记得在小学四年级时我的语文成绩很不理想，每次只能考低分，我渐渐没有了信心，每次考语文时，心里只会想“反正每次都会考低分，何必在乎这一次呢?我开始变得消沉，但直到有一次我的分数和倒数第一名相差无几时，我才发现，我错了，以前，不管成绩怎么样，我总是努力过的，不像现在没有了信心。从那以后，我就开始认真对待起语文来，没当我遇到困难时，我就会对自己说：“坚持决不放弃!”付出的艰辛不会白白浪费，终于我语文考试有了很大的进步!

There were three of them. There were four of us, and April lay on the campsite and on the river, a mixture of dawn at a damp extreme and the sun in the leaves at cajole. Now, into our campsite deep in the forest, so deep that at times we had to rebuild sections of narrow road (more a loggers path) flushed out by earlier rains, deep enough where we thought wed again have no traffic, came a growling engine, an old solid body van, a Chevy, the kind I had driven for Frankie Pike and the Lobster Pound in Lynn delivering lobsters throughout the Merrimack Valley. "Mornin, been yet?" one of them said as he pulled his boots up from the folds at his knees, the tops of them as wide as a big mouth bass coming up from the bottom for a frog sitting on a lily pad. His hands were large, the fingers long and I could picture them in a shop barn working a primal plane across the face of a maple board. Custom-made, old elegance, those hands said.

"Barely had coffee," Ed LeBlanc said, the most vocal of the four of us, quickest at friendship, at shaking hands. "Weve got a whole pot almost. Have what you want." The pot was pointed out sitting on a hunk of grill across the stones of our fire, flames licking lightly at its sides. The pot appeared as if it had been at war, a number of dents scarred it, the handle had evidently been replaced, and if not adjusted against a small rock it would have fallen over for sure. Once, a half-hour on the road heading north, noting it missing, wed gone back to get it. When we fished the Pine River, coffee was the glue, the morning glue, the late evening glue, even though wed often unearth our beer from a natural cooler in early evening. Coffee, camp coffee, has a ritual. It is thick, it is dark, it is potboiled over a squaw-pine fire, it is strong, it is enough to wake the demon in you, stoke last evenings cheese and pepperoni. The father was crushed. He fell on his knees and put his arms around his precious little girl. He begged her to forgive him for his unnecessary anger.

An accident took the life of the child only a short time later. It is told that the father kept that little gold box by his bed for all the years of his life. Whenever he was discouraged or faced difficult problems he would open the box, take out an imaginary kiss, and remember the love of this beautiful child who had put it there.

In a very real sense, each of us as human beings have been given an invisible golden box filled with unconditional love and kisses from our children, family, friends and God.

There is no more precious possession anyone could hold.

I live in Hollywood. You may think people in such a glamorous, fun-filled place are happier than others. If so, you have some mistaken ideas about the nature of happiness.

Many intelligent people still equate happiness with fun. The truth is that fun and happiness have little or nothing in common. Fun is what we experience during an act. Happiness is what we experience after an act. It is a deeper, more abiding emotion.

Going to an amusement park or ball game, watching a movie or television, are fun activities that help us relax, temporarily forget our problems and maybe even laugh. But they do not bring happiness, because their positive effects end when the fun ends.

I have often thought that if Hollywood stars have a role to play, it is to teach us that happiness has nothing to do with fun. These rich, beautiful inpiduals have constant access to glamorous parties, fancy cars, expensive homes, everything that spells "happiness".

But in memoir after memoir, celebrities reveal the unhappiness hidden beneath all their fun: depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, broken marriages, troubled children, profound loneliness.

The way people cling to the belief that a fun-filled, pain-free life equates happiness actually diminishes their chances of ever attaining real happiness. If fun and pleasure are equated with happiness, then pain must be equated with unhappiness. But, in fact, the opposite is true: More times than not, things that lead to happiness involve some pain.

As a result, many people avoid the very endeavors that are the source of true happiness. They fear the pain inevitably brought by such things as marriage, raising children, professional achievement, religious commitment, civic or charitable work, and self-improvement.

One warm afternoon the man by the window described a parade passing by. Although the other man couldn‘t hear the band - he could see it in his mind‘s eye as the gentleman by the window portrayed it with descriptive words.

