我的语文老师陈老师好像看出了我的心思，慢慢走到我的面前，轻声细语地微笑着说：“张艾翎，你如果还想参加接力赛就去参加吧，你只要平时多加练习，在比赛时就一定不会出现失误，说不定还能为班级争光呢!"

老师的话和这个微笑给了我无穷的勇气，我连忙跑去报名了。我想：以后不会因为一点小挫折就放弃，再不会了，永远都不会了。

有一次数学考试，平时成绩数一数二的我竟然只考了86分，我背着如泰山一样重的书包，迈着沉重的步子走在回家的路上，心想：今天回家，爸爸肯定会骂死我的。

回到家，我拿着数学卷子给爸爸看，刚开始爸爸的眉头皱得很紧，看到最后，爸爸的眉头舒展开了。看完后，我以为爸爸会打我、骂我，可是我意想不到的是，爸爸微笑着说：“你错的全是马虎造成的，其实你都会做，对吧?以后一定要细心，会做的全部做正确。”我点点头，暗暗下定决心，以后一定要细心!就是因为爸爸的这个微笑，从那以后，我再也没有马虎做题了。
