Now I have already told you a story about an old man that thought he knew

everything, and had been asked a hard question to answer by the king’s

professor; and had been crowned king. Well in this story, I am going to tell you

how the old man got back to thinking he knew everything, and was asked another

hard question by the king’s professor.

It all happened that one day, when the professor was feeling sick, the old

man happened to be on the stage. Now he had a throne too, but not as fancy as

the professor’s. And so he decided to sit on it. When other people are standing

in line to ask for questions, the old man said, “The professor has quit, and so

I shall rule this stage and this kingdom!”

All the people gave him a slow clap, and at last began to ask questions.

Two more days passed and the professor got better, and walked to the stage. But

he found that on his throne was the old man. “Ah! Professor!” shouted the old

since last summer, i have written to my pen pal, seda, who lives in turkey.

i became acquainted with her when i went to england for a study tour.

we stayed with the same family, and she was my roommate and classmate as

well. sometimes we went to the movies together after dinner. seda is very easy

to get along with. i will always remember the two weeks i spent with her. we

didnt forget each other and kept writing to each other after we returned home.

although i havent seen her again since i left england, i still know how she is

through letters, cards and photographs. seda tells me her secrets and also

shares her happiness and sadness with me . both of us hope that we will meet

那是一个晴朗的上午，爸爸带我到鹿鼎寨去玩。我看见很多小伙伴在滑冰，便对爸爸说，要去学滑冰。爸爸欣然同意。

我没有泄气，继续滑。这时，我看见一个大哥哥滑得好极了，顺滑，倒滑，左右滑……我看着入了神，不只自己还在滑，一只脚往前，一只脚往后，又是“啪”的一声，摔倒在地上，这摔得可严重，都起不来了。爸爸见我快不行了，连忙进来扶我起来，说：“抓住栏杆先学会沿边滑。”我休息了一会，又继续滑，这次我可小心了，抓住栏杆一步一步地滑。练习了一阵子，慢慢地，我可以不扶栏杆了，但必须沿着边滑，不然又得摔。正滑得高兴时，我没看见前面有个小石子，幸好手快抓住了栏杆，可由于姿势不对，把手扭了一下。

我休息了一会儿，继续滑。我看见前面有一排波浪，连忙叫爸爸过来，扶我滑波浪，开始还很顺利，可滑到波浪头时，又摔了一跤，爸爸告诉我：“滑波浪时要蹲着。”我听了，按照爸爸说的去做，果然成功了。

就这样，不到中午我就学会了滑冰，还能像样小燕子一样斜着身子“飞”了。
