The Great Wall of China, also known in China as the Great Wall of 10,000, is an ancient Chinese fortification built from the end of the 14th century until the beginning of the 17th century, during the Ming Dynasty, in order to protect China from raids by the Mongols and Turkic tribes. The first major wall was built during the reign of the First Emperor, the main emperor of the short-lived Qin dynasty. This wall was not constructed as a single endeavor, but rather was created by the joining of several regional walls built by the Warring States. It was located much further north than the current Great Wall, and very little remains of it. A defensive wall on the northern border was built and maintained by several dynasties at different times in Chinese history. The Great Wall that can still be seen today was built during the Ming Dynasty, on a much larger scale and with longer lasting materials (solid stone used for the sides and the top of the Wall) than any wall that had been built before. The primary purpose of the wall was not to keep out people, who could scale the wall, but to insure that semi-nomadic people on the outside of the wall could not cross with their horses or return easily with stolen property.

在这硕果累累的十月，我们迎接来了七年级的第一次月考。

说实话，我非常紧张，但是总复习后觉得不是很难，就这样，怀着忐忑不安的心情结束了这次月考。

可是，当数学成绩发下来的时候，我大吃一惊，面对我的是一个又一个刺眼的红叉叉。74分，这个醒目的数字呆呆的站在那里，简直就是晴天霹雳。我又拿起试卷，那些平常简单的易题全都做错了，要不就是结果算错了，要不就是题目看错了，要不就粗枝大叶把易题看成难题了，这种种的原因都是不小心的失误造成的。总之，这门数学终究是失败的落花流水。

我满以为理科我不太行，文科应该会考得蛮好，可终究还是事与愿违了。

语文，本应该是我的强项，可这次不知怎的，就连最爱的语文也跟我作对，考了个82分，我把试卷重新分析了几遍，主要的错的错在阅读和作文上，这许我心灰意冷，我的作文也一直是“冲锋”，可是没想到作文竟然扣了10分，十分啊，打破记录了......阅读其实蛮简单的，也就是因为我太骄傲自大了，总感觉每门都能考的非常好......这两门都被打了个落花流水。看来只能指望英语了。

应该说，我的英语成绩一直是班上前五的，这次都被排到十多名去了，90，不该错的地方错了，不该错的地方还是错了，本来可以......没办法，全都没考好。

从小，我父母就教育我，谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后，这几个字不就正好说的是我吗?骄傲，没有一点虚荣心。我把试卷拿给父母看，他们那失望的表情，我永远都不会忘记，虽然他们口头上没说，但我明白，我父母一直把希望寄托在我身上，我觉得非常对不起他们，我暗暗下定决心，成绩一定要提上去。当然，口头上说的不代表什么，所以，我决定采取相应的措施。上课认真听，下课复习好老师传授的知识，俗话说，温故而知新，说的一点都没错;遇到不懂的难题可以大胆去问老师，不必顾忌什么;每天都可以做些课外的练习题，看些课外书，可以丰富自己的课余生活。

我打算在期末考试的时候加起来排到全班前十名。我要的是成绩的提升并不是退步;我要的是满满的喜悦并不是忧伤;我要的是同学之间真正的友情、信任并不是对我的某种阿谀奉承。

所以我，期中一定要考好。加油、努力，吃得苦中苦，方为人上人。

知道各科的分数后，什么也说不出来，只知道，成绩就像一场大暴雨，哗哗的直线下降。

总的来说，这次月考的成绩不是很理想，很多科目都在走下坡路。

其中一个原因是因为国庆放假太过于放松，没有把各科复习的时间安排好。在政治和历史上花的时间相对来讲会比较多，虽然相比较上学期期末有进步，但还是没有达到最理想的成绩，可见效率并不高。

还有一个原因就是出现在语、数、英、物、化上，基础还不够扎实，课后没有及时巩固，课外的积累也不够多，没有意识到自己的散漫和无知，对于这些需要大量做题的学科，总是抱有偷懒心理。以至于成绩一直提高不上去。

各个科目的试卷上有很多被扣分的题目是因为没有认真思考或者一时粗心大意，当然也有一些类似于“填图答题卡时填错选项”之类的低级错误。虽然考场上的状态很重要，但是决定成绩的关键还是在平时课堂以及课后及时的掌握与巩固，才不至于在考试的前几天才来临时抱佛脚。

因此，采取的措施：

1、对各科的试卷进行分析，查缺补漏;

2、将自己期中考试的各科的目标写出来贴在书桌上;

3、制定学习计划，合理规划每天的学习时间，每天的学习任务都按照计划进行，不使自己手忙脚乱，没有方向和目标;

4、不懂的题目要及时解决不要遗留;

5、在书桌前写上能督促自己学习的警句，在想要放松，抬起头时能第一眼看到，警醒自己。

这个世界非常公平，你在放松的时候，别人在耕耘。可如今，他们在收获，而你只能望洋兴叹!这一次的月考警醒我了：不要在需要刻苦的时候选择逃避!

