看完这本书后，我的心情久久不能平静，文中主人公的年龄和我一样大，可是，和他相比，我们的生活是多么的幸福，但是我们却还是不满足，遇到一点小小的困难，就放弃，缺少意志力。我要学习奥利弗尔的坚强品质，克服一切艰难险阻，珍惜现在的一切，刻苦学习，成为一个对社会有用的人。

After I read the book that is called “The old man and the sea” I was deeply moved by the old man and his spirit.

The book written by Hemingway tells us a story that an old man whose name is Santiago went out to do some fishing on the sea on his own but down on his luck he hadn’t caught any fish for 84 days. Next day he caught a huge marlin which is bigger than his boat and took a formidable battle with it. He beat it at the end. When he was on the way home the smells of blood of the marlin draw a lot of sharks’ attention and they fought for it. In order to protect the marlin and him the old man tried his best to fight with them. After a cruel fight he won it and came back home tiredly. Although he only got a skeleton of the giant marlin at last he is also a great hero in many people’s heart.

In the article the old man is a great man. Although he failed for many time in his life he never gave up. He is a steel-willing man who insisted his dream and work hard. You can destroy him but you can’t beat him. Whatever he faced to he would never yield to the difficult which shows a strong spirit.

In our lives I think we should learn something from the old man which will make us have a more valuable life. Whenever and wherever we meet trouble we should never give up and try our best to overcome it. We should always keep on our dream and make it come true. Every one has his backbone which can’t be bended by anyone which is very important for everyone in his whole life. If we meet difficulty in our life we should face it bravely and work out some way to solve the problem whatever would happen at last. We can be destroyed but we can’t be beat by anything or anyone. If you failed for many times in your life you wouldn’t surrender because if you try to do it you may succeed in your life but if you do not do it you would not be succeed forever. Everyone has his advantages and disadvantages in his life but we should face to our disadvantages and we must be confident which would also make us be confident of our life. We should have faith in what we do in our life we will have a more beautiful life in the future and our dream will come true. We should pay more attention to what we do during our life rather than what we will get at the end because I think it is more important than any thing you get finally. If you enjoy you life not something you get you will have a meaningful life and a noble spirit. It will hurt you when you pay more attention to what you get in the future. It will also make you do something wrong which is bad for other people our society and our country.

I’m impressed by the sentence which is “We can be destroyed but we can’t be beat.” I think everyone should do it no matter what happen in our life. This book makes me know something I didn’t know in the past. The book and the old man have a great influence in my life. I love this book.

还有白骨精这个老娘们说明当时人很迷信，人死了灵魂不死，可借尸还魂，反衬当时社会败落;《西游记》里的女妖们都很漂亮，像什么：玉容娇嫩、美貌娇娆、玉指纤纤，手托香腮，(oh，mygad，我受不了啦!)而猪八戒又很好色。

说明古代有很多勾引男人的女人，靠美女来完成大事。古代有多少人败在女人手里，比如商朝纣王、周幽王烽火戏诸侯、李自成冲冠一怒为红颜(这些女人，红颜祸水，哎!)可谓英雄难过美人关啊!所以说《西游记》不是一本娱乐书而是一本讽刺小说。(讽刺，对，太讽刺了!鼓掌!)

最后被八戒用禅法救活了。八戒就在这时想散伙回家，他说红孩儿的三昧真火实在是太厉害了，连大师兄都快被熏死，就算我们三人一起斗，也未必斗得过红孩儿的三昧真火。这时悟空阻止了说：“我们跟着师傅，一路保护他，为他斩妖除魔，现在我们半途而废，前面不白幸苦了吗?所以我们一定要救出师父!我们可以去请人!”最终他们同心协力说服了红孩儿，让他改邪归正救出了师傅!

看了唐僧师徒经历的这一件事后，让我知道了如果当时大家都听了八戒的话真的散伙了，他们的师傅不仅会被红孩儿给吃掉，而且他们也不能修成正果，取得真经，前面就白幸苦了。一番细想，我们现在做一件很困难的事情。

However, unlike other ones, this story first delineates the client’s strange behavior at length to indicate the severity of the incident in order to attract the readers to continue reading it. As is known to all, vivid depiction is essential to detective stories since it can help the readers understand each figure’s characteristics and visualize the scenes, thus making the story more authentic and attractive. Therefore, trying to present a “real world” to his readership, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, author of the original “Holmes series”, has skillfully arranged the plots of the whole story from the perspective of Dr. Watson, a character not so specialized in discovering the truth hidden behind the enigmatic happenings as Holmes but so loyal to Sherlock Homes as a friend that he always accompanies Holmes wherever he goes. In this way, he elaborately depicted every scene and character in the book, Apart from the special start, the ending of the whole story, being dramatic but reasonable, is certainly an outstanding one. After all, except the author himself, who knows that the Duke’s seemingly ordinary secretary is in fact the Duke’s bastard? In addition, who knows that the Duke actually has already been acquainted with the whole thing before Holmes solves this complicated problem? Yet, surprising as it is, this ending seems so natural that it fits all the plots of the story perfectly well. While enjoying this wonderful story, I could do nothing but admire the wonderful design of this masterpiece as well as the author’s gorgeous writing skill. Closing my eyes, I can even “see” the story happening just like watching a film. Not until then did I understand why the Japanese cartoon film Detective Conan used this “Conan” as the name of its hero.

