然而在有些人眼中，这些动物不过是一些任人宰割、没有生命、没有感情的东西。它们不过是餐桌上的美味或能换取金钱的物品，人们为了皮衣和食品杀死各种飞禽走兽，为了所谓“口福”大量捕杀贩卖山珍野味，满山的捕鸟网，遍野的捕兽套，令人触目惊心的动物残骸，诸如此类的报道屡见不鲜，不绝于声。致使动物种类大幅减少，有些动物已经灭绝或濒于灭绝，太残忍了。不知道那些人长的是怎样的铁石心肠，如果任其发展下去，我们再也听不到百鸟争鸣，再看不到鱼翔海底，许多动物将成为“据史料记载”。这个世界将不再丰富多彩，这个世界将只剩下贪婪人类的孤独和凄凉。这是整个人类的悲哀。

有一句话说的好，保护动物就等于爱护我们自己，大自然中的任何一种动物都是食物链的一环，一环不可缺少，缺少任何一环都会打乱自然界的平衡，遭殃的还是我们自己，许多动物都是人类的朋友，人类自己不是经常把动物分为益虫和害虫吗?如果益虫都灭绝了，那会是怎样一种情况呢?如果害虫灭绝益虫也不复存在，动物的生存灭绝与我们的生活密切相关。

保护动物，珍惜生命，是我们从心底发出的呼唤。我们要从身边的小事做起，爱护小动物，爱护弱小生命，拒绝食用野生动物，拒绝穿戴使用兽皮、兽骨做的衣服，饰品和用品。坚决抵制残害动物的行为，为我们和动物共同营造一个和谐共存的家园。

今天，我就让大家来看看应该怎样保护环境。有些人可能会说：在城市里放几块宣传保护环境的牌子不就好了吗，其实，这种想法是错误的。有人可能会说了：这不是在宣传保护环境吗?当然不是，因为这里有两点原因：1，有一些人有可能每天都不看牌子，所以就不会加入到保护环境的队伍中去。习惯差的，还有可能继续破坏环境。2，那个人看是看了，但他不想加入到这个行列中去或是根本就不想保护环境。从这两点可以说明光是几块宣传的牌子是没用的。哪有人可能会急切地问道：那该怎么办!办法很简单，只要自己要保护环境的信心，自己身边的人也会跟着做的!

保护环境第一步：自己学会保护环境。要求：自己要自觉地保护环境，不能连自己都在破坏环境，这样你就连管别人的要求都达不到了。保护环境第二步：劝告别人保护环境。要求：如果见别人乱扔垃圾或吐痰等，应该立即上去劝阻。当然自己也要管得知自己哟!保护环境第三步：让一个集体保护环境。要求：让几十个人并成一个集体，并保护环境。如果你这三点都做到了，那你就是一个“保护环境小卫士”了!

生活在长白山上的东北虎10年前还有10只，现在却不足8只，因为长白山上环境被恶化，所以使东北虎面临灭绝;只生活在长江中下游的白鳍豚10年前还有20头，但2008年科学工作者在长江中下游勘察了一个星期却没有发现一头白鳍豚，如果这一项工作被证实的话，那么白鳍豚早在2008年就已经灭绝了，因为长江中下游的水环境被严重破坏，所以使白鳍豚面临灭绝;我国的国宝大熊猫现在已经不足20只了，大熊猫已经有几千年的历史，被称为‘活化石’!它具有很大的科学考察性。因为我国的大面积竹林被破坏，所以使大熊猫面临灭绝;可爱的羚羊，野生动物王国的跳跃健将和奔跑的佼佼者，却因为过度放牧，所以使羚羊只能嚼着干瘦的‘地衣’和面临灭;还有不会飞的水栖鸟—企鹅……难道我们就忍心看着这些可爱的动物们面临灭绝吗?

现在的人们为了钱可以不顾一切，‘钱乃身外之物’钱没有了可以再挣。但是动物灭绝了就再也没有了!为了我们人类请保护它们，为了我们的家园请保护它们，为了自然生态的平衡请保护它们!虽然我不是诗人，我不会用优美的语句去恳请人们保护动物们，但是我会用发自心腹的真心话去恳请人们去保护动物!我们已经经历过一次恐龙灭绝了，恐龙的灭绝使我国的研究受到了一定的阻碍。难道我们人类只有经历过所以动物的灭绝才会醒悟吗?

如果动物灭绝了，那么，接下来灭绝的就是人类!保护动物。
