一、转换思维，确立英语在各学科中的重要地位

首先老师必须帮助学生确立这样的观点：英语是主课，不是豆芽课。在小学阶段，不论是老师，学生，还是家长，可能都看重语文，数学的学习。在小学的英语教学中，老师主要是以游戏为主，关键是学校和教育部门对英语的评估不如语文数学那样重视。所以学生普遍认为语文，数学很重要，英语是豆芽课，学英语就跟玩似的。到了中学，仍然主攻语数、理化，依然把英语当副科。一个学生亲口跟我说：我一直都以为初中英语跟小学一样，是豆芽课。我心痛不已。在入学之初，班主任和英语老师都应反复强调英语这一学科的重要性，让学生引起重视，才能为以后认真学习作好心理准备。

其次要纠正的一个观点是英语无用的观点。我们的老一辈是喊着：“学好数理化，走遍天下都不怕”;“我是中国人，不必学外文”的口号完成学业的。时至二十一世纪，虽然中国已改革开放多年，学英语之风已吹遍大江南北，但在我们这样的小地方，那些口号遗留下来的观点仍然存在。学生们仍然死抱数理化，对英语极其忽略。因为他们认为自己将来用不上英语的，既进不了外企，又成不了CEO，就更别说出国了。所以英语在毕业之后是基本无用的。殊不知，正是这一观点制约了他们的发展，如果他们学好了英语，其余各科也很优秀的话，他们是可以很好发展的，他们一定能走出小城，走向外面的大世界，实现他们更高的社会价值。所以老师应该讲道理，摆事实让学生明白学好英语的重要性。

二、背单词从科学方法入手，避免走弯路

很多初一新生按字母顺序背单词，有些老师也确实这么教的，比如自行车，bike,老师就领着学生念：B-I-K-E，bike。学生自然就学会了这样背单词，即使后来老师介绍了更科学的方法，学生却难改已经养成的习惯，这种方法就一直用到初三，乃至更高的年级。

初一单词量不算很多，本身课程比较轻松，有足够的时间，还能应付。到了高年级，单词量增加，课业加重。学生再也顾不上单词了，即使花了很多时间，单词还是记不住，这就影响了听说，阅读。成绩下降，兴趣降低，学习跟不上了，最终只好放弃学习英语。

老师应在学生开始学英语时就教学生科学背单词的方法，避免学生走弯路。我在了解了马承老师字母，音素，音标的三位一体教学法后，就教学生根据音标背单词。当对字母，音标熟悉到一定程度，只要会说那个单词，就基本上会拼写这个单词。看着生词也能准确的读出来，学生不必花大量时间在单词上。

老师还可以利用学生小学语文课上学的拼音，把汉语拼音和字母，音标建立适当的联系，有利于学生快速记住英语音标的读法和写法，能更快入门。

另外，有些学生一背单词，就翻到书后面的单词表，逐个记忆。其实这种单纯记忆单词是很容易遗忘的。我们老师应该引导学生多读课文，在课文中背单词。这样记下来的单词才能活用，也有利于培养学生的语感。

三、明确中英文化差异

任何一个民族都有其独特的文化和思维方式以及语言的构成方式。西方人的思维、习惯是有别于咱们中国人的，英语语言也是有别于汉语的。英语老师都明白这一点。但老师却没重视这种差异给学生学习带来的困惑。没有及时告诉学生这些差异，这就容易导致学生用中国人的思维方式去理解英语中的一些现象，而且百思不得其解。

我认为初一新生一入学就该明白这一点，学会接纳认同其他民族的文化，了解他们的思维方式，树立文化差异意识，避免用汉语套英语，用汉语的顺序说英语句子，用中国人的习惯去衡量西方人，造成很多考试中的失误和面对西方人时的尴尬。

因此，英语老师在教学中要注意文化的问题，在语言中教文化，在文化中教语言，使二者互相促进。文化的学习既是外语学习的目的，也是外语学习的手段。如果英语教学一旦提升到文化的高度，就会富有情趣。比如：西方人不喜欢“13”这个数字;在中国人眼里，红色是喜庆的，而在西方人眼里则是危险的标志。比如东西方人对赞美的回答，比如中国人和英国人在闲聊方面的话题选择等等都与文化有关。

四、养成大声阅读的习惯，杜绝哑巴英语

很多学生进校时精力充沛，兴趣浓厚，读英语很卖力，日子一长，兴趣没了，声音小了，到了二，三年级，就成默读了。有老师抱怨：早读课比晚自习还安静!

