During this winter vacation I had the opportunity to read the book Gone with the Wind. It is a great novel written by American author Margaret Michell in the 1930s. It’s a story about southern living in the US during the Civil War. I especially like Scarlett O’Hara, who was a b-willed southern woman. She was brought up in a rich family who owned many slaves and a large plantation. Everyone is born with his or her kindness. That maybe the main reason for Mr. Clark"s student"s changing their minds. Together with Mr. Clark"s creation and his encouragements to his students, he gets to be successful.

Mr. Clark knows clearly that the children are all very kind in their heart bottoms. Then he tries to use his true love and expectations for them t make them moved. We all know that one"s habits or minds are quite difficult to change. Although during it Mr. Clark also feels depressed, things get to be better after his perseverance.

Then, Mr. Clark hasn"t been limited in the traditional way of teaching. He combines the history events with rap, which was so popular in the children. And the effect is so obvious. The children can remember them easily.

Besides, the children get to be more confident because of his encouragement. Once one has been confident, his or her potential ability comes out easily. Then they are sure to do a good job. That"s just what they do in their exam.

In my point of view, Mr. Clark"s true love, perseverance, creation and encouragements bring him his success. And it seems that sure of them are true of many other thins.

On the fourth Thursday of November, Thanksgiving Day, I made an envelope on the day of Thanksgiving, which read: the gift that wang xiyuan gave her. 从羊有跪乳之恩到李密《陈情表》侍亲至孝，从鸦有反哺之孝到孔子“百善孝为先”。感恩敬孝，一直是中华传统之美德，更是是做人之基本准则。胸怀感恩敬孝之心，饮水思源，进而知恩尽孝不忘本，均乃中华孝道之本，也为灾本。敬孝不仅是人之美德，也是中国人品德形成基础，更是当今政治文明、经济文明、精神文明建设不可忽视的精神支柱和精神力量。

敬孝，一直是社会与家庭义不容辞的责任和义务；敬孝，也是人类与生俱来的自然情感。我们每个人都会垂垂老去，今日敬孝他人，他日被人敬孝！古人对“孝道”极为重视的，早在春秋战国时期，孔子就提出了“百善孝为先”理念，不仅如此，古代也更有举孝廉之说，也就是用“孝廉”来选拔官员。古人认为：“忠臣必出孝悌之家”。即一个真正懂得孝亲的人，都会有一颗感恩心，诚敬心，也会形成重情重义、感恩思源的价值观。事实上，许多事例也印证了这一观点，古今中外，许多有出息，大有作为之人，大凡都是忠孝两全。我们的伟大领袖毛主席也曾深情感叹：生我者父母也。敬孝感恩之情，溢于言表。伟人思想，我们可以仰望，更可以为榜样。

孟子也说过：“老吾老以及人之老，幼吾幼以及人之幼。”其意思就是在人与人相处中，应当推己及人，推恩及人，使孝道得以升华。最终上升至社会的友爱温馨、和谐安定。在我们当今社会，和谐稳定是实现中华民族复兴大业重要保证，而维护和谐，也是需要这种由此及彼，胸怀至诚感恩之心。感恩与和谐相伴，感恩之心会有力的化解人与人之间的鸿沟，甚至人与自然之间的矛盾。一个心怀感恩的人，他一定会善待生活，善待他人，积极的面对各种困难的。而如果人人胸怀感恩，社会就会更加美好、更加和谐。有人说：“生活就是一面镜子，你笑他也笑，你哭他也哭。”感恩也如是，当你置心感恩时，你就会觉得有些抱怨是无谓的，有些烦恼是不应该的，有些困难是可以征服的，有些困难是暂时的，你感激上天赐你食物，感谢社会如此美好，进而感恩党的无限恩情。感恩敬孝，回报社会，让牢记党恩成为有根之木，有源之水。

美好生活思党恩，这是我们当代人的心声，更是现今灾区人民心声，从三峡工程到西部大开发，从发射“东方红”卫星到在人宇宙飞船升空，从抗击冰雪到抗震救灾，我们党总是站在第一线，英勇奋进，时刻为人民着想，永远充当人民的保护神，XX年年5月12日，我国四川发生特大地震灾害，灾情就如命令，时间就是生命。党和国家快速反应，成立坚强指挥部，百位将军临阵指挥，举国齐动员。迅速开展了不抛弃，不放弃，为一线希望，尽百倍努力的救援工作！我们的党时刻心系灾区，心系灾民，我们的领导人更是在余震不断中亲临灾难现场指挥救援。当每一个鲜活的生命被救起时，许多人泪流满面，全国人民为此兴奋，我们因感恩而流泪，我们为我们父母兄弟姐妹得救而兴奋，在祖国的大家庭里，我们都是亲人！我们的亲人得以重生，我们应该牢记党恩。

作为文化部门的一员，我们应该认识自我，反省自我，学会感恩，以感恩的态度去工作，去面对困难。服从领导，听从指挥，用感恩的心去消除与上级的对立关系，刻尽职守，无私奉献，用感恩的心去化解工作中的消极怠工，麻痹大意。顾大舍小，弃利取义，用感恩的心来实现为人民服务的承诺。文化部门是我们政府的一个重要部门，繁荣文化生活，是我们的责任，面对这么重大的责任，我们更应该怀有博大仁慈感恩之心，努力工作，感恩父母，感恩群众，感恩党的领导。在当前构筑和谐社会之时，我们文化部门也应该积极响应，从文化的角度，来引导民众学会感恩，特别是让年轻人懂得感恩、会感恩、乐感恩。

我们感恩父母，父母生我养我，我们感恩中国共产党，中国共产党是一盏明灯，领导着全国人民过上了幸福生活，感恩不仅仅是一种口号，感恩应该发自内心，发自对内心对敬孝的新诠释，来自内心对生活的无限热爱，出自对党的由衷感恩。我们要用“感恩脚步”走出属于自己的人生路，牢记党恩，回报社会，为构建和谐社会奉献自己的绵薄之力。在我们的改革开放和现代化建设中，我们也应该将孝道文化精神与爱国主义、社会主义紧密结合起来，以报效祖国和人民，不断推进中国特色社会主义伟大事业。