Days and weeks passed. One morning, the day nurse arrived to bring water for their baths only to find the lifeless body of the man by the window, who had died peacefully in his sleep. She was saddened and called the hospital attendants to take the body away.

As soon as it seemed appropriate, the other man asked if he could be moved next to the window. The nurse was happy to make the switch, and after making sure he was comfortable, she left him alone. Slowly and painfully, he propped himself up on one elbow to take his first look at the world outside. Finally, he would have the joy of seeing it for himself. He strained to slowly turn to look out the window beside the bed. It faced a blank wall.

The man asked the nurse what could have compelled his deceased roommate who had described such wonderful things outside this window. The nurse responded that the man was blind and could not even see the wall. She said, "Perhaps he just wanted to encourage you."

When he arrived at his fathers house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search through his fathers important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago.

With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he was reading, a car key dropped from the back of the Bible. It had a tag with the dealers name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words… "PAID IN FULL".

How many times do we miss blessings because they are not packaged as we expected? I trust you enjoyed this. Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not; but remember that what you now have was once among the things you only hoped for. Sometimes we dont realize the good fortune we have or we could have because we expect "the packaging" to be different. What may appear as bad fortune may in fact be the door that is just waiting to be opened.

Until one day, the mother stopped coming to the nest.

The baby eagle was hungry. "Im sure to die," said the baby eagle, all the time.

"Very soon, death is coming," he cried, with tears streaming down his face. Over and over. But there was no one there to hear him.

Then one day the mother eagle appeared at the top of the mountain cliff, with a big bowl of delicious food and she looked down at her baby. The baby looked up at the mother and cried "Why did you abandon me? Im going to die any minute. How could you do this to me?"

The mother said, "Here is some very tasty and nourishing food, all you have to do is come get it."

"Come get it!" said the baby, with much anger. "How?"

The mother flew away.

The baby cried and cried and cried.

A few days later, "Im going to end it all," he said. "I give up. It is time for me to die."

He didnt know his mother was nearby. She swooped down to the nest with his last meal.

"Eat this, its your last meal," she said.

The baby cried, but he ate and whined and whined about what a bad mother she was.

"Youre a terrible mother," he said. Then she pushed him out of the nest.

He fell.

Head first.

Picked up speed.

Faster and faster.

He screamed. "Im dying Im dying," he cried. He picked up more speed.

He looked up at his mother. "How could you do this to me?"

He looked down.

The ground rushed closer, faster and faster. He could visualize his own death so clearly, coming so soon, and cried and whined and complained. "This isnt fair!" he screamed.

Something strange happens.

The air caught behind his arms and they snapped away from his body, with a feeling unlike anything he had ever experienced. He looked down and saw the sky. He wasnt moving towards the ground anymore, his eyes were pointed up at the sun.

"Huh?" he said. "What is going on here!"

"Youre flying," his mother said.

"This is fun!" laughed the baby eagle, as he soared and ped and swooped.

"Yes it is!" said the mother.

歌德曾经说过：读一本好书就是和高尚的人谈话。因此我非常喜欢读书。

这天，我和往常一样来到图书馆，在书架上无意找到了《小王子》这本书，便拿回家津津有味的看了起来。

第一次翻开《小王子》，一下子就被他那清新的文笔和单纯的世界所吸引。我不禁为他的遭遇感到悲哀，为他执着的爱所赞叹。

《小王子》讲述的是：在一颗遥远的星球上，住着一位小王子，他和一朵玫瑰生活了许多年，他们一起快乐的生活着，有一天，他离开了自己的星球，离开了深爱的玫瑰。

小王子游历了许多星球，在这些星球上，他遇到一些不可理逾的大人，狂妄自大的国王，财迷心窍的商人、迂腐的点灯人……于是他不断的产生疑问，他觉得大人们的世界很奇怪，许多大人都盲目和愚妄。如果你说他这栋房子很漂亮，他们会问：“多少钱?”你回答100万，那他们会说：“这栋房子真漂亮!”