As far as I am concerned, nothing is more admirable and surprising in the hero Sherlock Homes than his profound knowledge which has certainly assisted him a lot when he was studying the case. Take the bicycle tyres for instance, Holmes actually is capable of recognizing 42 different varieties of bicycle tyres. What’s more, according to his other stories, Holmes has studied different kinds of newspapers, cigarettes, people’s footprints and other special things as well. Therefore, he seems to have the mastery of anything relevant to the cases he deals with. Except for his illimitable knowledge, Holmes also specializes in arranging the facts in order and then finding the fact leading him to a great discovery or even the truth itself. From his speaking “Every mystery has an answer”, we can readily shape the impression of a man with great intelligence and inflexible will. In this case, after getting rid of unrelated facts, Sherlock Homes eventually grasped the clue and discovered the amazing fact.

Needless to say, as a world-renowned masterpiece, Sherlock Holmes and the Duke’s Son has attracted and is still charming numerous readers from all corners of the world and people from all walks of life. The “Holmes series” has already set up a standard against which all the following detective fictions are measured. Sherlock Holmes, beyond all doubt, has become a name firmly rooted in people’s memories. Although Dr. Watson’s closing The Case Book of Sherlock Holmes in 1927 was a great pity to the readers, the discontinuance of the entire “Holmes series” may have actually added to the legendary stature of Sherlock Holmes.

其中我最喜欢孙悟空，应为他非常勇敢，天不怕，地不怕，忠心地保护着师傅去西天拜佛求经。他的头脑很机灵，而且喜欢路见不平，拔刀相助。但是他有一个缺点，就是非常冲动，就因为如此，唐僧就常常念紧箍咒，使得他疼痛难忍。

下面我喜欢的就是沙僧，因为他忠厚老实，也不贪图荣华富贵，对唐僧更是忠心耿耿，他可以拼了命地保护唐僧。

我不喜欢猪八戒的好吃懒惰，贪图荣华富贵和美色。喜欢他但他对唐僧的忠心。我喜欢唐僧在取经的路上不受任何诱惑和阻力。不管是金钱还是美色，他都当作一堆泥土。就算前方有一大堆妖魔鬼怪，他也毫不恐惧，一心只想取得真经。他的这种精神实在让人佩服。但我不喜欢他有时却不分青红皂白地冤枉别人。

通过读《西游记》这本书，我知道了：做每件事都要目标专一而不三心二意，持之以恒而不半途而废，就一定能够达成我们的梦想。

I felt that I was deeply fascinated by it soon after I had read it.

I first read it in a summer. I did not finish it at a single sitting. However, the moment I finished it, near midnight in a sweltering August day, with my body poured with sweat, held my breath to turn the last page over, shut the book and heaved a sigh of relief, I just could not express how I felt. All were over: trouble was over; lives were over; hopes were over. I was shocked how such a small book could contain such a complicated story. Never were wars, diseases and starvation ever nakedly exposed to me like this. The turns in plots were surprising but natural.

It was a tragedy: Just as its name suggested, everything was gone with the wind, including families’ touch, friends’ support, sweethearts’ gaze and youth with vigour. The story reminds us of valuing all we were possessing. A life lasts for a short time and anything in it lasts shorter. We always lose something unconsciously and then feel regretful when we need them later.

Characters in the story were so vivid as if they had been going to jump out of the story, as if they had been existed in the real life at first.

Said Scalett O’hara, the most wonderful woman I’ve ever seen. She was hard and greedy and unscrupulous, a brave, frightened, bull-headed child. Though she only thought about how to attract man’s attention and did not do anything useful before the war, she did surprise me when I read about her doings after the war. At that time, her Tara was just reduced to ashes. Everyone sketched out their hands and asked her for food. She bravely faced the reality and rebuilt Tara with her own hands. What a tough woman, I thought. Though those she loved were all gone, she was still full of hope. When Rett didn’t love her anymore and wanted to leave her, she said “I mustn’t bawl… even if he doesn’t love me.” A woman’s dignity could be seen from what she have said and done. That’s why I appreciate her.

This novel gave me too much to think about and I can not fully express myself in English. It is true that reading an origin is more vivid than the translated ones. However, my English level limits me to understand the origin well without the translated. But I will work hard in order to understand better.

The novel is my treasure, forever, because I find myself in Scarlett and find the world I live in inside the story.

That’s really an excellent novel, with an ending from which you can see hope rising from despair.

