在人们赞颂母亲给予我们生命的时候，是谁在一旁带着期盼的目光，希望能从我们这里能得到一丝，哪怕只是不足于对母亲的关心的万分之一也好啊!是谁呢?是他，是撑起这个家的顶梁柱，是他，没有一丝怨言地为我们而努力，是他，是一位同样和母亲伟大的人。他，是父亲。父亲，可能不像母亲一样表达出来对我们的爱，在我们的眼里，父亲可能是个对我们要求严格，不容我们做错一丁点事情的人，可能你们会觉得父亲不爱我们，其实，并不是这样，他虽然表面上对我们和严格，可其实他的内心并不缺乏对我们的爱。

几乎所有人都感谢母亲，而我却要感谢我的父亲，如果没有他那严厉的目光，如果没有他看似冷漠的表情，如果没有他那严格的要求，如果没有他那一颗爱我的心，我将不会像现在这么的幸福。

我从心底里深深地感谢您，父亲，感谢您多年来对我那特殊的爱。

我的一天

I got up early this morning. I cleaned my room. I opened the window and

aired the room. I picked up the paper and swept the floor. Then I made the

bed.

我今天很早起床。打扫了房间。我开窗通了风。我捡了地上的纸，扫了地。然后我整理了床铺。

I played computer games. We had lunch at 12:00. We had fish for lunch.

我玩了电脑游戏。我们在12点的时候吃了午饭。我们吃了鱼。

After lunch we went to the park. In the evening I did my homework. We had

delicious food for supper.

午饭后，我们去了公园。傍晚的时候我做了作业。我们晚饭吃了美味。

I was very happy today.

我今天过的很愉快。

一个快乐而又短暂的寒假悄悄来到了我的身边，好开心呀!我又可以放鞭炮，看烟花。高高兴兴过大年啦!

“年”这个词是怎么来到我们身边的呢?听妈妈说：“传说很久很久以前，有一个叫‘年’的怪兽，每当大年三十的除夕，都会来到一个村子里，专吃准备好的饭菜和小孩子。村里的人都非常害怕和担心。因为没有办法除掉怪兽，就天天苦恼着。不久后，村里来了一位老人，他制作了鞭炮和贴上门神和春联，说把鞭炮放响和贴上春联，‘年’听到炮声，看见门神，就不会再来了。人们都按照他说的去做，果然‘年’就没有再来过。”

今天是除夕夜，龙年就快到了，我盼啊盼，时间在一分一秒离去，龙年在一步步向我走来。终于到了十二点了，我和弟弟，爸爸妈妈一起下楼放鞭炮。爸爸点燃了导火线，很快鞭炮声响了起来。“噼里啪啦，噼里啪啦!”我和弟弟捂着耳朵高兴地跳了起来，我开心地对着天空说：“龙年来了，新年快乐!”

接着我们又燃放了许多烟花，烟花在空中姿势不一，有的像拖着长尾巴的流星;有的像绽放笑脸的花儿;还有的像一盘散开的珍珠……漂亮极了。夜晚的烟花在天空中绽放的如此多彩，为我们大家带来了无比的喜悦。

我喜欢寒假，因为它不仅是为了迎接新年的到来，而且也为我带来了许许多多有趣和好玩的事情。
