我的老家在山东郓城，我已经好久没有回老家了。

回家的那条路我还是很熟悉的，坑坑洼洼，尘土飞扬，每次回家都晃得我头晕脑胀。村里的人们住着矮矮的砖房子，还有一些土房子。老家门前是一个沙土广场，我和姐姐喜欢在那个广场上玩沙土，抓上一把沙土用手一撒，沙土就在空中飞扬，此时的我们就像孙悟空腾云驾雾一般，沙土堆成了姐姐和我的游乐园。广场的对面有一个小型垃圾场，蚊子、苍蝇、嗡嗡地在身边飞着转圈。

今天，我回到老家，发现路面变成了宽阔的柏油马路，路边都种上了法国梧桐、挺拔的柏杨树，在绿色的树间，每隔几十米就放着一个穿着军绿色衣服的塑料大桶——垃圾桶，路上的纸屑、塑料袋也无影无踪了。

看，矮小的房子也不见了，变成了高大宽敞的楼房，还有很多别墅式的花园式洋房，可整齐漂亮了。奶奶家的房子也变了，家门口前的沙土“乐园”也变成了水泥地面，哈哈，这下好了，以后再也不会有很多泥巴粘在我的新鞋子上啦。

看到家乡的变化，目睹到家乡的繁荣，我心中不禁生出许多感慨：这一切都离不开党的好政策啊！

我现在还是一名小学生，不能为家乡为祖国的建设贡献什么，但我一定要好好学习，长大后报效祖国。我也相信，会有越来越多的小朋友们投入到祖国的建设中去，我们的生活未来会一片辉煌！

As my second year of high school life has come, I feel a little stressful,

Christmas as a grand festival of the west, in addition to the Christmas

我的家乡是一个故事的起源点，这个故事就是家喻户晓的——武松打虎。我的家乡就是清河，想到这儿，我就无比的自豪。

周天，我和爸爸回老家，到了清河界，就让我大开眼界，原来破旧的水泥路，现在已经修成了沥青大马路，路两旁还安装了护栏。路边长满野草的荒凉之地，现在成了一眼望不到边的葡萄园。

到了我们村里，村中坑坑洼洼的土路也成了水泥路，之前破旧的平房都变成了三层小高楼，路旁种满了树。道路两旁随意排放的污水沟，都改成了污水管道，环境舒适，干净，和从前比，简直是天壤之别。

我走到家里，看见之前的破旧木门已经换成了大铁门，家里装修的漂漂亮亮，比城市里人家一点也不差。家中院子里停着一辆爷爷买的三轮电动车，他老人家没事的时候可以去赶集散心。

我刚走进屋里，爷爷就招呼给我讲了一个故事，说：“之前我们这闹水患，每年都提心吊胆，人们日子总过不安稳，这些年，县政府为我们这修了一条水沟，用来排水用，再也不用担心闹水灾了，这日子也就过着舒心了。”

我听了之后，为爷爷感到高兴，为我们的家乡感到高兴，家乡的变化真大！

In recent years ninny cities are faced with the problem of heavy traffic.

People have to waste more time on their way home or to work and even might be

involved in an acci dent. With the development of industry and population

expansion, this problem becomes more and more serious.

One solution is to lay down more roads. The solution has many advantages.

For ex ample, it can efficiently decrease the number of buses and trucks in many

main streets. But it will take up so much land that crowded cities become more

crowded. Another solu tion is to open up more bus lines. If more bus lines

should be opened up,the number of bicles and cars in the main streets would be

greatly decreased. But the disadvantage of this solution is that many people

wouldn’t feel so convenient os they used to.

In my opinion, the right solution to the problem is the combination of the

two, thatis, to lay down more roads in spacious areas and to open up more bus

lines in downtown.