我平时不上课不认真，这次月考数学竟然还到90，为此,我想出了几个办法.1)在做题前,时刻要记得还有个"";2)解答题时,不要急于下笔,要先在草稿纸上列出这道题的主要步骤,然后按照步骤一步步做下来,不忽略每一个细节,尽量把每一道题都答得完整漂亮;3)平时多做一些不同类型的题,这样就会对大多数题型熟悉,拿到试卷心中就有把握;4)适当做一些计算方面的练习,让自己不在计算方面失分.我想如果我能做到我以上提到的这几眯,我一定能把考试中的失误降到最低.因此,我一定会尽力做到以上几点的.

但我想仅靠以上几点还是不够的,我还就该拥有几点科学应试技巧.于是,我根据我自己的实际情况想出了几点.第一点:拿到考卷后,应把考卷整体审视一遍,看一看哪些题比较容易,哪些题比较难.第二点:先从简单的题做起,把那些好拿的分数全部拿过来.第三点:如果有选择题不会,乱蒙也要写上一个.因为如果你写了你就有的机会,总比没有机会好.第四点:遇到难题,实在写不出来的话,就过.不要死死地盯着那道题,而忽略了别的题.第五点:考完后,认真地检查,看看自己有没有把题目看错或抄错.

在下一次考试中,我一定会尽自己最大的努力做到最好.

学习是自己的事，在短暂而漫长的人生中，必定会留下一个又一个脚印。每一次的考试，都是一个个深深的脚印。

我们都要反思。只有这样，才能进步、成长。反思会让我们认识到自己的不足，从而改正这些缺点。期中考试过了，我也该进行反思了。

这次的考试，班里以及年级的人，都有很多掉了下来。可是，为什么有一些人一直保持着自己优秀的成绩，而不落下来，原因有很多：一是稳，只有稳住心态，办事才不会失败，在考试以前，我们都太浮躁了，老师的言行根本就是耳旁风;二是细，细致观察事物，看清他的思路，不管是易错的还是不易错的都要细致做，细会使我们成功;三是练，在我们玩的时间，优秀的学生都在学习，不停地练题目，达到了题型一看就知道的那种境界。做到这些，再加上上课认真学习，上课从不走神，那当让就不会落下来。

我这次考试，考得并不好，既没有达到老师的期望，也没有搞定我的目标。我总是抱有侥幸的心理，总是以为考试前复习复习就行了，上课认真听听就行了的这种心理，以至于我考试的失利。段老师说的很对：“考试是为了错题，找出自己的不足，从而改正!”如果只是为了考试，获得好成绩，从来不改错，哪就永远也不知道自己的问题所在，每一次考试都会在那丢分。

如果说学习是鱼，好的学习方法便是水，没有好的学习方法，就算现在学习再好，将来也会掉下去。

好的方法才是硬道理。

刚刚经过了惊心动魄的月考，发挥的不是太好，考出来的成绩可以说是非常不好，以前至少也到过 100-200 的，现在考的这么差，还真有点不适应(让给我好好静一静)。太打击人了，回家告诉其他人，竟然有人不相信，唉!

有谁同情我?没有，有谁可怜我?没有。唉，毕竟这成绩也是我自己考的，现在我宣布我要好好反思。

数学这次可谓是非常不理想，往日单元考试满分 100 的至少也有 85 分，满分 120 的至少也有 100 分 ，这次竟然考了 …… 如此不理想的成绩。以后应该好好学习天天向上了，能把综合的知识点融合起来，保证不在综合考试上丢分，还有就是只是上课好听讲是不行的，再提一点俗的，一定要好好复习，这点我亲身试验过。虽然这次考差了，不过我相信，我一定可以在下次的考试中发挥出真正的高水平，赶紧买份资料，好好做做，不是为了加分，而是要更强。

