Mother’s Day is a holiday when children honor their mothers with cards, gifts and flowers. One of the best ways to celebrate Mother’s Day is to give your mom the day off. Let her relax with the rest of the family doing all the housework. Presents and cards from the kids can be handed to mom by themselves or just placed on the dining table.

我认为英语成为我们学生的学习主科有其道理性和针对性的针对学生的发展未来。从对国家发展来看英语占全世界的国家讲的人数虽不是最多的，但却是分布的最广乏于国家的，包括很多的发达国家，中国学习这门语言对走出世界，同其他国家交流沟通发挥了很大的作用，如果取消这门沟通语言之门便少了日后中国发挥国际地位中的作用，众所周知，中国早已加入世界贸易组织，若贸然作出取消英语科目的决定，其进一步从长远地发展眼光看便可想而知。

作为学生，许多人的其他科目优势都能被英语这门科目好多了，但无论如何学好英语对学生的将来只有利大于弊，如果其他都学好只有英语差，对将来是不利的，要想睁大眼睛看世界，就得努力使自己插上翅膀飞出中国面对多样化，缤纷多彩的世界，到一个发达的地区闯出一片天，再把自己的国家发展好。

义务教育阶段时期在小学时便把语文，数学英语，这三门科目定为了主要学习科目，其实英语只要从小学基础打起，便觉得好学，多听，多说，脑海里会自然形成像语文那样会听，会说的一种能力。

老师是一本厚厚的书，里面有看不完的知识；老师是一把钥匙，为我们打开智慧的大门；老师是一艘船，带我们驶向成功之岸。我们班来了一位英语老师。他个子高高的，帅气的短发，乌黑的眉毛总会皱一下，大大的眼睛清澈得像两汪泉水，高挺的鼻梁，小麦色的皮肤构成了我们的英语老师。

他上课严肃，一丝不苟，回答同学问题时他耐心讲解。九月二日那天，当英语老师踏进门的那一刻，同学们个个坐好闭住了刚才还滔滔不绝的嘴。英语老师做了简单的自我介绍，就开始上课了。他一开口就把我给震住了，他说的真标准，一点也不逊色于外国人。由于老师教的太快了，我听得似懂非懂，其他同学也半懂半不懂。这一节课就这样稀里糊涂的上完了。我们的老师也很自恋。有一次他说：”你们用英文说我最喜欢的老师是英语老师。“我们就齐声说道：”My favorate teacher is my English teacher！“他笑开了花，说：”我知道你们最喜欢我！“怎样？我们的英语老师有意思吗？其实我们也真的很喜欢他！
