The Dragon Boat Festival， also called the Duanwu Festival， is celebrated on

the fifth day of the fifth month according to the Chinese calendar. This

festival is to commemorate the death of QU Yuan， an upright and honest poet and

statesman who is said to have committed suicide by drowning himself in a

river.

The most important activity of this festival is the Dragon Boat races. It

symbolizes people‘s attempts to rescue Qu Yuan. In the current period， these

races also demonstrate the virtues of cooperation and teamwork.

Besides， the festival has also been marked by eating zong zi (glutinous

rice). Zongzi is made of glutinous rice stuffed with different fillings and

wrapped in bamboo or reed leaves. People who mourned the death of Qu threw Zong

zi into the river to feed his ghost every year.

With the changes of the times， the memorial turns to be a time for

protection from evil and disease for the rest of year. People will hang healthy

herbs on the front door to clear the bad luck of the house. Although the

significance of the festival might be different with the past， it still gives

the observer an opportunity to glimpse a part of the rich Chinese cultural

heritage.

端午节，又称为端午节，定在第五个月的第五天据中国日历。这个节日是为了纪念屈原的死，一个忠厚老实的诗人和政治家据说在河流溺水自杀。

或许一些人等不及了，还没到九点钟就开始放礼花，响声震耳欲聋。我们才不管呢，拿着手花在小区里乱舞，一个接一个，成了小区里一道靓丽的风景。我们大家蹦呀、跳呀，玩得可开心了。李想还做了一件大坏事，那就是拿着手花吓唬我，我怕惹火烧身，急忙连连后退。可还是被石头一绊，全身弄得脏兮兮的，真是气死我了，她们却还笑翻了天，真是可恶！后来，我和李想捡来两根空礼花棒，变着戏法玩起来。李想突发奇想，向我提了一个建议：“我俩来‘开战’，用礼花棒作武器，但不能伤人……。”李想一说完，我俩便开始了“世纪之战”，我一棒打过去，李想一挡，我的棒子变成了双截棍。李想趁我不注意，灵机一动，从我后面打了我一下，然后跑到我前面，趁我往后面看时，又打了我一下，我立刻回击，打到了李想的头，我俩玩得兴起，忽视了姐姐，她气得跑上楼去。

For another, it is acknowledged that the rehabilitation of Sinology can contribute to the establishment of a harmonious society.

In my opinion, all Chinese people should inherit the merits of Sinology. To do so, we can read books by ourselves or to attend lectures on this issue. Besides, we have the obUgation to popularize introducing it to the world By doing so, we can not only inherit it but also make it glorious and prosperous.

又是一年。清脆的声响和新的希冀从大山深处蠕动，孤寂了的残雪从残垣的墙隅处打着旋风狂舞。沉睡了的孤寂在孩子燃放的爆竹声中荡然无存。尽管幸福几何，辛酸几何，待春节将至，一年的辛酸，一年的幸福，都随着烟花绽放。一切迷茫，在当我踏入其中时都云开雾散。

今年的春节与往年不尽相同。可能是因为年岁稍长的关系，没有过多的激动与欢喜，只有淡淡的欣慰。大概每日埋在功课与知识中的我，早已失去了那份纯真吧。如今我正坐在书海中，微微舒展筋骨，眼睛便自然地望向了窗外。灯火通明，人群熙攘，就连清冷得不涉人间尘埃的明月，仿佛也添了几分烟火气。霎时我想到那句“热闹是他们的，我什么也没有”，便叹了一口气。不知道什么时候出来的父亲面带着笑意缓缓推开门，端上了一杯热水。他看到我叹气，并没有过多地询问我，只是拍拍我的肩，又慢慢关上门出去了。

为什么我总觉得一切越来越枯燥，越来越无趣了呢?我一点学习的心思都没有了，只是静静地坐着，脑子里思绪万千。以前总觉得过了一年又是一个新的开始，现在在许多琐事的压迫下迈不开步。记得曾经在一篇初中作文中写过，“我要踏遍山峰谷壑，看英雄留下的豪情万种;我要倚立在水天的尽头，笑看芸芸众生的起起落落……”当年的豪情壮志，像远古吹来的风，一阵一阵，不切实际，却让人感动。压力排山倒海般袭来，就像在一条小径上行走，而我忘了为什么出发。

抬头仰望天空，天变得很黑，一副深不可测的样子。生活平淡而单调，让我有一种头晕目眩，仿佛遗失了什么的感觉。人们的脚步太匆匆，快得让我抓不住他们的一丝丝痕迹。然而，生活中总会有一些感动，是否我的脚步也太匆匆，如同赶着人潮的末班车，匆匆地来不及抓住什么?难道我就如此钝感，没有人情味，连人世间不多的欢愉和温暖都抓不住吗?

时钟滴滴答答地响着，时间一如往常地流逝。我静静地看着时间流逝，心里开始有了几分慰藉。是啊!纵然时光飞逝，那些足迹不会消失，那些往事值得珍惜。知道了长江后浪推前浪的弥足珍贵，也知道了江山代有才人出、各领风骚数百年的变迁，对于旧去新来的时光，我反而有了迎接它的勇气。时间即使无情流逝，也会带给我们一丝清凉，留在我身后的脚印，也会让我珍惜，是它把这段路踩成了前进的音符。这串脚印依然变化着，而我要学会笑着拥抱它，以一个崭新的面目迎接它。