二十年前我们的家乡美丽极啦！

高高的小山坡上长满了高大、粗壮的苹果树，树上结满了香甜可口的果子，地上长着青青的小草，有些村民都带着自己家的孩子上来玩儿，那些孩子可淘气啦，光跑来跑去，跑累了歇一会儿，歇完了接着跑，那些黄牛可强壮了，感觉都能一棵树撞到似的，从上往下看，简直比城里还美，原来村民让它更美。

春节一首《常回家看看》，唱出了多少游子的思乡之情！每当哼起这首歌，长期在外的我就潸然泪下。国庆到了，我终于可以回到魂牵梦绕的家乡了。

Last week, my friends asked me to spend the weekend in the house that near

the lake. It is one of my friends’ house, where their families often spend the

holiday together. Though the house was not big, the environment around was

really beautiful. In the daytime, we walked around the lake and appreciated the

beauty of nature. At night, we made some food and barbecued. It was such a happy

time that we sung and danced. We talked about our future thoughts. Before we

went to bed, we watched movies together and discussed the plot. This is the most

wonderful moment for us. We share our happiness and have no annoyance.

When I was very young, my grandma was often ill. She often went to see the

doctor. But it could not help her to get well. That was a problem. So I wanted

to be a doctor to let my grandma be healthy.

Now Im 15 years old. Im studying in Wangcun Middle School in Jiangshan.

My favourite person is Florence Nightingale. She is a famous nurse. And I like

Henrry Norman Bethune,too. Im sure I can be a famous doctor like them when I

grow up.

I will be 20 years old. Im going to work in a big and famous hospital.

Then when I am 30 ,Ill have a hospital of my own. So I can help more people

like my grandma get well all over the world. Im sure I will,believe me!

The Laba Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday celebrated on the eighth day of the twelfth month of the lunar Chinese calendar. "La" is the name given to the 12th lunar month and 8 is pronounced as "ba" in Chinese, which translated is "Laba." There are several legends about the origin of this festivity and we could not tell which one is true. But what we know today is that this festival started as a sacrificial offering to ancestors. It was also a time for the ancient Chinese to pray to heaven and earth that there would be a bountiful harvest. Many people hoped for good luck as well for the coming year.

Traditionally, the Laba rice porridge is the most important element of the festival. Generally, the porridge contains eight ingredients which can include glutinous rice, red beans, millet, Chinese sorghum, peas, dried lotus seeds and some other ingredients, such as dried dates, chestnut meat, walnut meat, almond, peanut, etc. The porridge must be boiled for many hours and then offered as a sacrifice to the ancestors. This must be done before noontime. Also, it is tradition that family members eat the porridge together. Then they leave some as a symbol of hope for a good harvest the coming year.

昔日，我的家乡坐落在广东省一个偏远的小山村，通往县城的只有一条泥巴单行道，每到赶集的时候，经常可以看到车的“长龙”，通往各家各户的也只有晴天“尘扬面”，雨天“和稀泥”的泥巴路。村民们居住环境大多是瓦房，若风大点，随时有坍塌的危险。

自从国家开展新农村建设工作以来，我的家乡也在发生了翻天覆地的变化。

如今，原本坑坑洼洼、尘土飞扬的泥巴单行道，俨然换成了宽阔的水泥路，道路两旁栽满了花草树木，上学再也不用担心鞋子会面目全非了；村口也设有专门的垃圾屋，村民也自觉把垃圾分类丢弃，田野里的垃圾也减少了，处处呈现一派“天苍苍，野茫茫，风吹草低见牛羊”的好风光；家家户户都有摩托车，人们再也不用辛辛苦苦背着自己的农作物到县城去交易了；昔日的瓦房已不复存在，一栋栋崭新的楼房如雨后春笋般从村庄各个角落冒起，院一到晚上，大家出行再也不像往常那样麻烦，因为道路两旁都安装了路灯照明，构成了一幅亮丽祥和的乡村静夜图。村里也特别注重环境绿化，村口也专门设立垃圾屋，人们也提高了垃圾分类意识。前屋后都栽满了四季常青的风景树，五彩缤纷的花草，闲暇之余，邻里间都会在树荫下聊家常，孩子们在一旁欢快玩耍，无不体现幸福祥和的氛围！谁能说这不是我们祖国强大而带来的幸福生活呢？

我想，不仅是我的家乡在变化，祖国的每一个地方都在变化变强大，只有祖国好，我们的生活才会越来越美好！

When I was in primary school, my mother sent me to learn ballet, like other

mothers, she hoped me to act like a princess, but I was not interested in

dancing, so I quit the class. Later my mother tried to send me to learn singing,

but I had no talent in it. When my mother’s friends were talking, they were so

proud of their children, because they had the talent in dancing and singing. I

felt a little loss, I must find my own talent and learn some skills. I found I

was very interested in painting, now I have learned it for four years, my

teacher speak highly of me.

