从南京出发，两小时的路程，就来到了我美丽的家乡——金湖。

春天悄悄地来到了人间，冰雪消融，万物复苏。小草从地面上冒了出来，小花漫山遍野全都是，一眼望去像美丽的花海。麦子绿油油的，农民们撒着肥料，真希望看到丰收的景象。

夏天来了，太阳像个大火球知了唱起了歌，从早到晚都不累。这时在湖泊里养的龙虾已经够肥的了，那就意味着现在是吃龙虾的季节。一盘大龙虾出锅了，放在我的面前，我就使劲地嗅着，赶紧吃一个。啊！味道好极了，这时节，金湖大街小巷都飘着龙虾的味道，家乡的象征——荷花正趁我们不注意的时候，微笑着展开了，粉得如霞，白的似雪，美丽极了。托着荷花的那碧绿的大荷叶，往荷叶中心倒一颗小水珠，晃呀晃呀，好可爱。

入秋了，红枫叶一排排站在那里，不时飘落几片枫叶落在湖面上，像一只只老旧的小船儿。远方有一处白色的云雾飘在那里。看见一只木船在那云雾里面。湖泊当起了一圈圈美丽的波纹，摘下眼镜，木船在那里消失不见了。金色的阳光照在谷子上，地上好像铺了一个大席子一样，稻草一堆一堆的堆积在那里，宛如一个个小山丘。这时正是丰收的季节。

冬天，雪花飞舞在大地上，我吆喝一声：“大家快来看，有厚厚的大棉被啦！”这下我们可乐了，堆雪人，打雪仗可真好玩呀。

这就是我的家乡金湖，一个美丽的地方，我爱我的家乡，更爱家乡一年四季的景色。

My hometown is a beautiful place. It stands beside a wide river and is rich in fish and rice.But in the old days it was a poor and backward little town.Many people had no work. They lived a hard life.In 1949 my hometown was liberated. Since then great changes have taken place there.The streets have been widened. Factories, schools, hospitals, cinemas and theatres have sprung up one after another.The life of the people is greatly improved.I love my hometown.
