I like the summer holiday every year.This summer I went to Beijing for my holiday,Beijing is our capital city.I went to the Summer Palace,climbed the Great Wall and went to many places of interest.I had a very good time.During this summer holiday,I went to Putuo and Xiangshan.I saw the beautiful sea.I enjoyed having a walk along the beach after supper or having a swim in the moonlight.Its really "cool".

My vacation

This years summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.

I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. It was a sun day of the summer holiday. The weather was hot. My little brother and I decided to go to the resrvoir to swim by bike. It took us half an hour when we got there, many people were swimming. Then we dived into the water……

About an hour later, suddenly somebody called: “help! help!” We were surprised to see a boy struggling in the deep water. As quickly as possible. We swam towards him and pulled him to the shore. He lost his consciousness. We sent him to the nearest hospital at once luckily, he was saved.

快乐的暑假生活即将过去，我也要迎来新的一学期。新学期，新开始，我给自己订一个新学期计划。

首先，在学习方面：一、课前做好预习，给学习新的知识做好准备。在自己看不不明白的地方做个标记，特别是语文和英语一定要在课前读几篇课文。引用妈妈话说：“先跟这些新知识混个脸儿熟。”二、课上集中精力认真听讲。不能再像三年级以前那样。知识比较简单，所以有时候感觉会了就不想听了，或者是走神儿了。课堂上不放过老师讲的任何知识点。课后再把作业做完，这样学到的知识就不会忘了。三、课后认真复习，增加自己的阅读量，多看些有意义的书。在新的学期里，我一定改正之前会了就不用写了这种不好的心态，按时完成老师布置的每一项作业。读书这也是一种增长自己知识的好方法。一些国内外名着都蕴含了深刻的教育意义，不但增长知识面，还能引导自己心理健康成长。
