It is on the 15th of the 8th of the lunar month. Now, lets say something about this interesting festival.

Firstly, Id like to say something about the moon. I like it very much because I want to be an astronaut in the future. That day the moon is round, big, just like a beautiful plate hanging on the blue cloth. When I see the moon, I will remember the ancient myths——the godess Chang Er and her little rabbit are playing under the tree which Wu Gang grows. I will also think about Armstrongs first moonwalk. I will also miss the friends in Tai-wan island, in Macao and Chinese people who are abroad. I know they are missing us very much, too.

Secondly, I11 say something about the tradition on Mid-Autumn Day. Look!Theres a big tree in a garden of a Chinese fami-ly. All the family members are sitting around a big table under the tree in the open air. They are eating the mooncakes and admiring the full moon in the sky. That is a family reunion dinner. The mooncakes and the moon represent the love from a family. I think this is one of the most valuable things in the world.

Thirdly，it is a very good opportunity to make three wishes on Mid-Autumn Day. My wishes are: the first, I, an astronaut in the future, would like to go to the moon one day, and stay with the sky and stars; the second, I hope every person in the world will stay with family, share love from the family forever; the third, I hope everybodys dream will come true.

沿着月光的颜色

今天是一年一度的中秋节。傍晚，夜幕开始慢慢降临。一开始，月亮的颜色很浅，接着，变得深了起来，发出的光芒也越来越亮。最后，一轮明月像一个巨大的盘子挂在那高高的、深蓝色的天空上，柔和的月光犹如一块透明的白纱笼罩着大地，真美啊! 人们的心情也格外的好，因为今天是团圆的日子，平日各自奔忙的家人能坐在一起赏月、吃月饼。

奶奶准备了一桌丰盛的晚餐，吃完饭后，我们把月饼搬到阳台上，这时月亮已经格外的圆、格外的亮了，奶奶告诉我，吃月饼要看着月亮，这样眼睛会变得更明亮，我们一家人静静地坐在一起，吃着月饼、看着月亮，那种感觉是那么的温暖。我喜欢中秋的意境。 圆圆的月光之下，人们品尝着节日的美食，谈论收获的话题。一边赏月，一边思念身处异乡的亲人。实所谓：“每逢佳节备思亲”。

一颗颗小巧玲珑的星星，亮着淡淡的光，似无数钻石，星罗棋布地镶嵌在一块硕大的蓝宝石上。在群星簇拥下，月亮走上了天幕，它步履轻盈，体态端庄，像一位羞答答的少女，用白纱遮住了自己秀美的脸庞。而一颗颗小星星仿佛要缠着月亮讲故事，不住眨着的眼睛中透出了几分天真。在这浩瀚无垠的星空下面，则又是另一番景致。

夜，静极了，玉盘似的满月在云中穿行，淡淡的月光洒向大地。这深蓝的天幕是那么迷人，那么神秘，那么美丽。我注视着空中的月亮，不由得发出了感叹：中秋的月亮圆极了、亮极了，连月亮上斑驳的阴影也清晰可辨。好像看见美丽的嫦娥正坐在桂花树下，遥望着美好的人间，思念着亲人。

明月低低地浮在澄净如洗的空中，离我那么近，仿佛一伸手便可以摘下。它又是那么圆，圆得似乎要凸出来了。它那金色的柔光泻在大地上，显得好美啊!顿时我觉得那月儿特别亮，亮得清纯，亮得透明，亮得刚健。圆圆的月，清亮而温柔，把一些软光儿轻轻地送到树枝上。十五的圆月像一只雪球，镶嵌在墨蓝墨蓝的夜空上，显得格外皎洁。那月亮圆圆的，像纺车，纺着它浪漫的遐想。月光使大地在一片朦胧的绸子里，披上一层美好的纱巾，使死沉沉的夜具有一种韵味。月光，像一匹银色的柔纱，从窗口垂落下来。一缕轻柔的月光透过窗子，洒落在窗台上，窗台宛如镀了银。

月亮在云中穿行，时而给大地洒下一片银辉，时而给人们丢下一个诗句。我不禁吟诵起了李白的《古朗月行》：小时不识月，呼作白玉盘。又疑瑶台镜，飞在青云端。仙人垂两足，桂树作团团。白兔捣药成，问言与谁餐......