最后他来到了地球。他原来一直以为自己的玫瑰是独一无二的，当他在地球上看到了与自己玫瑰相同的5000枝玫瑰时，他流泪了。这时，一只狐狸告诉他：你的玫瑰就是世界上独一无二的，因为你去爱她了，为他付出了，这朵玫瑰对于你就是唯一的!爱意味着责任，意味着慈悲，有了爱生活里的.一切才有了意义。

小王子最后倒在了沙漠中。可他让我明白了爱就要付出，对于眷顾过的东西，要永远负责任!

最近我迷上了，老舍先生写得一本书叫《骆驼祥子》这本书。

让人回味无穷，待我细细给你们到来。

这本书的主人公是祥子。主要写了;祥子买车三起三落的过程，写出了旧社会人力车夫的苦难生活。

这本书主要写了;来自乡下的年轻小伙祥子在拉租来的洋车是，立志要买一辆属于自己的洋车，做一位独立的劳动者。经过了整整三年的劳动努力，他用自己的血汗钱换来了一辆属于自己的洋车，可没过多久军阀乱兵抢走了他的洋车。孙侦探又骗走了他所有的积蓄，当他面临着一个又一个打击时，他没有向命运低头，而是像命运反抗。

但是他做的一切都是徒然，他用虎妞的积蓄又买了一辆车，很快又卖掉了，用来料理虎妞的丧事，而小福子的离世吹灭了祥子心中最后一盏灯，这时的他对生活失去了信心他从好强沦落到自甘坠落，从前正直善良的的祥子被生活碾得粉碎。

我认为祥子最大的优点就是能吃苦耐劳，他的理想并不难;他只想有一辆属于自己的洋车，娶一位年轻、能吃苦的、健康的妻子，可事实不是这样自己的爱车被抢，又被迫娶了虎妞，连自己心中最后的希望也没了，因为小福子自杀了，这是他对生活失去了信心，从此变得狡猾懒惰、极端自私而无赖，成了彻头彻尾的“刺头儿”。

我们要学习以前的祥子，而不要学有的祥子哦。

雷锋出生在在一个贫苦的家庭，呱呱坠地，迎接他的不是笑声和温暖，而是饥饿和寒冷、苦难。在他刚懂事的时候，他爸爸就被日本鬼子打死了，哥哥和妈妈先后被地主逼死，弟弟也病死了，只有六奶奶和他相依为命。然而苦难没有遮住雷锋心中的阳光，却更让他意思到人生的真谛——活着，就要如太阳，发一分光，发一份热，诚心诚意的为人们服务。

可是，在一九六二年八月十五日，雷锋在指挥战友倒车时，汽车轮一滑，流进了到变小水沟，碰到了一根柱子，那根柱子倒向雷锋，就这样，雷锋牺牲了。雷锋温暖的双眼，就这样闭上了，他那美丽的心灵也停止了跳动。

虽然雷锋死了，但是他永远活在我们心里，他的精神会被我们一代又一代的发扬光大!

我喜欢一个人静静的在书房看包罗万象的课外读物，每当窗外和风轻轻的吹拂着我的双颊时，彷彿在告诉我：别打瞌睡呵！墙上勤奋的时钟也不甘示弱的“滴答！滴答！”作响。正当我全神贯注陶醉书本中，慈爱的妈妈便会轻吻着我的小脸蛋儿，温柔的告诉我：宝贝早点睡呵！

记得第一次写作文时，我有如受困在丛林中的小白兔，盼呀！望呀！总希望爸妈快来解救我，“肠枯思竭”的我真是“ 笔有千斤重呀！” 学校非常重视我们的语文能力，不断的鼓励同学多借阅图书馆的藏书，并推行“小树长高高”读后心得书写的活动，就是希望我们能阅读各类书籍，增广见闻。

当我看昆虫类书籍时，我常想像自己是一位英勇善战的螳螂武士，身穿绿袍，手拿双刀，打遍天下。阅读地球科学类书籍时，我会和父母共同探讨大自然的奥祕，常常置身书本中，乐不思蜀。慢慢的，我的作文也进步许多，爸妈也经常夸奖我“出口成章”、谈吐得体，让我的信心倍增，不再是迷失的小白兔。

