记得有一天放学后，我正在家里写作业，忽然天阴了下来。我透过玻璃窗向窗外望去，乌云像一块巨大的黑布，把天空遮的严严实实的。那块“黑布”越来越低，天空好像要塌下来似的。紧接着，一阵狂风把小区绿化带里的小树吹得一摇一摆的，“刷”一道闪电划破了天空，雷声震耳欲聋。不一会儿，倾盆大雨就下了起来。

我不由得想起了妈妈，她上班的时候只穿了一件单薄的外衣，而且还没有带伞。我连忙拿起妈妈的厚外套和雨伞去停车场出口接她。我迎着狂风，冒着大雨向停车场跑去。路边的行人很少，偶尔有一两辆汽车从马路上开过，打破了雨天的沉寂。

快到停车场时，正巧有一个人快步向出口方向走去，我欣喜万分。我走进了一看，令我很失望——不是妈妈。我只好垂头丧气地站在那里。风越刮越猛，雨越下越大，我感觉全身发冷，牙齿也在打颤。心想：唉，怎么回事儿，妈妈怎么还不回来，不会又加班吧，也许还得等上很长时间呢！不如回去算了，待在这儿多冷啊！可是，我转念一想：妈妈平日为我操碎了心，今天我才为妈妈做了一件微不足道的小事就想半途而废，这也太不应该了！我决定要继续等下去。一个人两个人……一连好几个人从我身边走过，仍不见妈妈的身影……
