寒假的一天

你见过山吗?山是高耸入云的。你见过海吗?海是宽阔无边的。大自然的伟大是让人们赞扬的，瞧，大自然把自己展现在池塘的舞台上。 Have you ever seen the mountain? The mountain is towering into the clouds.Have you seen the sea? The sea is wide and boundless.The greatness of nature is praised by people. Look, nature shows himself on the stage of the pond.

夏季，池塘里会搭起一个个小舞台荷叶，它不引人注目，也没有荷花的婀娜多姿，每次在池塘边站立，我却最喜欢观察它。一阵绵绵的细雨过后，放眼望去，满池的荷叶经过雨水的洗涤，翠色欲滴，袅袅娜娜。我站在池塘边向远处眺望，忽然一个亮点在我眼前闪过，跑近了一看，荷叶上有一滴水珠，它们像调皮的孩子，互相追逐嬉戏，一会儿滚作一团。我好奇地伸手摸一摸荷叶，咦，荷叶上一点儿也不湿，这是怎么回事呢?

我忍不住弯下腰去，凑近了仔细观察，荷叶表面有一层柔软的小绒毛，用手舀一点儿水，放在荷叶上。没想到这水一沾到荷叶全部变成了水珠，荷叶一动，水珠像珍珠似的从荷叶上纷纷掉下来，“嘀嗒”一声掉进了池塘。我明白了，就是这些绒毛让荷叶不被雨水淋湿!在雨点滚落到水中时，雨点儿还会带走灰尘。难怪荷叶会“出淤泥而不染，濯清涟而不妖”呢!

天空又开始淅沥沥地下起了雨，我撑起雨伞，有一点灵光在我脑海中闪过。每次下雨，我的雨伞都会被雨淋湿。如果把伞带到家里，放在地上，立刻会出现一滩水，走路时不当心，我们可能会滑倒;晚上撑开伞在客厅里晾着，不但占位置，还会让我们绊一跤。如果我能发明一把特别的伞，就可以解决这些问题了。

这把雨伞要选用很轻的材料做成，拿起来很轻便。伞的面上也有一些细微的绒毛，这些绒毛可以在雨天，不让雨淋湿伞。当我们撑着伞走到家门口，只要轻轻抖一抖伞，伞上的雨水会抱着那些灰尘，自己滚落下来。这样我们就可以把干燥而干净的雨伞拿回家了。

大自然像一本书，给了我们许多的启示。“一沙一世界，一花一天堂。”大自然的世界中，充满着奥秘，需要我们留心观察，仔细探索。

眨眼间，时间过得飞快。五一劳动节不知不觉到了我们身边。

在五一劳动节来临之际，我们全家准备把家里打扫一遍。大家都兴致高涨地干了起来。我拿起抹布洗干净后，把家里里里外外的瓷砖从上到下擦了一遍。我干的是那么认真，所以擦得很干净。妈妈用把扫把把地板扫的干干净净，一尘不染。接着爸爸用拖把把地板拖了一遍。妈妈又把所有的电器擦拭了一遍。不一会，在大家的齐心协力下，家中的大扫除告了一段落。

看着干干净净的家里，我的心里自豪极了。这是一个多么有意义的劳动节，多么令人难忘的一天!

The more cars we have, the more crowed the roads are. So the roads become wider and wider. Many overpasseshave been built in big cities. Chinese people’s life is much better than ever before. We have Tv sets, washing machines, fridges, even computers, cars etc.