我的家乡在农村，那是一个十分偏远、普通的村庄。过去，因为那里人少，所以政府也不太在意。那里的人们，日复一日过着清贫的生活。在我的记忆里，家乡总是那个样子。

家乡的马路不再是坑坑洼洼，用水泥铺成的马路和路边的石砖，旁边的路灯也换上了新衣服；走进房屋，精致的铁门，一对夹丝玻璃窗，墙壁用油漆覆盖，崭新的电风扇放在床边边，地上也不再是杂七杂八，全部用时砖和水泥铺成，政府也会定期发给村民们一些钱。还有下水道十分整洁，也会安排人定期清理。

这就是我的家乡，一个温馨的家乡，一个生气蓬勃的家乡！

移民到美国的姑姑回国探亲，想看看家乡的变化，我自告奋勇当她的小导游。

我先带姑姑来到新城区，只见那里道路宽阔、四通八达，高楼大厦鳞次栉比，蔚为壮观，新建小区干净整洁，环境优美，现代化大都市的气息扑面而来。进入新城区规划馆，当姑姑看到徐州未来的发展蓝图时，不禁感叹到：“徐州的发展真是日新月异，没有你这个小向导带着，我都不敢相信这是徐州了！”

接着，我打算带姑姑去小南湖景区。姑姑说：“我知道那儿，以前那里不是一块块杂草丛生的荒地水塘吗？”我微微一笑：“姑姑，我先卖个关子，到了地方您再评价。”到了小南湖景区，只见风景如画、游人如织。湖边桃红柳绿分外美丽。游客有放风筝的，有拍照的，还有散步的，大家都深深地陶醉在湖光山色之中。我们行走在湖心岛上，看竹林飒飒，曲径通幽，看一池碧水，温婉秀美，感觉像游走在画中一样……姑姑惊诧不已，连连说：“真是没想到，昔日的泥水潭摇身一变，变成了胜似仙境的人间天堂啊！”

几天下来，姑姑游览了徐州的风景，品尝了徐州的美食，感受了徐州人的豪爽与热情，她由衷地说：“徐州真是越变越美了！”听了这话，我感到很自豪，我为我是一名徐州人而自豪，我爱我的家乡，更爱我的祖国。

My hometown, a village locating beside a small river, is a wonderful place

with beautiful scenery surrounded. Because of the poor geographical environment

and without an asphalt road, the whole village is poor and people’s lives are

tough. Generally, people grow rice and some other crops for a living. Most young

people work at the city, leaving their parents and children at home, which is

the status of the vast majority of rural area. It seems that only in this way

can rural people live a better life.

光阴似箭，日月如梭。转眼间二十年过去了，所以我趁着假期回故乡看一看。

我开着爱车回到家乡——宋祁。展现在我眼前的早以不是那高低不平的房屋，而是一排排整齐有美观的小别墅，每栋门前都有一片片绿色的草坪和鲜花，小蜜蜂正在辛勤地酿造蜜糖，美丽的花蝴蝶在花丛中翩翩起舞，悠闲自在。小路也由磕磕绊绊变成平整的宽大的大路。房屋里的空调早已不知所踪，因为房子里的玻璃能自动调节温度，室内冬暖夏凉。

村子的北边改成了一块生态湿地，那里河水清澈见底，鱼儿嬉戏玩耍。里面有一片花海，那里花香四溢，花儿争奇斗艳吸引着五湖四海的游客来观光赏景。我走在鹅卵石的小路上，呼吸着新鲜空气，听着鸟儿欢快的叫声。之前那绿油油的小树，现在已经变成了一棵棵苍翠茂盛的大树。突然间又一个熟悉的身影映入我眼帘，她是我小时候的朋友，现在已经是一位特级教师。

