Mr. Louis is my Chinese teacher. She was of medium height, slender, with two eyebrows on her lanky face, a pair of squinting eyes, and a pair of pink glasses on her high nose, about thirty years old. Her speech was vivid and vivid in class, her tone was cadenced and her emotions were real. People are kind and strict.

I remember that it was one of the things that happened early on, and I came to the school early in the morning and put my exercise books on the table, and I happily picked up the Chinese book and read aloud the text aloud.

After about a quarter of an hour or so, Mr. Louis walked into the classroom with a smile on his face, went up to the lectern, took out the red pen and handed the students the homework. After more than ten books, I found that the teachers face gradually changed from sunny to cloudy, and some of my classmates workbooks were taken to the stage. My favorite holiday is New Year. It is a very important festival in Chinese culture. In fact, its the highlight of the year. Everyone returns home for a family reunion. We have a big feast and chat about all the things that have happened in our lives. People also visit each other. We exchange gifts and good wishes for the next year.

我最喜欢的节日是新年。在中国文化中，新年是一个非常重要的节日。事实上，它是一年中最好的（日子）。每个人都回家与家人团聚。我们有一个比较大的盛会并且（与他人）畅聊所有发生在我们生活中的事。人们总是互相拜访。我们交换礼物和来年的祝福。

New Year is especially fun for kids. Thats because we get

presents and treats, including red envelopes filled with money. But we never forget that this holiday is a time to give thanks. We feel grateful for our family and the things that we have. Finally, we think about the future and the great year ahead. 对孩子来说，新年是一个特别快乐（的日子）。因为我们可以得到礼物和乐趣，这其中就包括红包。但我们从未忘记新年是一个给予（他人）感恩的日子。我们对家人以及拥有的事物感恩。最后，我们考虑未来和美好的新一年。

春节是中国人最重要的节日，而且不同地域的春节有不同的风俗。北方有大秧歌、送渔灯；南方有赛龙舟、包汤圆。今年，我去了江苏过年，体验到了南方的春节习俗。

我们开车来到江苏时已经天黑了，站在街上极目远眺，你会发现每一处都张灯结彩、五光十色。路灯上装饰着一串串坠着中国结的大红灯笼；街道中心有一座龙虾雕塑，它满脸带笑地将两只大钳靠在一起，给每一位来到江苏的人拜年。

一到奶奶家，院子里的哈士奇兴高采烈地对我们摇头摆尾，迎接我们的到来。年夜饭上桌了，除了大鱼大肉之外，还摆着几大碗奶奶做的白的、黄的、粉的汤圆。看来，过年南方吃汤圆，北方吃饺子，果然没错啊！汤圆里面包有各种寓意吉祥的馅料：花生、芝麻、松子、杏仁还有一些干果类食品，虽然在北方长大的我很是吃不惯，但在这浓浓的春节气氛中，吃什么都是团圆、幸福的味道。

晚饭后，我们一起放鞭炮。爸爸拿着烟花去了外面，我们捂着耳朵，站在门口等待烟花的盛开。只听“嘭”的一声巨响，一朵绚丽的烟花升入了天空，白烟飘散开来，这时仰望天空，你会发现彩色的天空非常精彩，远方的烟花与星空融为一体，星光灿烂，美不胜收。我们在院子里欢呼着，跳跃着……

除夕夜晚，热闹非凡，我们放完鞭炮回来围炉看春晚，欢声笑语中春晚结束了，但是春节的气氛却没有消散。

大年初头一天，我们换上新衣服去拜年。作为孩子的我，会收到各种美味的糖果和饱含祝福的红包，真是无比幸福啊！

春节是我最喜欢的节日，既快乐又幸福，因为这是我们一家人难得团聚的时刻。我已经迫不及待地期待2019年春节的到来了。

中国有不少传统节日，有清明、端午、中秋等，不过我最喜欢的还是春节。

春节是一个辞旧迎新的节日。它是一年的终结，人们辛辛 苦苦工作了一年，停下来享受获得的硕果，庆贺取得的成就。孩子们又长大了一岁。同时它也是新一年的开始，人们满怀着期待展望未来。家家户户都贴春联。大街小巷挂着红灯，鞭炮声不绝于耳，喜厌的红色在眼前闪耀。人们个个喜笑颜开，到处都有欢声笑语。

最开心的那天是大年三十。爸爸带着姐姐和我拎着大包小包的烟花来到楼下。楼下的爆竹声早就震耳欲聋了——“咻——啪啪啪啪啪”趁姐还在观赏烟花，我偷偷从盒子里拉出一根“着地响”，扔向姐旁边的空地“啪！”姐姐就像一只受到惊吓的雪兔蹦了起来，她想：我今天要好好教训这个小兔崽子。于是便不示弱从包里抓了一把“着地响”向我还击，我很轻松的一跑，一跳便闪开了，笑着对姐姐说：“你这叫万事俱备，只欠东风”。我们带的烟花还剩很多，有“超级无敌火箭炮”，有“仙女散花”，还有“双龙出洞”，我拿起一支“超级无敌火箭炮”点燃了就往天上放；姐姐把“仙女散花”摆在地上，点燃了就捂着耳朵向我跑来，还没来得及跑几步，“仙女散花”就已经开始“噼哩啪啦”了；爸爸舞着“双龙出洞”笑得合不拢嘴。

过年的味道真好，我真想天天过大年。