我喜欢中秋的意境。它每年都能给我带来新的感受，新的体验，新的收获。我愿意在这种意境中感受亲人的关爱，品味生活的哲理，体会家乡日新月异的变化。我喜欢中秋的意境。因为那既是收获的积蓄，又是收获的开端。说它是积蓄，是由于夏收才过不多时候。说她是开端，是因为秋天迈着她硕果累累的脚步迎面而来，融着人们内心即将收获的欣喜。

我喜欢中秋节，喜欢它的意境，喜欢它的一切!沿着月光的颜色，让我继续寻找新的收获、新的感慨。

八月十五是中秋节，所以被称为中秋或仲秋。八月十五的月亮比其他几个月的满月还要圆，要明亮，所以又叫做“月夕”，“八月节”。中秋前夕，人们都尽可能和家人团聚，取人月双圆的意义，八月十五又叫“团圆节”。

中秋节是汉族和少数民族的民间传统节日。早在三代时期我国就有“秋暮夕月”的习俗。夕月，即祭拜月神。到了周代，每逢中秋夜都要举行迎寒和祭月。在唐代，中秋赏月，玩月颇为盛行。南宋，民间以月饼相赠，取团圆之义，晚上，有赏月、游湖等活动。明清以来，中秋节的风俗更加盛行，许多地方形成了烧斗香、树中秋、点塔灯、放天灯、走月亮。舞火龙等特殊风俗。今天，月下游玩的习俗，已很少了。但设宴赏月仍很盛行，人们把酒问月，庆贺美好的生活，或祝远方的亲人健康快乐，和家人“千里共婵娟”。

古时还有祭月和拜月活动。设大香案，摆上月饼、西瓜、苹果、梨，葡萄等祭品，其中月饼和西瓜是绝对不能少的。西瓜还有切成莲花状，在月下，将月亮神像放在月亮的那个地方，红烛高燃，全家人依次拜祭月亮，然后由当家主妇切开团圆月饼，切的人预先算好全家共有多少人，不能切多也不能切少。月饼与中秋节的联系是在明代。具有关资料说，当时，北京城市里出现了一种以果做馅的月饼，而人们在中秋节这一天自己制作月饼，用于自身和赠于亲朋好友，以表达团圆和祝贺之意。那时的月饼大小和形状很不规范，差别甚大，其名称也颇特别。比如，山西省介县一带在中秋节这天，当地老百姓已有合家围坐分食团圆月饼的习俗其制作的月饼名堂多且有趣，如有专供男的食用的月牙月饼，有只限于女的享用的葫芦月饼，还有特别为小孩们准备的“孙悟空”，“兔儿爷”之类的月饼，等等。名目繁多，不一而足。

中秋节的习俗很多，形式也各不相同，但都寄托着人们对生活无限的热爱和对美好生活的向往。中秋节是人们一直都喻为最有人情味，最有诗情画意的一个节日。有人说，每逢佳节倍思亲，中秋节这一份思念当然会更深切，尤其是一轮明月高高挂的时刻。

Ancient legends(古代的传说) that became interwoven with this festival‘s celebration further contribute to the warm regard in which it has always been held by the Chinese people. According to the lunar calendar(农历)， the seventh， eighth， and ninth months constitute the autumn season. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month， precisely in the middle of this season， when the heat of the summer has given way to cool autumn weather， marked by blue skies and gentle breezes. On this day the moon is at its greatest distance from the earth; at no other time is it so luminous. Then， as the Chinese say， “The moon is perfectly round.” In the villages the heavy work involved in the summer harvest has already been completed but the autumn harvest has not yet arrived.

The actual origins of the Mid-Autumn Festival are still very unclear. The earliest records are from the time of the great Han dynasty emperor Wu Di， who initiated celebrations lasting three days， including banquets and “Viewing the Moon” evenings on the Toad Terrace. We know that people during the Jin dynasty (265-420 A.D.) continued the custom of Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations， and similar accounts have come down to us from the time of the Tang dynasty. During the Ming dynasty (1368-1644) houses and gardens were decorated with numerous lanterns and the sound of gongs and drums filled the air.
