Last Saturday--April 28th, my classmates and I went to the park near my school. Can you guess what we did there?Not for amusement but to take part in a volunteer labour.

最后出去娱乐这件事只好不了了之。虽然说，孩子有些不开心，但考虑到钱的现实问题，孩子的那点小不开心好像完全可以忽略不计。

后来想想，娱乐成本对于我们小老百姓来说，还是有些太过高了。但小包间得爆满，也告诉了我们，有钱人确实也不少。

This August I went to a two-week long English camp which was held by English Beacon in Yantai city Shandong Province. There were over a hundred middle school students from all over the country and thirty experts in English teaching participating in this exciting camp.

While we were there it was required that we speak only English to our teachers and with each other. There were many activities which were funny and helped us to strengthen our oral English skills such as the Second Annual National Debate for Middle School Studentsthe Third National English Speech Competition for Middle School Students and English parties. We also visited many places of interest. Learning English was exciting and the teachers were very friendly and helpful. This camp was a real life-changing experience that I will never forget.

Last weekend, I took part in the school trip and went to HouHai lake. It not only made us relax but also brought happiness to us.

We took the bus to the lake. As soon as we arrived there, we climbed the drum tower and looked at the whole city and many hutong. Then we took a little boat to ride on the lakewhich is the most beautiful lake I have ever seen, meanwhile, we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the great sunshine. After rowing boats, we went into an alleyway nearby to visit a local family. Talking with them about their life and learning to make Chinese dumplings brought us lots of fun. Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.