语文和英语，除了语文有点发挥失常之外还好英语倒是没出什么大乱子。这考试太折磨人了。

成绩发下来吧，本来就挺失落的，回家再被父母唠叨唠叨，上课在被老师在“金榜”上提提名，丢人伤自尊，唉!也不抱怨了，以后好好学习就是了。

期盼已久的月考已经结束，所有人的心里仿佛都放下了一块石头，如释重负，但在这喘息的瞬间，又有谁曾在这片刻的停息中反思自己在此次考试乃至过去的一个月里有怎样的收获，又有怎样的遗失呢？

考试结束后，整体的感觉并没有给予我太多的自信，我并不认为自己考得很好。这便反映了一个很严重的问题，考前并没有复习得十分到位，导致考试一结束之后便底气不足。心里无底，心态也有很大一部分关系。能否在接下来的学习过程中克服此次考试带来的一些心态上的问题至关重要。

考试过程中，也存在大小不等的一些问题，考试过程中并没有完全静下心来，没有克服粗心，更没有克服浮躁，考试过程中有大量的时间被浪费，考试时间的安排都是有一定依据或者规律可循的，考试时间并不是希望你到点写完。可以说更多的时间是留给检查甚至从头再来一遍的，所以考试时能否克服粗心、浮躁，始终保持放松的警觉状态是很有必要的。考试是检查近日里学习状况的，目的是将能力范围内的都做对，并不是门门保证满分，那也许是不切合实际的。

考试已经过去，回首过去的一个月，学习并不像想象的那样苦不堪言，学习是一种培养能力的方式，我还有许许多多方面需要改进，也还有许多方面需要保持。这样的任务是眼下必行的。克服粗心、切忌浮躁、保持状态、继续努力。放松的警觉状态才是学习和考试的最佳状态。

I enjoy singing very much. While singing, my heart as well as my body is joyful. When Im happy, I often sing out to share my happiness with others. I also sing out to pour out my bad feelings when Im upset.

I like pop music most, because I want to follow the trend. I prefer soft music to rock music. Since we may be very tired after a long days work, we need a rest very much. 一年一度的月考又结束了，在本次考试中成绩很不理想，原因很多，为了能取得更大的成绩，需要总结经验教训，为此就期中考试的情况作以简单分析：

一、学生方面：

1．史实不清，是致命的弱点。

2．部分学生态度不端正。或不重视，或认为历史很好学，不过背背而已，就是落下也能很快赶得上。

3．解题技巧的欠缺。表现在如何从四个选项中找出最佳项，提高正确率；如何审好题，做到紧密结合题目要求作答；如何合理安排卷面，尽量多得分等等。

4．看书不细。未能听进老师的忠言相告，一相情愿地以为这儿不考，那儿不考，存在侥幸心理，结果遭受沉重一击。

5．不会读书。学生习惯了把一节教材从头念到尾，而较少注意抓住历史发展的脉搏，体味历史事件之间的联系，领略历史的博大与精深。

6．学生自主学习能力差，奴隶性强，不肯下工夫，主动去背去记极性差，这是成绩不理想的最主要原因，八年级是中学生两极分化最严重的时期，好学生可以考90分左右，而差生只能考20分左右，差距太大。

二、其他方面：

1. 本次考试试题出的偏难，题量大涉及范围较广。

2. 期中考试前时间紧，内容多，期中复习时间少，这也是考试成绩不好的一个原因。

针对上述原因，在今后我应努力做到：

1．课堂上老师的授课对社会知识的讲解要透彻，观点要明确，点评要到位。不能出现是是而非，模棱两可的情况。

2．单元测试和课堂练习要围绕教材，难易得当，切不可脱离学生的实际。

3．学生的课堂讨论或合作学习，课前要作深入调研，要充分把握好这个“度”。

4．根据教学进度和学校的实际情况，结合教材尽可能多安排一些理论联系实际的社会实践活动。

5．对学生课堂听课、讨论、回答问题等的评价要客观公正，不可盲目表扬和一味的说好。

另外对老师教给学生一些学习方法和复习方法也很重要：

1．每一节课布置给学生具体的内容，然后小组抽背，课代表抽背，之后串联知识体系，使有个完整的历史概念。

2．统一思想，强化基础训练；摆事实，讲道理，明了历史学习的重要性。请一些在历史学科成绩有突飞猛进的同学介绍学习经验，明白历史成绩的提高并不是高不可攀。

3．教给学生读书和思考问题的方法；习题讲评不只是知识的再现，更关键的是技巧的提升；合理安排课堂，体现主体知识，重视结构体系；重视能力的提高。

4．多搜集材料。运用多种教学手段，课上调动学生的多种感官，使对本科内容产生浓厚的兴趣。

5．课下多和其他学生进行沟通，倾听学生的心声，接近学生之间的距离，这样有助于教学工作的顺利进行。

总之，通过本次考试，我认识到自己还存在许多问题和不足之处，在新的教育形式下新课程、新教材、新理念，教育、教学的实际体验是全新的，而实践经验还相当有限，还有待于长期不断的探索和努力，从而在今后求发展。

本次考试虽已结束，但更艰巨的任务还在后面，我将加倍努力争取期末考试

在英语考试之前，看看宿舍里的人，大家似乎都有一些无法控制的忧愁，似乎对于英语考试难以接受，只不过只是期末考试是不得不接受的任务!