这本书是一八六四年法国儒勒·凡尔纳的科幻小说。这本书讲述的是德国的黎登布洛教授发现了一张萨克努姗写的密码信，萨克努姗是一位16世纪时冰岛的学者，还是一位著名的炼金术士！黎登布洛克教授解开密码之后，就要带着他的侄子阿克赛和向导汉斯一起从冰岛的斯奈弗火山口下降到两千八百英尺的地下深处，开启了他们的地下探险。他们在地下经历了很多的困难：缺水、迷路、暴风雨、断粮……他们在一场暴风雨时，风浪把他们的行李都木筏上冲下地中海了，他们只剩下气压表和计时器了！虽然他们都饥肠辘辘但是他们在火山爆发时回到了地面。这本书里，我十分佩服的是黎登布洛克教授，他为了去地下深处，不怕困难；我也很喜欢阿克赛，他一开始很害怕，但是他没有退缩，他和黎登布洛克教授完成了这一次的探险；最后我还要学习向导汉斯的生存技巧，这样，我就可以在危险的时候保护自己或帮助别人。只要我有了这三个人的品质，我就可以成为聪明勇敢的人了。

我希望大家也能抽时间来读一读这本科幻小说它能让大家拥有，一颗好学、勇敢、乐观的心。

Everyone should have a belief in his heart about life, beauty, and noble humanity. This is what Gump told me, who is a true man full of courage ,love, and sincerity in my mind.

Life is a box of chocolate and we can never know what it is inside before we open it. Just as Mrs Forrest put it, everyone has a destiny. As for Gump, he was thought to be a perfect fool since he was young. While, after watching the movie, I can not help but admire this young guy because of his braveness to deal with obstacles, his consistence to love and his devotion to friendship. Stupid he might seem to be, Gump gave a meaningful lesson to us who are what called more intelligent people.

Born as a boy with natural defects, Gump eventually accomplished plenty of achievements which we ordinary people can not approach. With a plain thought and natural optimism, Gump just did what he was good at, running as fast as he could, struggling toughly against destiny with all the facilities he had been given. To our surprise, he eventually graduated from college, got a military medal, became one of the best pingpong players around America and even owned a huge shrimp company. To tell the truth, I can not help but shed tears several times when I watch the moving scene where Gump rushed into dangerous forest again and again to save his battle companions. What great selfless devotion Gump showed us! Unfortunately, Bubble, one of the best friends of Gump died in the battle field, which left a great grief to Gum. While, after retiring from military service, Gum kept his promise and purchased a big shrimp ship in order to finish Bubble’ dream. Meanwhile, he also provided financial support to Bubble’ family. First Lieutenant Dan, a staunch soldier, who lost his two legs in Viet Nam , abandoned himself in the abyss of despair. Nevertheless, Gump still supported him and finally help him make peace with God. Gump told us that genuine friendship needs nothing but love and sincerity.

但是武功高强的悟空最终还是寡不敌众，被二郎神擒拿归案。小时候，看到这里，我郁郁寡欢，百思不得其解，悟空竟然也有失败的时候?他不是齐天大圣吗?于是爸爸妈妈告诉我，并非人人天生就可以神通广大，即使是悟空，也需要不断的学习和锤炼，才能够练就一身降妖伏魔的好本领。是啊，不经历风雨，怎能见彩虹，这是我从《西游记》中学到的道理。

沙和尚是唐僧三个徒弟中最老实的一个，他忠心耿耿，又非常警觉，在关键时刻还是能够保护师傅的。

师傅唐僧，不会七十二变，力气也没有猪八戒大，没有沙和尚的勤快，但是他不怕千辛万苦，坚持不懈，最终取得了真经。

读了《西游记》，使我懂得了一个道理:每个人都有自己的优点和缺点，但是只要发挥自己的长处，坚持自己的目标，取长补短，就一定能够取得成功。我以后也要学习这种不怕困难、锲而不舍的精神，争取做好每一件事情。

其次，他仇恨一切兴妖作怪、残害人民的妖精魔怪。正如车迟国的众僧所称颂的：专秉忠良之心，铲除人间不平之事，“济困扶危，恤孤念寡”。他为车迟国的五百名无辜的和尚解除了灾难;在白丘国，他降服了白鹿精救出了一千一百一十一个小孩子的性命，在隐雾山打死了豹子精，就出了贫苦的樵夫;他借了三次芭蕉扇，熄灭了火焰山的大火，既开通了西行的道路，又解救了当地人民的困苦。他对着唐僧总是委曲求全，哪怕是自己受尽了委屈，对取经的事仍然尽心竭力，对唐僧也是一如既往的关心；对猪八戒，他虽然不时挖苦讽刺，有时也捉弄一番，却也是善意的；可他对害人的妖精，却是毫不留情。

三打白骨精的片段，你们应该看过吧？三打白骨精时，尽管唐僧念紧箍咒使他疼痛难忍，甚至用断绝师徒情义来阻止，都动摇不了他对打白骨精的决心。

看了《西游记》里面的孙悟空，我明白了我们遇事要勇敢，要有决心，不要遇到困难就放弃，只有这样，才能成就一番事业。
