Books are our teachers. They teach us troth, science, literature, and philosophy of life. Besides, they increase our knowledge, enlarge our experience,strengthen our character and do many other things which we can not do without them.

Books tell us what is good and what is evil. And only books can tell the good from the bad.

Therefore to read more books is the best policy for our young students.

读书的价值

人们常说金子和银子是世界上最有价值的东西，但我不这样认为。在我看来，读书比任何其他事情更有价值。

“开卷有益”清楚地告诉了我们读书有多好。

书是我们的朋友。它们向我们介绍不同种类的知识，它指导我们沿着成功之路前行。

书是我们的老师。它们教我们真理、科学、文学和生活的哲理，同时它们增加了我们的知识，扩大了我们的视野，增强了我们的个性，使我们还做了在没有书的情况下绝不可能完成的其他事情。

书能让我们明辨是非，并且只有书才能让我们吸取反面教训。

因此，读更多的书是我们青少年学生的明智之举。

今天，阳光明媚。我和爸爸妈妈带着愉悦的心情，去动物园参观参观。

趁着早上人流量小，动物们活动量大，我们早早的就来到了动物园。我们先来到猴子区，看，一些小猴子正倒挂在树上“荡秋千”，一些在吃着饲养员给他们分发的食物，一些在假山上爬来爬去，而另一些成年猴子，则照料着它们刚刚出生不久的孩子……接着，我们来到大象馆，哇！大象们真的是庞然大物啊，大大的身躯像一面厚实的墙，耳朵像一把扇子，四条腿则像四根结实的柱子，怎样都给人一种大得出奇的感觉。表演开始了，一只大象用它的鼻子卷起一个小球，就往投框里扔，啊！中了，这技术，比人还准，实在是令人叹服。大象的表演结束了，我们就来到孔雀区，瞧！孔雀开屏了，简直是百闻不如一见，漂亮极了。我们忙上前同孔雀合影。然后，我们来到熊猫馆看国宝，小家伙们可真可爱，有的嘴里吧唧吧唧的吃着竹子；有的在地上滚来滚去；有的紧紧抱住饲养员的手，怎么都不放开；还有的窝在一起睡懒觉……最后，我们到海豚馆看海豚们表演节目，训导员吹响口哨，几只海豚冲出水面，在空中转了一圈，便跳进水里开始花式游泳，精彩极了！

值得太阳快要下山，我们才依依不舍的回家。今天可真是愉快的一天。

星期日，我们一家人去动物园玩，那里的有很多动物。

动物园里的动物，都非常可爱，但我最喜欢的是猴子。一走进猴子馆就看见很多猴子，有的坐在假山上吃苹果，有的倒挂在枝头，好像在表演杂技，还有的在跟其它猴子玩耍，非常快乐。它们的毛是金色的，非常漂亮！长长的手和长长的尾巴，最奇特的地方就是它们的屁股，红彤彤的，就像一个大桃子。我从袋子里拿出一根香蕉，手刚伸进笼子内，这时，一只猴子突然从树上荡了过来，把香蕉给拿走了。我惊呆了，猴子真厉害啊！

参观完了猴子馆，我们又去看可爱的小企鹅。企鹅们大摇大摆地走着，有一些企鹅站在原地，摇摇摆摆的，像在跳舞似的，它们“跳着舞蹈”迎接大家。企鹅在陆地上虽然大摇大摆，但是它们可是游泳健将呢！一些企鹅站在水池旁边，先伸展了一下翅膀，像是在做着准备运动呢！它们伸展好了翅膀，就“扑通”一跳，跳进了水面。它们游泳可快了，一转眼的功夫，它们就消失在水底。企鹅真是一群可爱的动物。

动物园里的“美女”就是孔雀。它有着五颜六色的羽毛，两条细长的腿，很美丽！一走进孔雀馆，就看见了最精彩的一幕，孔雀开屏。孔雀的尾巴慢慢地张开，最后像一把大扇子一样。孔雀抬着屁股，好像在说：“快看，我多美啊！”有些人恨不得变成孔雀，一直那么美啊！孔雀馆不一会儿就挤满了人，人山人海。

动物园真是一个有趣的地方啊！我以后要经常来玩！