不过经过两个小时左右的紧张考试之后，我们几个人突然之间释放自己了，有一些东西就是这样，例如期末考试，开始考试之前总是担心成绩，可是一旦考试结束，所有的问题一下子都没有了，事情已经是定局了，即使是再伤心也无法改变!

我的舍友开始看视频了，今天是鹿鼎记更新的日子，还有一些其他的电视剧，估计现在早就已经更新出来了，所以在考试之后我们就需要恢复平常的生活，看看电视剧消磨时间，似乎没有经历过考试一样，只不过没有经历和已经经历过一样!

英语对于太多人而言太难了，我就是其中一个人，其他人也一样，所以在考试之前不得不担心自己的成绩，只不过现在担心也没有什么意思了，所以还不如放松下来，因为接下来还有其他科目考试，所以我们不能把伤心留给后面!

With the development of industry, water pollution is becoming more serious now. The polluted water not only kills fish, it is also harmful to our health. Many people get sick because they drink the polluted water. In some rivers the water is so dirty that they can even kill plants.

We should fight against the pollution. We should stop using harmful things. I wish it is not a dream that in the near future we can have clean rivers again.

Environment Protection

Nowadays, peoples life has changed a lot with the development of modern technology and economy, which has put lots of negative effects on the environment.

Why this? Because, firstly, some factories are pouring wastes into rivers, lakes, seas and so forth; secondly, because of human activities, a great number of plants and animals are losing their lives; thirdly, using modern machines and chemicals is bad for the environment. Besides these, there are a lot of human activities which have done or are doing harm to our surroundings.

For this, I think, first, our government should make drastic measures to regulate human activities; second, we human beings should take pains-taking work to stop ourselves destroying the environment and try our best to protect our living space more.

Forest Pretention保护森林

Our country has a large area of forest. However, not until recently did the government begin to realize the importance of protecting the forest. As we may know from various sources, the government recently adopted a policy called "restore the farmland to the forest"(退耕还林).This has brought much hope to the forest of our country as well as the sustainable development of our country.

Pollution: a Social Problem

When we read newspapers, we often come across the word pollution. This word was not familiar to the people some decades ago. But now, it is a serious threat to usbecause. it means the poisoning of the air, seas, rivers and lands, which would do harm to our health.

There are many factories that bring pollution to us. We can not have fresh air in the morning. This is mainly because of the poisonous smoke coming from factories, especially chemical ones. In rivers, seas and oceans, there are industrial wastes. Some factories just throw their wastes into seas or let them flow into rivers. When people drink the water from such rivers, they get poisoned. Besides, there is rubbish from ships and when sometimes an accident occurs in an ocean, oil flows out from tankers.

On land, the accumulation of rubbish in the streets may dirty the city and ruin our health. This is mainly due to the improper disposal of rubbish by people.

If we do mot fight against pollution, surely one day all of us will be killed. Some people like to put the blame on the industrial revolutions. On the contrary, the pollution problem will be solved only with the help of modem science and technology.

谦虚使人进步，骄傲使人落后--题记

一次失败不代表永远都会失败，一次成功也不能代表永远都能成功。像幸运这种东西不可能伴随着你一生一世，在人生的旅途中，人难免会遇到挫折，坎坷，也难免会在这些挫折与坎坷之中失去信心。比如一次失败会让你失去信心;月考失利会让你失去信心;遇到让你想破脑袋也想不出的事情也会让你失去信心。那么，在失落过后的你会不会有那么一丝丝的不甘，有没有一种想要再考一次的冲动呢?

上一次的期中考试是我考的最差的一次，虽然题目是比第一次的难度系数要高，但是最主要的问题还是考试前并没有复习，做题时粗心大意，不够细心，并且昨晚以后并没有检查，和考完以后的洋洋得意!

