一)、审好题

人们常说：“磨刀不误砍柴功”。审题是写作的开始，是写好作文的前提条件，“好的开始是成功的一半”，议论文写作也不例外。只有明确题目要求，确立观点，确定论证方法及全文段落安排，才可能成功写出一篇好的议论文。如果写偏了题，再精心的构思、再好的语言表达也是枉然。审题主要包括六个方面：一是判断议论文所属类型。英语议论文根据命题特点，从形式上来看可分为如下类型: ①“一分为二”的观点。如：“轿车大量进入家庭后，对家庭、环境、经济可能产生的影响”。②“两者选一”的观点。如：“乘火车还是乘飞机”。③“我认为……”型，如：“你对课外阅读的看法”。④“怎样……(how to)”型，如：“怎样克服学习中碰到的困难”。⑤ 图表作文，通过阅读图表中的数字与项目得出一个结论或形成一种看法(杨家贵，2005)。二是确立该文的论点或作者须持的观点，以及支撑论点的道理和事实。三是确定全文所包括的要点。四是确定段落数及每段适用的连接词、过渡句，使文章连接紧凑、过渡自然、层次分明。五是选择全文主要时态及各段适用的其它时态。六是判断该文的格式，是书信还是短文。审题完毕，随即列出提纲。

二)、注重主题句的设置

主题句又叫中心句(topic sentence)，是段落的论点，限制段落中议论的范围，是整个段落的纲领。主题句必须要正确，要明确表明作者赞成什么，反对什么。主题句在一篇百来字的议论文中好比“画龙点睛”，帮助作者分层次阐述自己的观点，让读者快速了解作者的观点。

1、确定主题句的位置

英语议论文的主题句宜设在段首第一句，这是由以下两个因素决定的。1)、主题句出现的位置有三种情况：①在段首，以便读者浏览主题句就可掌握文章的概要，这个位置适用于写提供信息或解释观点的段落;②在段末;③段中(高长梅，2000)。2)、英语民族的思维特点是常采用路标式(直线式)篇章结构，即主题句在段首。

2、写出好的主题句

教官对我们是严格的，他不断纠正我们细节上的错误。比如说他会时刻提醒我们立正的时候要把中指紧贴裤缝，要抬头平视前方。这样才能体现一个军人的真正的灵魂。

同时，教官对我们又是关心的。他会时刻注意我们的神情，如果有同学脸色不好，教官便马上命力她休息。

从今天开始，我校07级的同学们将展开为期十天的军训，在这不同寻常的十天里，我们华东师大广播台将围绕同学们的军训生活，制作和播出一系列军训特别节目，陪伴大家一同走过这必将另我们终身难忘的十天。

众所周知，军训是大学生活中一项十分重要的活动，是每个大学生都必须经历的。其实，说到军训，同学们想必都不陌生。初中、高中入学时，学校都会组织新生参加军训。现在回想起来，当时的点点滴滴都还历历在目。那些可爱的人，那些有趣的事，当时的辛苦与欢乐。都依然生动而清晰，一切都仿佛就发生在昨天似的。

然而，眼前的大学军训对于我们，却又都是完全陌生的。面对这未知的挑战，不知同学们此刻的心情如何呢?是对即将来临的艰苦训练怀有一点小小的恐惧，还是在忐忑不安中又跃跃欲试?我想，更可能是两者都有吧。

纹丝不动地挺直身子，站在空旷的操场上接受炎炎烈日的暴晒，间或伴着魔鬼教官的口令，重复枯燥乏味的立正、齐步走、跑步立定等动作，想必这就是大多数同学对于军训的印象吧，坦白说，这些内容的确是无趣并且折磨人的。也正是因为这样，有些同学就会在心底产生对军训的不理解甚至抵触的情绪。

想来也是，这仅仅十天的军训对个人的成长能产生多大的帮助呢?高温酷暑中的短期高强度训练对青年的身体健康是利大还是弊大呢?简单得不能再简单的队列操练，对于祖国的国防建设，又能起到多大的实际作用呢?

既然存有那么多的疑问，我们为何还必须接受军训，军训的意义又究竟何在呢?

大学生军训的重要意义，首先在于它是履行法规的一种形式。

大学生接受国防教育，参加军事训练，学习军事科学知识，是法定的公民义务。我国现行的《中华人民共和国兵役法》第43条规定：“高等院校的学生在就学期间，必须接受军事训练”。我国新颁布的《中华人民共和国国防教育法》第15条规定：“高等学校，高级中学和相当于高级中学的学校应当将课堂教学与军事训练相结合，对学生进行国防教育。” 这些规定从法律的高度明确了高等学校学生在就读期间接受军事训练，学习军事科学知识的责任和义务。国家兴亡，匹夫有责，自觉接受军事训练，努力学好军事科学知识，正是青年学生履行保卫祖国的神圣义务的具体行动。大学生应自觉地承担起这一光荣的职责。

大学生军训也是培养人才素质的重要措施。

当代大学生，尤其是独生子女、来自大城市的同学，或多或少都有诸如：以自我为中心，缺乏吃苦耐劳的意志品质等这样那样的缺点与不足，而这不仅妨碍了个人的成才，也不利于社会的发展。通过军事训练，着重提高学生的思想政治觉悟，激发爱国热情，发扬革命英雄主义和集体主义精神，增强国防观念和组织性、纪律性。掌握基本的军事知识和技能，为造就社会主义四化建设所需的各类人才，为把学生培养成为有理想有道德有纪律的社会主义新人打好基础。

Those, however, are not what college life is all about. As we all know, college is wildly different from middle school. 来到寝室，给我的第一感觉是小，不到七十平米的房间内囊括了卫生间、洗漱台、柜子、桌子等设施；第二感觉是人多，小小的寝室竟然奇迹般地容纳下了十个人！所以整体感觉就一个字——挤。身处寝室，竟有了在外打工的打工仔们的味道，被老板安排在廉价拥挤的出租房内。实乃一大乐事。寝室的兄弟们来自“五湖四海”，泸州的涛哥说话很“泸州”，每个字发音短促且“i”“ian”不分，比如“梯田”这个词语在他口中就成了“梯提”。巴中的邦治兄说话带有浓重的鼻音，并且夹带卷舌，每次说话都能把我们逗乐。他不负“邦治”这个名字，总是喜欢和我们高谈天下风云 时政要闻，全球形势，兴国安邦之事。广元的郑哥发音低沉，也带有卷舌音和转音，是我们寝室，乃至我们班说话最难听懂的一个，别看他外表阳刚，性格豪迈，其实是内心非常敏感的一个人。峰哥是成都金堂的，说话与成都人无二，为人处事很成熟，深谙世道。另外，我们寝室有一位彝族兄弟沙马五且，我们都亲切地叫他“老沙”或者“沙师弟”，他身上有着彝族人的开朗与率真，为人热情和善，对每个人都是笑脸相迎，每个人对他的评价也都是“老沙是个好人”。其它兄弟在此不一一列举，否则有凑字数之嫌（这篇文章是科目考试的论文）。我真心地为有这样一帮兄弟而高兴自豪，前世的几百次回眸才换来今天的擦肩而过，所以前世脖子都扭断了，今天才能遇见你们，我会好好珍惜的！
