象，孩子对于有实物的教学比较容易理解，所以在进行完教学后要进行有针对性的练习。运用专项的练习能够让学生充分的理解重点，分散难点，有利于练习的有效性。在专项练习中第一道题学生可能没有很好的理解，但是在接下来的练习中学生根据上面的经验和总结能够很顺利的突破重难点，实现练习的有效解决这一学习目标。③口述性训练：通过学生用语言表达来说清算理，培养初步逻辑推理能力。例如在教学一般应用题时，用综合法或分析法讲解过后，可让学生说说每一步所表达的意思，试着让学生独立分析，如何从问题推算到条件，对数量间关系有一个完整的认识。④操作练习：通过画、剪、拼等操作手段，寓教育于实践中，既培养了动手能力，又发展了形象思维。在自己动手探索的过程中学生能够有很深的印象，为后面的面积公式的推出做了很好的实践基础。另外学生通过自己的动手操作、动手实践、动手探索能够比较牢固的掌握这个知识点，即使在以后出现了短时的遗忘，那么学生也能够根据自己的操作慢慢理顺过程，重新推出面积公式。这样学生就不是单单的死记硬背了，而是能够灵活变通的找到平行四边形的面积计算方法，而不再像以前那样公式如果忘记了那么什么都不会了。学生在进行有关的操作练习是就不怕忘记什么公式或者是定理了，只要自己慢慢动手操作就能够自己总结出相对应的法则或者是公式。

(3)练习的兴趣化。兴趣是一种对智力活动有重要影响的非智力因素。数学学习兴趣是培养孩子良好学习品质的有效途径，是实现有效数学学习活动的前提，是教育的人文精神的体现。兴趣作为一种自觉的动机，是对所从事活动具有创造性态度的重要条件，兴趣具有追求探索的倾向，良好的学习兴趣是学习活动的自觉动力。学生一旦有了数学兴趣，就会积极地去实践，这对能力的培养非常重要。练习要循序渐进，注意层次性练习要顺应学生的认识规律：要由浅入深、由易到难、由单一到复杂、由一般到特殊、由模仿到灵活运用的发展顺序去安排。由公式型到应用型，再到综合型。要有层次，有梯度，使学生从感性认识—熟练掌握—创造性运用，循序渐进，逐步加深。

通过一年的研究和具体实施，学生在练习习惯和思维训练方面得到了提高，我们在研究中也明确了课堂练习多元化实施方向，引导学生正确参与课堂练习，精心为学生设计了适合学生的多元化练习，提出了学生练习、思维训练、情感体验方面的各种建议，起到了较好的引领作用。同时，我们通过上研究课、讨论和设计课堂练习，并积极参与对课堂练习和学生的研究，撰写了很多有价值的论文，在各级各类的比赛中获奖或者发表。我们的老师在各级各类的教育教学比赛中屡获佳绩，每一次的成功经历都是基于我们平时扎实的研究。在研究过程中也曾遇到过很多问题，如：练习与反馈的问题，学生作业量的问题等等，但通过我们课题组的努力都得到了很好的解决。在以后的研究中，我们更要注意研究内容的针对性和实效性，合理安排每一次活动，让活动更有意义和价值，并积极总结和反各研究阶段的各种问题，以便我们更好地开展研究。