之前我对自己的成绩一直都满意，觉得自己已经非常的优秀了，并不需要努力，所以考试之前我都从不复习，在别人努力复习埋头苦干的时候，我却在玩乐，甚至还大言不惭的要和同学比试，因为那个人的学习底子不如我的那么足，所以我就对他说，以25分为界限，多余25分，我赢，少于25分，他赢。当初立下这个约定的时候，我承认，我是有压力的，但是我的自信心让我觉得他不可能考过我，那怕是25分的差距。但是，现实就是这样，就是这么的残酷。在试卷发下来的那一刻，我傻眼了，因为只有一科是及格的，但及格的那一科也在及格线的怀抱中徘徊，那个与我比试的那个人与我相差了15分，我感觉到非常的失落。

那一刻，我明白了，那所谓的自信不过是自负罢了，当初的洋洋得意在现实的面前就是那么的不可一击。在我努力的时候，别人也在努力，在我松懈的时候，别人还在努力，那么别人与我的差距就这样一点一点的拉近了。这一次事例就好比是龟兔赛跑的故事一样，你不努力，总有一天是会被别人给追上的。

又快到月考了。

经过这一段时间的反思，我又重新找回了信心，因为我明白‘虚心使人进步，骄傲使人落后’的这个道理。希望在下一次的考试中，我能够更上一层楼!

月考过去了，迎来的是七天长假，可我总是打不起精神，日日夜夜都在思念着我那宝贝试卷。就是这个家伙害得我总是“抬头望明月，低头思试卷”。终于，漫长的七天过去了，而我的心情也变得越发的紧张、激动。星期天，我怀着忐忑不安的心情来到学校。我打开课本，一边无聊地翻着书，一边却在不停地望着讲台上，看有没有试卷。

可是这天卷子并没有发下来，弄得我心中的石头总掉不下去，过了两天多老师都没有提月考的事，就在星期三晚上数学和英语卷子发了下来，我数学考了99，英语考了96，我开始洋洋得意了，我在快乐中度过了一天。就在星期四晚上第二节自习上课前，有传言说月考的语文成绩出来了，我默默为自己祈祷着：千万别考砸了，千万别考砸了。“叮铃铃……”随着一阵死板的铃声，班主任:赵老师迈着轻盈的步伐走进教室，他的手上拿着一叠卷子，原来吵声不断的教室立刻变得安静下来，静得就连掉下一根针的声音都能够听见。

然而此时，我的心里仿佛钻进了一只活蹦乱跳的兔子一般，“怦怦”跳个不停。紧接着，老师开始发语文试卷了，随后教室里也有了同学们的议论声。我向四周的同学望了望：发到试卷的同学，有的愁眉苦脸，有的眉开眼笑;没有发到试卷的同学，有的交头接耳，东张西望，有的满脸紧张，焦急不已……看到这些，我更是心乱如麻。“小明，69.5分。”什么?69.5分?我没有听错吧?我用力地捏了一下我的手心，“天啊，是真的，我得了69.5分!”我的心破碎了。

我拖着长长的步子走上讲台取回试卷。这时，我早已崩溃，原本以为可以考80分左右的语文，竟然考了69.5分，数学竟比语文高了30分。

放学以后，我回到寝室，连忙把这个坏消息打电话汇报给妈妈，妈妈没有说什么让我早点休息，我躺在床上，望着天花板，只觉得脑子一片混乱。这一切都是那么的突然。我下定决心，一定要把语文成绩提高上去。

It is because of the demonstration of students in December 9th, 1935. Under the leadership and organization of China Communist Party and leadership, Peiping Students Federation leading the students in Peiping city, which was more than 6000 held demonstrations. The students shouted the slogans of “overthrow Japanese imperialism,” "stop the civil war, and close ranks". Their demonstration resulted in a new upsurge of nation-wide Anti-Japanese Democratic Movement. In order to memorize this student movement, the United Nations made December 9th as World Football Day in 1978.

如今，足球已经成为最受人们欢迎的娱乐体育运动之一。在日常生活中，从小孩到大人有空的时候都会踢踢足球。它可以帮助人们放松，获得健康。但却没多少人知道每年的十二月九日的特别意义。这一天是世界足球日。这是源于1935年12月9日的学生游行。在中国共产党的组织和领导下，北平市学生联合会率领北平市6000多名学生举行示威游行。学生们高呼“打倒日本帝国主义”，“停止内战，一致对外”等口号。他们的示威引起了了全国人民抗日民主运动的新高潮。为了纪念此次学生运动，联合国于1978年把12月9日定为世界足球日。
