这里真是一副美丽的风景画，湖水碧波荡漾，波光粼粼。湖上不时有几条游船来来往往地穿梭着。湖中几条鲤鱼在水中嬉戏，溅出一朵朵亮晶晶的水花，“作出”了一圈圈的圆晕。湖边栽上了桃树和柳树，而且是每三棵桃树一枝柳，这正是唐代诗人李白在春天赏花时所描写的“花红柳绿”。瘦西湖在清代康乾时期就已形成了“两堤花柳依水，一路楼台直到山”的湖上园林景色了。

我们乘上小船，荡舟瘦西湖，来欣赏这里的景色。首先来到的是凫庄。这个凫庄是建在水中的，而“凫”字表示的是鸭子的意思，所以凫庄的意思就是浮在水面上的鸭子。

瘦西湖位于江苏省扬州市西北部，因湖面瘦长，称“瘦西湖”。窈窕曲折的湖道，串以长堤春柳、四桥烟雨、徐园、小金山、吹台、五亭桥、白塔、二十四桥、玲珑花界、吟月茶楼、湖滨长廊、石壁流淙、静香书屋等两岸景点，俨然一幅天然秀美的国画长卷。

长堤在湖西岸，长数百米。堤边一株杨柳一棵桃，相间得宜，是赏春的好地方。“长堤春柳”是扬州二十四景之一。沿长堤走到尽头，便见一圆洞门，上书“徐园”二字。门内是一池清水，遍植荷花，池周点缀各种形态的山石，几株翠柳迎风飘舞，景色宜人。

五亭桥建造在瘦西湖上，好像湖的一根腰带。桥上建有五座亭子，故名五亭桥。桥的造型典雅秀丽，黄瓦朱柱，配以白色栏杆，亭内彩绘藻井，富丽堂皇。五亭桥有15个桥洞，十五月圆之夜，每洞各衔一月，15个圆月倒悬水中，争相辉映，泛舟穿插洞间，别具情趣。

白塔距五亭桥不远，为砖石结构，共分三层，上置青铜鎏金塔顶，中层为完室，均作圆形;下层为台基，作正方形。整个造型是模仿北京北海公园喇嘛塔的形式构筑的。

小金山是湖中的小岛，原名长春岭，建于清代中叶。小金山四周环水，水随山转，山因水活。山顶有“风亭”一座，是全园最高点。小金山西麓有一堤通入湖中，堤端为一方亭，名“吹台”。相传乾隆皇帝在这里钓过鱼，因而又叫钓鱼台。钓鱼台三面临水，各有圆门一孔。从钓鱼台前右侧看去，正中圆洞恰好收入“五亭桥”一景，左面圆洞正好收入“白塔”一景，俨然两张独幅画面，其借景手法之巧，令人钦佩。月观是临湖建筑的厅堂，四面皆为格扇，堂后是桂园。当8月桂花盛开之际，推窗赏月，清香四溢，天上水下两月同收眼底，此情此景，甚为动人。

在清秀婉曲的瘦西湖两岸，缀以熔南秀北雄于一炉的扬州古典园林群，形成移步换景、相互因借的山水长轴;名寺古刹和古城墙垣绵延相属，名胜古迹和历史遗存散布其间。风韵独具的自然风光和含蕴丰厚的人文景观相映生辉，是镶嵌在历史文化名城中的一颗璀璨明珠。

听说今年在东关老街那里举行庙会，正月初七那天，我便拖着妈妈一起去逛庙会。

我们兴高采烈地来到东关街，哇！人真多，把本来并不宽敞的老街堵得是水泄不通，有好多我从没见过的小玩意呢，我可要慢慢观赏一番。

我们在人群中穿行着，走到了一家复古的“盐号”门前。妈妈向我介绍说，扬州在古时候是很繁华的，很多盐商靠古运河做着盐业生意，这就是当时卖盐的店铺的模样。盐号里有许多稀奇古怪的东西，有称盐的大杆秤、斗，有盛盐的大缸和箩筐，墙上还挂着一些介绍扬州盐业发展的资料，真是让我大开眼界！

我们继续随着人流往前走，又来到了一家小型私人藏品展览馆，里面展出的是我们扬州的特色手工艺之一——剪纸，还有很多年前才有的火花。最让我惊奇的是展览馆门口有一位大哥哥在做面人。他也就十七、八岁的样子，可那双手却格外灵巧。一团面在他的手上这么一搓、一捏，就可以变成栩栩如生的各种人物、动物，有抱着玉米吃的老鼠，腾云驾雾的神龙，摇头摆尾的小狗……什么十二生肖、西游记的四个主角，他都会捏！看他那副专注的样子，我想：这一手绝活定是他刻苦练习的结果。

天色渐渐暗了，可还有许多人涌向东关街，我们都在这热闹的灯光人潮中流连忘返。

“故人西辞黄鹤楼，烟花三月下扬州。”这个是古人对扬州的赞美。那你来过今天美丽的扬州吗？我现在就带你去扬州最繁华的古城区——东关街看看吧！

夜晚，东关街热闹非凡，车水马龙。我一进入街道，就感觉到古香古色的味道。那里的房子是青砖砌成的，铺上黑色的瓦，门口挂的红灯笼显得更加耀眼。屋顶上的霓虹灯金碧辉煌，像金龙一样奔腾而去。

“扬州特产—牛皮糖，免费品尝咧！好吃咧，手工做的哦。”一阵叫卖声将我吸引了过去，原来是牛皮糖店。老板很热情的让我拿两块尝尝。看着铺满芝麻的牛皮糖，我不经咽了一下口水，吃了一块。黏黏的.糖夹杂着淡淡的芝麻清香，令人回味，真好吃！

我们继续往前走，来到了百年老店——“谢馥春”香粉店，它源于清朝道光年间（1830年），创立的谢馥春香粉铺，至今有一百多年的历史了。它闻名世界的产品是鸭蛋香粉，样子圆圆的，就像一个白白的蛋。

然后，我们又来到一家扬州有名的工艺品店，看了用贝壳等材料制作的点螺画，大红的漆器，扬州三把刀店里卖的指甲刀、菜刀、剪刀。漆器看起来是木头做的，实际是油漆做成的，样式很多，有戒指、项链，还有精致的盒子。对了，还有文房四宝——笔墨纸砚，我们都一一见识了一番。

不知不觉就走到了东关街的尽头——东关古渡。我站在码头上，欣赏着波光粼粼、绸带般的大运河。运河旁边的彩灯把河水染成了五颜六色的。这时候，我觉得是东关街最美丽的一景。

我爱我的家乡扬州。它时时刻刻都以美丽的姿态在等着你来做客。

It was a sunny morning. My father and mother took me to play in the park. We came to the animal quarter and saw a lot of birds, most notably the ostrich.
