农历五月初五为端午节，又称端阳节、午日节、五月节、艾节、端五、重午、午日、夏节。虽然名称不同，但各地人民过节的习俗是相同的。端午节是我国二千多年的旧习俗，每到这一天，家家户户挂艾叶菖蒲，赛龙舟，吃粽子，饮雄黄酒，游百病，佩香囊。

今天是端午节，大家知道端午节的来历吗?!不知道吧!那就让我来告诉你们吧!你们还记得楚国那位爱国大将屈原吗?我来说一说他吧!

屈原是战国时期出国人，很有学问。他在楚王身边做官，以形象是自己的国家富强起来。昏君楚王却听信奸臣的话，把屈原削职流放。在流放中，屈原听说楚国的都城被敌人占领，百姓遭难，悲愤极了。五月初五这一天，他来到汨罗江边，怀抱一块石头，以纵身跳入汨罗江中。出国的百姓听到屈原投江的消息，都十分悲痛。他们含着泪划着船赶来打捞屈原，还把粽子扔到江里喂鱼，希望鱼儿不要伤害屈原的身体。这就是五月端阳包粽子的来历。

端午节还有许多有趣的活动。列如赛龙舟，挂香囊，香囊内有朱砂、雄黄、香药，外包以丝布，清香四溢，再以五色丝线弦扣成索，作各种不同形状，结成一串，形形色色，玲珑夺目。还有挂艾叶、菖蒲的习惯。

端午节的活动可真多啊!

In the last several decades, our earth has been extremely polluted, such as air pollution, water pollution, noise pollution and so on. In recent years, the extreme weather becomes more and more frequent. Winter gets colder and summer becomes hotter and it rains more frequently. All of these warn us that protecting the environment is a serious and emergent event. As our general people, we should build proper lifestyle. We should pay attention to water and light saving. 顾欣艺是个乐于助人的人，班里只要有哪位同学遇到困难，第一个站出来的就是她。就拿不久前的英语测验来说吧!老师要求我们每位同学必须要用水笔答题。当我打开笔袋的瞬间，顿时傻了眼。糟了，水笔忘带了。我的心“咯噔”一下，着急地寻找起来。可是，我翻遍了整个书包也没有见到水笔的踪影，怎么办?此时的我急得像热锅上的蚂蚁，豆大的汗珠顺着额角直往下流，泪珠在我的眼眶里不停地打转。但胆小的我又不敢跟老师提起。就在这时，坐在我旁边的顾欣艺见到我这副模样，便小声地问道：“郭亚楠，你怎么了?””我忘带水笔了!”我难过地说道。“你就用我的吧，我正好带了两支笔。”顾欣艺悄声说道。只见，她边说边迅速打开笔袋，从两支水笔里挑选了一支成色更新的送到我的手里。我连忙向她投去了感激的目光。下课了，我连忙向她道谢。但是，她却说：“不用谢!我们是朋友，就应该互相帮助，而且在生活中每个人都会遇到困难，帮助别人的同时也等于帮助了自己，对吧?“
