那天我们和老师第二次来到嘉定山，但这次我们不是来游览风光的，而是体验了另一个第一次。我们迎着石阶而上，发现山路右边树木葱葱，在这一丛绿中有一棵桃树，桃树和旁边的紫藤纵横交错，煞是好看。桃树的叶子绿油油的，再仔细一看，呵，竟然还有许多毛茸茸的桃子挂在枝叶间，像是许多青涩的小毛头愣愣地瞪着眼睛。这样的桃子没见过，不知好吃不?我们争先恐后地跳起来摘，但由于枝头太高，我们一个也没摘到。这时老师走上前来对我们说：“其实摘桃子也是需要工具的，看。”说罢，她像变魔术似的从背后拿出了一根登山杖，曾曾抢前一步拿到了它，举起它就向枝头的桃子打去，可桃子却像在树上生了根似的一动不动。这时啊力说：“用棍子把树枝勾下来摘不就行了。”真是个好主意，我采纳了他的意见，用登山杖柄将树枝慢慢勾下来，曾曾、啊力、凯麟他们蜂拥而上，将那枝上的桃子抢了一堆。换手时我也抢了一些胜利的果实。可是这时却发生了一个小小的意外——杖柄“脱臼”了，一截掉到了草丛里，另一截则随着枝头升上去了，曾曾一看急了，跳起来够却没够到，我个子高，够了两三次才将它够下来。将登山杖重新安装好后，又换凯麟勾树枝，我们手忙脚乱地一通忙乎，每个人都拿到了许多“战果”，满载而归了。

回家后，老师给我们每人洗了一个自己收获的“战果”，凯麟做了第一个“吃螃蟹”的人，他啃了几个大牙印留在上面，像是桃子天生就带的印记;啊力一口气将桃子啃了个精光，颇有几分八辈子没吃过桃子的感觉;曾曾因为心理作用，老觉得身上痒，只吃了一口桃子就放下了;我也咬了一口桃子，涩涩的，缺少水分，不甜不酸，真不怎么好吃。嗨!它本来就没熟啊!能好吃吗?但我觉得这个桃子的味道不一样是对的，因为它是我亲手摘的啊，我的体验、我的努力、我的汗水在里面呀!我不能因为它样子不美、味道不好而嫌弃它啊!

今年四月到六月，我参加了20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛。这可是全国性的比赛哦！必须要闯过海选、市赛和省赛三关，才能去北京参加中央电视台的总决赛。

参加市赛的早上，我和妈妈坐车到了目的地。当时，太阳特别大，天特别热，而且人山人海。我们到了之后赶紧报到，接着就排队去比赛了。因为我是最后一个，等了好久才轮到我，裁判先让我抽图，准备看图说话，再自我介绍。我觉得自己前两个环节表现得挺好的，最后是回答问题，这个环节有点难，四个题中我只答出两个。紧接着裁判宣布结果，我心想：肯定有我！肯定有我！结果，真的有我！我拿了市赛一等奖，进入了省赛。

省赛的准备过程是非常艰难的，又是背台词，又是准备自我介绍，还有模拟考试。仅仅是看图说话环节，一训练就是一上午……

终于迎来了省赛。我怀着紧张的心情走进赛场，里面很安静，选手们都在努力地背词，我也不甘示弱。自我介绍环节，我们都做得非常好，看图说话环节就比较惨了，得知成绩后，我的心情非常低落，爸爸妈妈安慰我，要我别泄气，要我在下午最后一个环节加油，还特意给我复习了几遍演讲内容，我的心情又明朗起来。下午的比赛开始了，轮到我上场了，我站在台上，信心十足地完成了演讲，最后的分数还不错哦！

我的20xx年“希望之星”英语风采大赛结束了，虽然我没有踏上国赛舞台，但是我虽败犹荣！这个过程中，我见识到了那些高手们的厉害！我一定要好好学习英语！我一定会回来的！明年再战！

我们院子里长着一棵桂花树，它树干粗糙，枝丫密集而坚固，总之外表显得很平凡。惟有到了秋天，它的风采才会与飘香的桂花一起绽放。
