I am proud of being a college student. I like my college life as it is so wonderful time in my youth. As being born in small village of the remote countryside, I didnt have a good education environment. However, I set a goal and felt confident to be a college student. I was farewell warmly by them when I came to school. I was warmly welcome by school, too. When weekends come, everyone is happy about that, because they don’t need

to work and can do what they want. Some people will choose to stay at home and

watch TV all the time, some will choose to go shopping, while for me, I’d like

在乡里的初中，我学习挺好的，当时是老师认为满有把握考入重点高中的学生之一，但是由于我打心眼里讨厌学习，最后冲刺的两个月，我基本上是处于逃学、不听课的状态。所以我高中差了五分未被录取，当我知道这个消息的时候，我不知道何去何从、也没有方向，完全丧失了逃学时候的英勇、反判的劲头，整个暑假我都被夹裹在训斥声中，基本上劳改了一个暑假，接受了各种各样的体力劳动的惩罚，站在酷暑的田地里，大人问：“还想不想上学。”我心里想着赶快逃离这种苦役，我违心的、毫无底气的说：“想。”

结果我上一中的时候，别人已经上了一个星期了，当时我和十几个同学被安排在最后两排，当时的感觉是名不正、言不顺的，就像在单位里临时工的感觉，总是觉得低人一等。还有原来在乡里，大家都穿得土里土气的，也没觉着自己和人家有什么两样，可是到了城里，那女孩美得跟花似的，自己连个绿叶都算不上，本来就易于敏感的我，更是缄默不言了，自卑时刻咬噬着自己的心，那就甭提学习了，考上重点的本来都是好学生，我在这一群佼佼者中成为了垫底者。我就这样挣扎着度过了高一和高二。

在这期间还有一件事需要提一下，那就是退学。由于客观与主观的原因，我每天都想着退学，反正我在学校也跟不上课，家里人还辛苦的种地挣钱供我读书，上学已经没什么希望了，还不如回家帮家里挣钱，这不是一举两得的事吗?尤其是听到老师每次都苦口婆心的说：“一定要好好学习，你们能坐在这里安静的上课、学习，都是你们父母用赚的血汗钱供你们读书。”不听这句话还好，一听这句话尤如万箭穿心，更加坚定了我退学的念头。于是我骑着我的大轮自行车，载着我的箱子，回家了。回到家，什么也不用说，我妈就明白了，我想当时我妈的心沉到了底，粉碎性的痛苦，她望着自己的孩子，不知是哭还是怒，我低着头一声不吭，两腿软绵绵的，因为我一看到劳累的她，我就又开始怀疑自己做的是否对。我妈终究还是劝我回去，她说：“快点回去吧，你爸晚上回到家，要是看到你不上学了，他还不知道怎么打你呢。”我妈说到点子上了，我最恐惧的是我爸，他的歇斯底里的训话，不由分说的打人，还有最恶毒的语言诋毁，会把我整个人毁灭掉，我想我会死在他手里。一想起他来，我浑身都会发抖，我的胆小、懦弱促使我又回去了，回到了这所只有读书、背书、做练习题的地方。

In high school, Chinese students study very hard to fight for the future

初中生活是在老师无时无刻的伴随下进行的，但是到了高中就不一样了。因为九年义务教育已经宣告结束。没人会在意你日后怎么样，此时此刻努力不努力。更多的东西是跟利益相关了。但是现在我只想说我的高中第一任同桌，两颗虎牙是这女孩子最大的特征，头发是标准的短发，皮肤稍黑一点，笑起来酒窝很明显。刚开始坐在一起的时候，我个人感觉这女孩子有点脾气大。我的预感没错脾气确实很大，动不动就跟人吵架。相比而言我们坐在一起的感觉我像是女生她是男生。因为经过初中阶段我的言语谈吐很少了，更多的是看看别人说什么，思考他们是什么样的人。我跟同桌起初聊天不是很多，就是平常没事的时候随便聊聊天开个玩笑。我的初中同学曾经说过我是个“情种”。经历了一个学年，我们需要换同桌所以我们俩要“分开”了。其实当时我就发现她有点喜欢我了，这不是猜测，因为她大声的在班里跟我表白过。也不能说是表白就跟我说话有点肉麻了。她这样一来班级所有人都觉得我们在谈恋爱了。不满各位说我自己也有点动心了，日久生情是真的。所以我们还是有过短暂的恋爱关系，跟初中相比胆子大了我还吻过她呢。之后被班任发现回家待了几天呢。至此我妈妈已经知道了的第二位跟我谈恋爱的女孩儿了。

Often, with split second tinting, they must dodge trees, stumps, and rocks——or find themselves suddenly sprawling in the snow. If they have more than average skill, they can sall through the air in breathtaking leaps and jumps that bring excitement to the onlookers as well. True, there is danger in this excitement,but that is a risk the youth enjoys. Furthermore, skiing is healthful.

It provides exercise, often very strenuous as the skiers trudge up a mountain path or work their way on skis up a slope of deep snow. The best of skiers know that they need strong muscles to successfully control their skis, so they exercise to keep themselves physically fit. Another desirable feature is the companionship that usually develops wherever skiers gather. Friendships grow quickly on the slopes and in the usual nearby shelter where the skiers find food, warmth, and rest. Their experiences of the day and their youthfulness easily draw these people together in happy fellowship.

眼下，科技越来越来发达，人们逐渐进入了信息时代。现在就让我来介绍“信息时代”标志性的物品之一——手机。手机的外型小巧玲珑，很轻便。它的功能可不少，能发信息、拍照、查日历、上网、录像?其中功劳最大的，也是最常用的就是快速的发信息和通话了。要想在古代，人们见一次面，传递个消息，都得用上几天或更长的时间。还有写信，你在东城，我在西城，从东城送一封信给我，有时要十天半月甚至几个月的时间。多漫长的等待呀！

可是，自从有了手机，生活就改变了。有紧急情况，不用急，只要发一条信息，也就几秒的时间对方就收到了。要在哪里碰个面，只要打个电话就行。多快捷呀！让我们节省少了许多富贵的时间。当然，手机并不代表所有科技。现在的因特网呀，人造通讯卫星呀等等都让人类的生活更加舒适，更加便捷。总之科技让我们的生活改变了很多。

During the coming winter vacation, I’m going to Beijing for a tour. As I

have never been to Beijing before, I’d like you to be my guide. I hope you can

show me around the Great Wall, the Summer Palace and some other places of