“书中自有黄金屋，书中自有颜如玉”，优良的读物可以洗涤你的心灵，丰富你的知识，只要你愿意翻开第一页用心的阅读，你将会慢慢得喜欢上它。“三日不读书，便觉面目可憎，言语乏味”啊！因此，我们要养成阅读课外读物的好习惯，并培养自己的兴趣，享受其中的乐趣。

今天我闲着没事，从我的木制小书架上面拿了一本书来看，本想随便翻翻，不曾想却入了迷，这本书就是英国着名作家——斯蒂文森写的探险书籍《金银岛》。

它主要以一个孩子的口吻讲述了一个古老的探宝寻奇的冒险故事。故事里有许多危险的情形，例如：小吉姆和海盗在船上搏斗，还差点被刺死。船长、医生和乡绅和邪恶的海盗们枪战等等，看得我触目惊心。在整个故事情节的叙述中除了惊心动魄的血腥屠杀，还处处有爱心的不断闪现，比如大夫在和海盗为敌的情况下依然为海盗们治病，服刑者自己作为医生的神圣使命和职责，等等。

看完这本书，我的心还是久久不能平静，整个历险过程险象环生，但吉姆凭着自己的机智勇敢一次次逃离了险境。我可真佩服他!我多渴望也体验一下冒险的生活啊!记得有一次，我和朋友小婷突然心血来潮，想去银淀公寓-1层去探险，因为住在那里的朋友小珊说-1闹过鬼，半夜经过的人们有时会听见一阵古怪的笑声，半真半假的，于是我们鼓起勇气，约好放学后一起去那闹过鬼的-1层。谁知，一到那儿，却遇见了去买菜的老妈，她问我们去那干嘛?我回答说去探险，老妈一听便火了，大吼道：“你们胆子不小啊，小小年纪，天天去探险，走!跟我回家!”就这样，我硬是被妈妈强生生地拉回家了，回家还免不了一阵耳朵之苦，唉，我真想去探险，为人们解开那些谜。虽然我是女孩子，但我拥有着男生般勇敢的性格，妈妈，给我去探探险吧!

我真爱看这本书!

看完《骆驼祥子》，头就开始隐隐的疼。小说的最后一个章节，根本无心仔细去读，因为厌恶，甚至开始憎恨那个卑微而可怜的祥子，那个已经沦落至不堪怜悯的祥子。

动乱的世界也不曾催垮坚定的信念，身体的疲乏也没有驱散幸福的奔头，唯有心中那点飘忽不定的光明灭了，灵魂就开始荡泊了，生死便犹同了。

小福子在文章中的笔墨远不及虎妞之多，但如此轻微的她在祥子的心里却是整个天地。她如此平凡，只能让人们记起她开口笑时露出的几颗白牙;她如此低微，只能靠出卖肉身来维持生存;但她又是如此伟大，甚至靠卖肉身来支撑整个家用;她又是如此的自尊，唯有用一死才能洗清一身的污臭。她那么温和，对谁都笑着露出那些可爱的白牙;她是那么的体贴，放下尊严羞红着脸对祥子说“我想……”，仅仅这一句已是走到绝路的最后抉择。她把主动权让给了祥子，期待着可以有人相依偎。然而祥子紧紧的将倒卖虎妞遗物的钱放在胸口，他怯弱的不敢承受小福子身后的沉重包袱，他逃离了，遗弃了小福子自在的逃离了。

但是如果没有小福子，谁人会懂得祥子，谁又会明白他的艰辛。他放纵自我，用日子好了就去找小福子的借口来心安理得的麻痹自己。可是那个走投无路的人怎能等到他回头，怎能盼上他的好日子?

小福子是这样一个轻微的人，活着的时候不累赘别人，死后也悄无声息。可是你为什么不去怨恨，为什么没有哭泣，你又为什么不来诅咒这个混乱的世道呢?所有的人都遗弃了你，你却那么屈辱而自尊的活着。这个女子轻柔似风，怡人而不留痕迹;这个女子坚韧似石，要强而又静定凡骨。这个女子可爱可敬，令人心疼;却又可悲可叹，让人哀恨。

她和祥子的接触微乎其微，只是在虎妞面前的几句寒暄，只是虎妞丧葬时的稍许照料，但是她却给了祥子一个“家”的感觉。这个家没了，祥子也便没了温暖，没了希冀，一切得过且过吧，从此祥子也便没了尊严，没了良知，形同走肉。

