首先介绍一下教材，我们五年级英语是跟三、四年级英语教材相衔接的，也是和我们的初中英语相配套的。按照《英语新课程》标准，五年级英语是国家二级的起始阶段，也是英语学习的重要阶段。如果我们有心的家长仔细看的话，会发现我们英语书的词汇量与语法都较四年级有很大的提高，而且还出现了语篇教学，这也对我们五年级学生提出了更高的要求。如果你以前的英语没有学好，那相对来说，你现在学得比较累；同样地，如果你现在不学好英语，那将来的英语学习也是不难想象的。

其次我想讲一下班级学习情况。其实在座的家长对自己子女的情况比我更加清楚。他们都是在同一起跑线上起跑的，但经过几年来的学习，学生与学生之间已经拉开了差距。一些好的学生学习兴趣浓，学习劲头足，课堂上积极思维，踊跃发言，课后及时巩固，形成了良性循环的好势头。他们的学习习惯好，在听、说、读、写方面都能齐头并进，我为他们感到欣慰。可也有一些学生，平时学习马虎，基础不扎实，导致他们现在课上听讲出现困难，关键还不努力，书面作业拖拉不交，口头作业根本不完成，如此一来，学习自然成了件头痛事。其实，我们班大部分的学生还是处于中上等层次，尽管他们平时不需要老师操太多的心，费太大的力，但是说起各方面的表现，又总有一丝遗憾，因为我们总希望他们能够再上一个台阶。

再次我想讲一下这次的期中考试的情况。五年级三个班的情况都差不多。我们学生主要的失分在两个方面，一是听力部分，这是需要我们今后多做多练的，另外一个方面是阅读理解，学生做得也不好，因为有些题目不是可以直接从文中找出的，需要他们去分析理解，他们这一方面的能力还有待加强，他们的基础知识在此次练习中表现尚可。

有位教育家曾说过：只有学校教育而没有家庭教育，或者只有家庭教育而没有学校教育，都不能完成培养人这一及其艰巨而复杂的任务。所以在英语学习上，我们的家长也起到了很重要的作用，下面我给在座的家长提一些辅导孩子学习英语的建议：

（1）让孩子多听录音 按照眼前利益来看，我们的升学考试也一年比一年注重听力、阅读等需要综合能力的部分。像我们五年级的英语，每次考试均要占40分。我每天都会布置听录音的作业，希望各位家长能及时检查您孩子的听力情况并签字。

（2）每天检查孩子的回家作业是否完成，保证第二天能按时上交。检查时不要只问一下有没有做，也请你亲自看一看，家长还可以看看单词有没有抄错，题目有没有做错之类的。

（3）有时我会布置学生回去背诵英语单词，并自己默写。这时家长可以在家帮助学生默写，你可以报中文，让他默英文。并签上你的名字（注明默写），因为有的学生让他默一遍其实也就是抄一遍交差，一点效果也没有。

（4）督促孩子预习、复习。这是一项很必要也很重要的任务。所以，家长的首要任务是及时督促孩子复习当天学习的内容，提前预习下一堂课的学习任务。主要形式就是跟录音机大声读英语单词、句子、对话、短文等。英语和母语不同，没有学习的氛围和环境，必须“曲不离口”地反复诵读，才会记得牢。

总而言之，家长的重视会让学生增加信心，提高学生的学习积极性。与其在期末时看到大家都不愿看到的不理想的分数，还不如在平时就多关心孩子学习的过程。还希望家校携手共同提高孩子们的英语学习水平。我要讲的就是这些，谢谢大家。

Thirdly, perhaps you’re alsolooking for a student which can entertain the

class and makeEnglish classes more interesting (a class clown). Then I

recommendLeo, he jokes all day long, has a great sense of humor and

crazyimagination. But he isn’t a classic good student, so perhapssometimes

you’ll get a bit annoyed.

resources in terms of opportunities to participate in sports, especially given

that the number of students on campus is increasing every year.

people. If they have access to quality sports facilities, young people are able

to choose a healthier lifestyle, to boost self-esteem and confidence, and to

My proposal is to build a new sports area. It should be designed with
