正在大家都吃得高兴的时候，爷爷突然提出了一个问题问我说：“我们为什么要吃年夜饭呢？”我听了后，目瞪口呆，不知如何回答。奶奶见我回答不出来，就笑着说了一个传说：“传说高阳氏有三个儿子，死后都变成了疫鬼。两个居住在江边，一个却住在人家屋内的角落里，专门在除夕夜里出来吓唬小孩子。由于火可以驱邪，人们便在除夕夜里燃烧炉火，再加上家人团聚，疫鬼就不敢出来惊扰小孩子了。还有，一家人一面吃年夜饭，一面闲话家常，每人都谈谈自己在外面所遇到的难忘的事情，让家人共同分享。“哦，原来吃年夜饭还有这种说法呢。”我高兴的拍手叫好。

我家的年夜饭一直吃到晚上八点钟，奶奶说：“中央电视台开始播放春节联欢晚会了，我祝大家兔年交好运，健康又快乐，下面大家一起去看春节联欢晚会。”

今年除夕，我们一家在温馨的气氛中，吃了一顿非常开心的年夜饭。

明天是假期的最后一天我要在家好好复习，因为快要期末考试了，不能让老师和爸爸妈妈失望我要考出一个好最好成绩来。

国庆的日子越来越远了，国庆的气味儿却越来越浓了。清晨我踏上跑道，发现有不少人和我一样，都是把国旗贴贴在脸上，随着呼吸时嘴的一张一合，国旗也在脸上飘舞着。

中午一家人正在吃饭。“咚咚，咚咚咚咚……”原来是烟花呀，它响了好一阵却怎样也表达不完对祖国的爱。午饭后，可以安心地休息了。正当睡意袭来，只听楼上的可爱的小宝宝又尖又高却一点儿也不利的叫声：“国——庆——快——乐——！”音调与响度兼备啊，这样想着，我笑了。

下午有一只鸽子在我家的窗台上歇脚，雪白的羽毛使腿上绑着的鲜红的国旗格外鲜艳，鸽子的主人真有心呐！

从《新闻联播》里才看到各地的国庆味儿比咱这儿浓多了，文艺表演、群众舞会……络绎不绝的，电视里的人仿佛上下嘴唇没有一点儿关联似的完全合不拢，要是把话筒给他呢，那激动的语言，那铿锵的语气是要把话筒都震碎。

关了电视机才听见窗外的风儿也唱起来了，“呼——呜——”那声音简直与《我和我的祖国》不相上下，一样激动人心。

70，这个几天来不知被谈论了多少遍的数字。新中国诞生了有70年，我生下来有十多年，这却是头一次深深地感到我与祖国是紧紧相连的，我读书不是为了我自己，不只是为了一个小家，而是为了中国这个大家！70年，祖国有了科技飞越，社会飞越，生活飞越，地位飞越。相信有了我们——这些朝气蓬勃的人儿，祖国会开启更大、更高的飞越！

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China -- and I would like to send my personal best wishes to the Chinese people and government and to the large Chinese community here in Britain.

今年是中华人民共和国建国六十周年，我在此谨向中国人民、人民以及英国的华人华侨献上我个人的衷心祝贺。

Since the 1970s, China’s reforms have brought more people out of poverty in a shorter time than in any other country in history – with profound effects not just for the one fifth of the world’s population who are Chinese but for us all.

自上世纪七十年代以来，中国的改革让更多人在短时间内脱离了贫困，比历史上任何其他国家所用的时间都要短。这一结果深刻影响到的不仅仅是占世界1/5比例的中国人，也包括我们所有人。

Today, the country that for centuries gave the world so many of its most important inventions and accounted for so much of its economic growth has been restored to its position as a great global power -- and your role in the global economy means that we in Britain have a deep interest in your continued stability, prosperity and success.

Built and strengthened through a policy of close dialogue and engagement, our relations today are the best that that they have ever been -- and I would like to give three examples of this.

Firstly, the global economy. I was particularly pleased to work closely with China’s leaders on the London summit earlier this year -- and China’s determination to take its rightful place in international economic governance was welcomed by all in the G20.

国庆节就要到了，今年的国庆节注定成为我终生难忘的一个节日。我们陇西小学今年的国庆升旗仪式交给我们****班主持。在班主任李老师严格的筛选下，我有幸被选上参加国庆升旗仪式，和其他同学在仪式上一起朗诵中华好少年。我心里感到非常的高兴。

回到家里，我和爸爸、妈妈一起分享这喜悦心情。高兴之余，我不由的暗下决心，好好准备台词，决不允许出差错，一定以最好的状态完成这次老师交给的任务，通时也做为我为祖国六十三华诞的献礼。

为了保证升旗仪式上我们朗诵不出错，我和张向宸、华孜妍抽出时间到隆福小区的草坪上反复的演练。只到满意为止。两个小时的时间我们配合的越来越完美，彼此间加深了友谊和信任。

庄严的时刻终于来到了，十月一日，一大早我就出了门往学校赶去。一路上到处洋溢着节日的气氛，五星红旗插满了沿街的商店，来来往往的汽车也帖着国旗的标志。大家共同庆祝着祖国的生日。

到了学校，我们在老师的带领下做好了升旗仪式的各项准备。操场上，列队站满了各个年级的同学和老师。站在主席台上，望着台下的同学和老师我心里感到无比的自豪。在庄严的国歌声中，升旗仪式开始了，望着冉冉升起的五星红旗我不由得心潮澎湃，伟大的祖国走过了六十二年的风雨历程，从无到有，从贫穷到富强，我为祖国的强大而感到骄傲。面对鲜艳的五星红旗我们举起了右手向国旗敬上我们少先队员最尊贵的队礼。

站在红旗下，我们满怀激情朗诵了《中华好少年》，并向国旗宣誓，我们是祖国的未来，为了祖国的明天永远长盛不衰，我们有责任、有义务、挑起振兴中华民族的重担。从现在起，要勤奋学习科学文化知识，做一个让父辈们可信任、可依靠、有能力的接班人。