就这样苟且的活吧，过了今天谁知道会有明天呢?但若挨过了明天，谁又知道后天会怎样呢?享乐一日算一日吧。一个没有将来的人注定看不到光明，也注定会被黑暗而蒙蔽，遗失了自我。

As a student, we have study for many years. During there years, we study

Chinese, English, science and so on. In this period, with the improvement of our

knowledge, we not only read the books in class but also read extracurricular

after school. In my opinion Dream of the red chamber is the best book I have

read. In this book, the great author Cao xueqin his view about love. He had

firmly faith in what is the true love and try to tell us that there are

different kinds of love, only one kind which should be considered as True

Love.

In a dream, and under mythical circumstances, the main character of the

novel, Jia baoyu, met the Fairy Disenchantment in the Land of Illusions. She

showed him three "registers" each containing the names and "the happenings in

life" of 12 girls in his clan. Each girl represents a kind of love.

From the stories which are unfolding in the novel, the reader should know

the characteristics of the different kinds of love, and should be able to

distinguish True Love from the other kinds.

True love is acceptance, committal, mutual and without any post conditions.

The love between Lin daiyu and Jia baoyu is considered to be True Love. Just

saying or hearing I love you is not good enough because talk is cheap. Action in

mutual commitment is essential, as we can see in the novel.

We always have dreams. What’s ours dream? Do you know what you exactly

want? And do you work hard for it. In this book, you can taste the feeling of

the author about his strong will. In his words, you can find the charm of

Chinese. It is not a book, but a precious deposits. You can get a lot from it.

But unfortunately, the novel was never "completed" to such a state. On the other

hand, maybe, it is another kind of beauty of the book. If you have not read this

book yet, just go and read it. You will love it.

I think reading is important in the whole life for people. There are manybenefits of reading. Firstly, reading increases our knowledge and we can learnthe world affairs without going out. Secondly, reading is a good way to improvereading and writing skills. Before you learn to write, you must know how otherswrite. Thirdly, reading can broaden our knowledge and horizon, which isimportant to job hunting in the future. Finally, reading helps us becomeself-cultivation that would be beneficial to our whole life. Therefore, startto reading, no matter how old you are and what you are doing. Then, you mayfind the great charm and benefits of reading.

我们可能会经常感到奇怪，为什么我们想的东西，画的东西，甚至于想做的事情，大人们都不明白，只会让我们去学习，做一些他们自以为是的一些“正经事”的事。

小王子的作者也和我们有着同感，他在他很小的时候，曾画过一条蟒蛇吞了一头大象的画，但当他想拿着这幅画去吓他父母时，他们却认为这只是一幅普普通通，甚至不怎么漂亮的帽子。我认为这些大人的思想太拘束，并且没有想像力，好似思维里都是日常生活里的东西或工作的配件。

我对此感到颇有同感，记得我小时候，有一次画了一张几个小孩子捅了马蜂窝的画，然后便十分激动的拿给我爷爷看，他只是“嗯”的一声凑合着含含糊糊的夸了我一句，便又飞快的转移话题让我背古诗去了，当时我十分不开心，但也不敢违抗，只好顺从的背古诗去了。

当时我十分奇怪大人们的态度，但现在我明白了。

书中小王子能第一眼就看出作者画的是一条蟒蛇吞了一头大象，是因为他有着纯净的心灵和丰富的想象力，还没有被社会的迷雾蒙上双眼，而那些大人则是已经被世俗的生活迷雾蒙上了双眼，而且直逼心灵。

每一个人都是从小长到大的，为什么大人们就不明白这些呢?

