郭明义参军之前，只是初中学历。在部队时，他抓住“缝隙时间”学习英语。来到矿山工作后，他每天晚上都骑自行车往返20多公里，到市内的夜校学习。

1992年，国家“七五”重点建设项目——齐大山矿扩建工程进入开工准备阶段，郭明义又考入英语强化班进修一年。1993年工程开工后，他担任了33台、每台价值1000多万元、载重量154吨生产汽车——电动轮现场组装的英文翻译。

美国犹格里德公司澳大利亚售后技术服务部中国区总管，两次劝说郭明义到他所在的公司工作，并承诺给予比他当时收入高6至7倍的工资，可老郭不为所动，说：“我上党校、夜校、进修，都是企业支付的学费，还发给我补贴。我对企业有感情，我要回报企业，对企业的发展有信心。”

虽然电动轮的进口备件质量检验不归郭明义负责，但每次对着备件做翻译时，他都认真检查，先后发现了5台电动轮有质量问题。公司与外方据理力争，最终获得10万美元的赔偿。

Animals and human beings, we have thought, have feelings, also have their own way of life, more freedom.

We should not to destroy their peaceful and harmonious life, we have no right to destroy their life, of course, there is no reason to blame hurt them more.

Whenever we place series of delicious food on the table, such as: snakes, frogs, and other animals. Should we think of it, each of us to eat a kind of animal, how much is to go to farmers for banker harmful insects. We are not should the perspective-taking once, they are in a concerted effort to catch insects, can human beings not only ungrateful, instead put them as their food, as we human beings every day to make money, how they are evil!

Today, many of the earths biological already very rare, even have already endangered! If there are no animals on the earth, the earth will become what kind, humans will become like?

I think its time for us human to reflect, if continue like this, we will be the enemy of the animals, more dont talk about what "dances with wolves"

Human, hurry up wake up! Protect wild animals, now, still in time!

动物与我们人类一样，有思想，有感情，也有它们自己的生活方式，更有自由权。

我们不应该去破坏他们安详和谐的生活，我们也无权去破坏他们的生活，当然，更没有理由去指责伤害他们。

每当我们的饭桌旁摆上一道道香喷喷的菜，比如：蛇、青蛙、等动物。我们是不是应该想一想，我们每吃一种动物，就等于放走了多少对农民对庄家有害的虫。我们更是不是也应该换位思考一下，它们都在齐心协力的抓害虫，可人类不但不领情，反而把它们当做他们的食物，当作我们人类每天赚钱的东西，他们是多么可恶呀!

如今，地球上的许多生物已经很罕见了，甚至有的已经濒临灭绝了!如果地球上没有了动物，地球将会变成什么样，人类又将会变成什么样?

我想，是我们人类好好反省的时候了，如果再这样下去的话，我们将会成为动物们的敌人了，更别谈什么“与狼共舞”

人类，快点醒醒吧!保护野生动物，现在开始，还来得及!

The First Day in New Term

Today is September 3rd, the first day of the new semester. I am happy to see all of my classmates come back to school. Today is the first day for school, so we get our new textbooks. I open them generally and I find that I am interested in most of the contexts. Today we have Chinese, math, English, physics and so on. In the Chinese class, our teacher greets to us and then she suggests us talking about our holidays to others. All of us share the interesting things with classmates. I find that we all have a good holiday. I hope we can make progress in study together.

今天是9月3号，新学期的第一天。我很高兴看到所有的同学都已返校。今天是开学的第一天，我们领取了新的课本。打开课本我发现我对大部分的内容都感兴趣。今天，我们有语文，数学，英语和物理等课程。在语文课上，老师向我们问好然后建议我们向其他同学讲述我们的假期。所有人都和同学分享了有趣的事。我们都度过了愉快的假期。我希望我们能够在学习上一起进步。

In my eye, my father is so adorable, because he can give me advices and help me to make the best decision. My father experienced a lot. When he graduated from college, his first job was to work in the office, then he found life was boring to sit in the office all the day, so he decided to quit and then started his trip to many places. My father had been traveled to many places, he opened his vision and then went back home to find another job he liked. When he met my mother, he thought it was time to settle down. I was so interested in his life experience, I couldn’t help thinking what if I go with him. I must will meet many new persons and then see the beautiful scenery.
