在西餐厅要让服务员带领我们到我们的座位，入座以后，服务员送上菜单让我们点菜，看着菜单，我就迷惑了，西餐的菜单和中餐完全不同，有前菜、汤、主菜、甜点等，这我到底怎么选择呢？妈妈看出了我的疑惑，她对服务员说：“就给他来一块牛排吧！”她自己点了一份三文鱼。服务员微笑地问我们：“请问牛排要几分熟的？”我被问住了。迷惑不解地问妈妈：“什么叫几分熟？”妈妈告诉我：“这是煎牛排的生熟程度，一般有是不是有‘全生’、‘三分熟’、‘五分熟’、‘七分熟’和‘全熟’”。“那就五分熟的吧！”我和妈妈异口同声地说。点好后服务员还把一张特别大的纸垫在我身上。我挺纳闷地想：为什么要把这么大的餐巾纸垫在我身上呢？过了一会儿，牛排上来了，我才知道原来这张“餐巾纸”的作用是为了不让我吃牛排的时候把汁水溅在身上啊！我在妈妈的指导下左手拿叉，右手拿刀，笨拙地切下一快块牛排放入嘴里，细细地品尝着。牛排又香又嫩，好吃极了！我越吃越带劲，很快牛排“消失”了，都到了我的肚子里去了！我又吃了一些甜点，喝了点汤，吃得我的肚子像一个气球一样，鼓鼓的都快爆炸啦！

回家路上妈妈还跟我讲了很多吃西餐的礼仪，比如进餐时不能大声说话，更不能狼吞虎咽，不能“吧唧嘴”，吃完以后怎么摆放刀叉表示对餐点的满意程度等等。原来吃西餐有这么多学问哪！吃西餐真有趣！

我以前听说在小学3年级的时候要学英语。我想啊，我又不去英国，干什么学英语啊?现在，我要学英语了，我听老师和爸爸妈妈说，英语是全球的通用语言，学好了才能和外国的友人交流沟通。我重视英语了，并决心要学好它。今天就是我的第一次英语课，我是既紧张又兴奋。

上课时，老师给我们说：“需要购买录音机和磁带作为辅助工具。”回到家里我就急忙给爸爸妈妈说了需要录音机和磁带的事情。妈妈告诉我：“辅助工具很重要，但是上课专心听讲更加重要。现在我们去买吧。”

录音机和磁带买回来了，妈妈告诉我怎么使用。我就打开录音机开始听起来了：先背着书听一遍，然后背着书跟读一遍，最后我看着书跟读一遍。现在该我关了录音机读课文了，我一看课文，呀，我只能勉强用英语说出课文中人物的名字，其他的就不知道怎么读了。这可把我急坏了，恨不得把书给撕了。妈妈安慰我说：“不要着急，事情需要一步一步的来完成，着急是没有用的。我们换个方式来练习一下?”妈妈和我就象课文里的人物一样来对话，介绍自己的名字和打招呼。几遍下来，我发觉我渐渐可以完全读课文了，这个方法真不错!

读完了课文，该听写了。我先看看单词表吧，哇!有的单词字母好多，我得好好记清楚，字母少的就看一遍。开始听写了，糟糕，我只顾去记字母多的单词，字母少的反而没有记住。不管了，这些不知道的单词胡编乱造也要写完。由于刚才一着急，字母多的单词也忘记了一些，只好空在那里了，最后错了不少。第二次也好不到哪里去。第三次了，妈妈说，再不全对的话，就把每个单词抄写一篇。这次我一定要认真记牢，反复在心里默写几遍，做到万无一失，要不然，罚抄每个单词一篇可不是好玩的。这次我满怀信心了，当然也全部正确了。

今天，我初次接触英语，也是经历了一些曲折吧。从中我也体会到，学习不同的东西需要用不同的方式去对待，但是，有一点少不了，那就是刻苦!

每个人都有自己的第一次，我也不例外。每当看到别人吃着流行于世的辣条时，我就会想起我第一次吃辣条的情景。

那是三年级的事了。周末表哥来我家玩。看见他的口袋鼓鼓的，我好奇地问他：“口袋里装着什么宝贝呀？”他神秘兮兮地说：“这是现在流行的辣条，可好吃了！”接着他又大方地说：“我们一起来吃吧。”说完他把一包辣条拿出来，那辣条包装花花绿绿，上面写着“菲力牛排”，牛排？这不是辣条吗？我非常好奇，表哥指了指下面的一个小小的“素”字，“哦——”我恍然大悟，白高兴了一场。