其实，许多大人小时，哪怕是最严肃的大人，都肯定会有着天马行空的想象和纯净的心灵，但是时间、社会、工作早己经将这些强硬的抺去，这是多么可惜呀!当他们明白了这些东西的宝贵，回头，想要挽回时，已经太迟了。

书中作者曾写到：“我大概也有点儿和大人一样了。”说明我们还是可以不将这些宝贵的东西丢弃的，但得以从孩提时代就明白，因为作者的年纪在那时早就应该是大人了，而他却没有将自己归类成大人，说明这里的大人是指大人的心态，所以如果我们童真的心灵，长大后，便可以看的通很多，不受社会的影响。

大人们或许会因为失去了这个感到终身遗憾，所以我们应当保存这纯真的心灵，这将是一笔十分大的精神财富。

最近，我读了一本书——《儒林外史》。

《儒林外史》的作者是清代的吴敬梓，他用了很长时间才完成了这部讽刺小说，书中介绍了王冕、范进、杜少卿、周进、沈琼枝等人物形象，同时揭露了封建科举制度和封建礼教的黑暗与腐朽。

《儒林外史》中最令人叹息的人物是匡超人(匡迥)，他本是一个事亲孝顺、勤奋好学的人，马二先生也尽心尽力地帮助他，而匡超人却掉进了世俗的漩涡，又结识了潘三这样的坏人，他还帮着潘三干了两件坏事，当潘三被抓时，他马上和潘三断了联系，害怕官府查出自己来，这也是不正义之举。

之后，他不但不学好，反而变得爱吹牛，对事不懂装懂，匡超人最终得到的是名士牛布衣歧视的一笑。

匡超人本来很好，可深受八股文的毒害，又交了坏朋友，落得如此下场。

令人感到可惜!

《儒林外史》中最让我感动的人物是郭孝子，他不怕艰苦，历尽重重困难千里寻找被迫出家的父亲，可父亲却不认他，而他却默默无闻的供养着父亲，最终拿到了父亲的遗骨，完成了自己应该做的一桩心事。

郭孝子是天下难得的孝子。

我们应该向他学习!

A good book not only brings happiness to people, but also comforts; it can

not only make you think deeply, but also enlighten you. A good book is a wise

man, a mentor, a friend, and a partner. My favorite thing is reading.

books also bring me much joy. I remember one time, my mother bought me

"Insects", the book records many insects and their habits. I couldnt put it

down, and when I got home, I picked up the book and read it with interest. When

I read the firefly insect, a beautiful scene immediately appeared in my mind: On

a summer night, I was walking in the park, and at this time, many fireflies were

flying around me. Illuminate the way forward... The more I think about it, the

more excited I am, and I read it more seriously. When I read about ants, an

insect, I couldnt help but be shocked by its unity. Together, ants can move

things that are several times heavier than them. I also feel that we must learn

from the spirit of ants. Reading and reading, I forgot the time. It wasnt until

my mother came to ask me to eat, I reluctantly put down the book and swallowed a

spit, as if swallowing wisdom into my stomach, my heart was still in the

colorful world of insects.

Gorky once said: "I am on books, like hungry people are on bread." Food

feeds only our bodies, and books feed our souls. Books can increase our

knowledge, broaden our horizons, and improve our writing skills; they can bring

us inspiration and happiness. "When the book is used, we hate less", so I think

we need to read more and read more books to make our achievements bloom like

《红色之旅》再次把我带回到上个世纪那腥风血雨的年代：硝烟弥漫于整个大地，国家四分五裂，国恨家仇——那是一段屈辱史!然而，无数仁人志士怀着一颗赤忱的爱国心，为解救人民为解救民族而艰苦探索……在此危难时刻，中国共产党应运而生，登上历史的舞台，带领中国人民艰苦创业，从此，中国的面貌涣然一新!

一幕幕;一幅幅;一个个;一处处;一件件……

至此，我似乎已经明白《红色之旅》为何如此振奋人心，我能不被先烈们磐石无转移的赤诚之心为之震撼和感动吗?

当我驻足于刘胡兰纪念馆时，刘胡兰气宇轩昂、正气凛然的雕像和“生的伟大，死的光荣”又一次使我们想起这位正值妙龄的少女悲惨而悲壮的命运。时年不足十五岁的共产党员在敌人的威逼利诱面前不为所动，毅然选取死亡，坦然躺在刀坐上，迎接死亡的到来，但刘胡兰永远活在我们心中!

我个人比较喜欢红色经典的小说，没事的时候也会经常看一些这样的书籍还有电影，因为我总觉得这是我们国家诞生的标记，没有这些书籍、影音制品，我们怎样样看到我们国家一步一步的富强?所以红色经典是十足的珍贵的。