我们聊着天，不知不觉中来到曾经的学校，如今的学校教学楼宽敞明亮。操场上有许多学生在欢快的玩耍，有的在追逐打闹，有的在跳绳，有的在跑步。还有那教室里郎朗的读书声。看到这幅画面不经想起自己小时候的模样。走进教室，整齐桌椅排列着，每张桌子上多有一台笔记本电脑，她告诉我现在都是用电脑交作业。黑板上有两个按钮，一个黑色和一个红色，老师只要按下红色按钮对折黑板说话，就会显示出来，按下黑色按钮就会清除。

很快假期结束，我依依不舍的离开家乡回到工作岗位。我爱我的家乡，希望家乡越来越好。

记得几年前，我和爸爸妈妈回到故乡，那里故乡的路是泥路，沆沆洼洼，每到下雨的时候，路就变得脏兮兮的，到处是垃圾，路的两旁都没有垃圾桶。每当夜幕降临人们外出的时候，都会拿着手电筒，爷爷奶奶住的还是茅草屋呢，台风来临时，都会把爸爸奶奶的茅草屋刮倒。小河里的鱼都死了，水面还有许多垃圾袋，臭死人了，秋天到来时，人们拿着镰刀弯着腰在收割……

这次回家，过去的路变成了宽阔的水泥大路，路的两旁现在有了许多的垃圾筒，还有了路灯。爸爸奶奶们的房屋地变成了高楼大厦，小河鱼虾成群，鱼儿们又有了清澈的家园。人们都不用镰刀收割稻子了，用的是收割机，人们在空地上建了一个广场，每天吃完饭，一有空闲就会到那里唱歌、跳舞、下棋等等。

短短的几年里，家乡发生了如此惊人的变化，我更爱我的家乡了。

妈妈的家乡在榆次区什贴镇龙白村。这里近几年来新农村建设的发展，人们的生活逐渐好了起来，有了翻天覆地的变化。

听妈妈讲：过去的龙白村人们生活水平很差。一条条坑坑洼洼的土路，还不到一米宽，十分难走，一到下雨天，这路就更难走了，变得泥泞不堪，一个个小泥坑占了大半条路。到亲戚家做客，发现大家都住的是土窑洞，而且家里要什么没什么，大家吃的都是粗粮，玉米面窝窝头……

国庆小长假妈妈要带我回龙白村，我一听，又联想到妈妈对我讲的那些事情，态度坚决的说了声“不”，但又拗不过大人，只好硬着头皮跟有了180o的大颠覆：首先映入我眼帘的是一座高大雄伟的门楼，一条整洁、干净的柏油路通到村里，顺着这条路一直走，就到了文化广场，这里有许多健身器材，一群可爱的小朋友在上面嬉戏玩耍，他们的笑声让整个广场沉浸在快乐之中，早晚还可以看到老年人在这里高高兴兴的跳广场舞，扭秧歌，人们脸上写满了喜悦和快乐。再向前走，卫生所坐落在村委会旁边，这里的医生医术精湛，妙手回春。为了方便人们开病，诊所一天24小时营业。每当节假日，村委会里的农家书屋也人满为随他们去了。但一到龙白村，它在我的脑海中患，去的晚了，你想要借阅的书就没有了。这里有各种类型的书籍，可以让你增加各方面的知识。

再看人们的住房已不再是破旧的土窑洞了，而是换成了清一色的瓦房，有的人家甚至建起了小二楼，到了亲戚家再看看家里，液晶电视、电脑、空调……现代化电器应有尽有，院子里还停上了小汽车。你再瞧园子里黄瓜、豆角、芹菜都是绿色无公害蔬菜，苹果高兴地乐红了脸，梨儿换上了美丽的黄纱裙，小葡萄披上紫袍来凑热闹，石榴妹妹看到这丰收的景象，也笑的咧开了嘴。

这就是我的家乡，新时代，新农村，新面貌！

The night of November 12th, 2010 was indeed a glorious night for our Chines, because the Opening Ceremony of Asian Games was held on Haixinsha Island in Guangzhou. Over 7000 people took part in it.

All of the performances were impressive, but the most interesting one was Sail on Cloud. During that programme, 180 performers were hung in the air to dance. How wonderful it was! Every audience burst out praise. I couldn’t help shouting. But it was a pity that I just watched it from TV. How I wish I were there!