包装被打开了，一股说不出的香味扑鼻而来，似乎在勾引我去吃，我忍不住了，拿起一条红红的辣条放入嘴中。

“哇哇！麻——辣——鲜——香——妙不可言！”我忍不住大喊了一声。一股甜辣的味道在我口腔中徘徊，香味不断刺激着我的味蕾，我吃了一根又一根。接着，这令人回味无穷的辣条在嘴里，就不只是咸味了，“辣！辣！辣！”我的喉咙像着了火似的，一个劲地吐着舌头，头上也冒出了豆大的汗珠，“水！水！水！”我辣得都要透不过气来，幸好我表哥一把把水灌进了我的嘴里，我才换得了一口气，等我缓过来时辣条已经被吃完了，再看看表哥，他的的嘴巴也红得如两条大香肠，挂在嘴前。“好辣，好爽！”我深深地被这味道吸引了，“再来一包！”我非常好奇这个辣条是用什么做的呢？为什么那么香？我拿起包装袋看到上面有密密麻麻的配料：“山梨酸钾、脱氢乙酸钠、阿斯巴甜、姜黄、三氯蔗糖、甜蜜素、纽甜、安赛蜜……”其中2/3都是添加剂，还有许多对身体有害的添加剂。“妈呀！”我吓了一跳，隐隐感到一阵肚子疼，原来辣条虽然好吃，但是对我们人体有害呀。

一天之后我看到了一则新闻，有三个男孩吃辣条被吃成了肠胃炎，还做了手术，我感到了非常后怕。

垃圾食品虽然好吃，但是吃多了对人类有害，还是劝同学们少吃这种食品，多吃绿色食品。

每一个人都有自己的第一次，因为人生从第一次开始。第一次带给你的感觉也许是紧张的，也许是兴奋的，也许是新奇的……我也曾经经历过许许多多的第一次，它们都在我的脑海里留下了深刻的印象。上了中学以后，我就面临了一次“第一次”，它，或许是我对自己的一次挑战吧。

上中学后的第二天，我成为了英语科代表。我以为当一个英语科代表很容易，可是， 我却没有想到。星期三的时候，是英语的早读课。老师叫我上去领早读。啊，小学的时候我是从来没领过早读的呀！我的心情一下由平淡变成了紧张。我拿着英语书忐忑不安的走上了讲台。同学们的眼睛都看着我，我觉得我的眼前突然出现了一个高不可攀的山峰，可是，我必须去战胜！我极力使自己镇定下来，可是我的双脚却不由自主地开始了颤抖……“请大家把英语书拿出来翻到第一页。”我终于说出了一句话。

可是大家都不听我的指挥，看来，我不拿出点威力那是不可以的，可是我根本就不怎么认识同学们呀。我把老师的直尺重重的一敲，用我最大的声音吼了出来：“把英语书拿出来！”这威力一下把全班同学都震住了。于是我便叫他们翻到了第一页。“Good morning Helen，”“Hi,Bob。”我不知道怎么的慢慢就进入了状态，开始读了起来。虽然我会读后面的那些“Whats this in English? ”可是有些人就不会读，全班同学都乱成了一团。“老师还没教到那里呢！”“就是嘛我们朗个（怎么）会读？”我一下子不知道该读什么了。我看看毛欢鑫，她却对着我傻笑。哎呀，怎么办？我突然想到了单词表，管它的，要读就一口气读完。“请大家把书翻到19页。”大家都用奇怪的眼神看着我，哎，难道又不会读？反正总有一个人会吧。我便开始领读，把后面的颜色单词也读了。当时我们才上三天学没有学后面的内容，同学们都像呆瓜一样神戳戳地盯着我。这样他们总也会跟着学到起，可是当我读到“color,color”的时候，该他们自己读了，只有青阳洋跟着我读，我突然觉得特别的尴尬。

我跑下讲台问我的同学（另外一个科代表）“朗个办喃？（怎么办呢）”他居然说你是负责早读的关我什么事情。哎，真是的，我硬着头皮继续读吧。后来我索性让他们继续读课文，只读到“Good afternoon”就算了。我反复让他们读，一边不停的看手表，时间啊时间你过快一点吧，我快受不了了！！！！这纯粹是一场难打的持久战，难道我要一直这么下去啊？那我的光辉形象不就完全毁灭了。但是我却不知道怎么办！读课文就读课文，读的滚瓜烂熟那才好！我终于找到了一个理由来安慰自己了。于是，我又整理了一下自己，继续领着他们反复地读着单词，“Good morning Helen，”“Hi,Bob。”