习惯成自然。老师让学生一开始就养成大声阅读的习惯，并随时观察，发现学生有读不出的时候要想办法。我曾在班上给学生讲李阳老师拿着喇叭带领一群人在长城上喊英语的故事，我也带领学生在早上喊读英语，经过几次练习，也颇有成效。

同时我在课堂上也要求学生大声说英语。一个有趣的活动是让教室里相隔甚远的两个同学随意问答，这也可以改变学生因害羞，害怕而不大声说英语的状况。

还有就是避免学文盲英语，有的小孩子读书，嘴里喊得响亮，眼睛没看到书上，即使知道怎么说，却写不出来，或者写别字，这种学法是必须要纠正的。

五、学会做笔记，好记性不如烂笔头

小学老师总告诉孩子们，把这记在这里，把那记在那里。中学老师不会这样告诉学生，这就要学生知道怎样做笔记。而且英语知识点相对零散，课堂上很容易理解和记住，却由于不是系统的，所以极容易遗忘，学生必须时时记笔记，经常复习。有些学生开始没养成记笔记的习惯，后来明明知道那是该写的东西，却懒得动手。考试时到处找别人的笔记来背，其效果当然不理想。

课堂上，老师首先教会学生基本的课堂用语，问候语。课后老师可以主动用简单的英语和学生打招呼。老师把目标语言呈现后要少讲解，多操练。操练的方式也是多种多样的，可以两人对话，可以小组对话，还可以实行男女生之间的对话。老师可以自己编一些简单有趣的句子写在黑板上，让学生读。也可以设置情景，让学生编对话。这些活动不仅可以提高学生听说读写的能力，也能提高学生学习兴趣。

大科学家达尔文说：关于方法的知识是最有用的知识。当今的学生在学校不仅要学习文化知识，更重要的是掌握获得知识的方法，以便可以及时更新自己的知识，保证终身的学习和提高。所以老师要在教学的过程中培养学生的自学能力。

在教了字母，音标之后，应该鼓励学生自己拼读，预习单词和课文，不知道意思的单词自己去查词典。初中阶段建议学生使用双语词典，要让学生有意识地去看英文注解。

培养学生自己总结知识的能力，自己总结已经学过的句型，短语。鼓励学生造出自己的句子，用英语表达自己的思想。

现在学英语的渠道很多，学生可以自己选择简单有趣的读物，磁带，光碟，或在网上下载简单的听力，还可以通过网络结交到笔友，在英语网站上学英语。只要正确选择使用这些东西，都可以提高英语，并且会让学英语变得越来越轻松。

I went to three cities to play during last summer holidays. They are

Beijing, Dalian and HuHehot.

I went to Beijing more than eight times. Beijing is the capital of China.

It’s a big city. I am very familiar with Beijing. It takes an hour and forty

minutes from Nantong to Beijing by plane. There are many tall buildings in

Beijing. It’s a modern city. My family visited the Great Wall, the Summer

Palace, the Palace Museum, the Beihai Park, the Space Museum, etc. I went to the

countryside of Beijing to go boating and fishing. It was very interesting. I

went shopping in WangFuJing. I bought lots of souvenirs and other things. I like

eating Beijing snacks. They are delicious. Don’t mithe Beijing Duck. It is

really nice.

Dalian is a beautiful city. Dalian is close to Beijing. I spent 5o minutes

on the plane. Dalian is near the sea. I smelled the salty taste in the air. The

roads are clean. There are lots of trees and flowers near the roads. There are

many esplanades and Japanese buildings. There are some fountains in one of the

esplanades. Some people flew kites and walked on the esplanades. We went to see

the beach and the sea. The sea is blue. There were many swimmers in the sea. I

lay on the beach to see the sky.Dalian is a very nice place to live.

Huhehot is in Inner Mongol. There are lots of large grasslands. The

grasslands are endless. The sky is bright blue. There were a lot of horses and

sheep. They were running or eating grass. I rode a horse on the graland. I

picked some colourful flowers. We drank the tea with milk. There is a small

desert, it was very hot when I walked on it. The sand could sing.

These trips helped me open my eyes. I enjoyed my day.

How to protect the environment has become one of thebiggest problems in the

world .

It’s our duty to protect our environment . No matterwhere we live , we

should do something to keep our neighborhood clean and tidy. We can collect

waste paper or other waste things for recycling. We shouldplant more trees and

we should prevent those factories from pouring waste waterinto rivers, lakes and

fields. Weshouldn’t leave rubbish everywhere and spit in public places . We

mustn’t pickthe flowers or step on the grass in public. If everyone tries his

best toprotect the environment , the world will become much more beautiful and

ourlife will be better and better .

Should belong to me, my weekend is my time to rest over the weekend, the weekend is my time of entertainment, but, my mother told me the assignment of the weekend very desolate, let my weekend was not happy.

Have a weekend, because mom going to my grandmas on Saturday, didnt come back to the evening, I will take mom is not in time, to play, after about one hour, Im tired will go to the teacher assigned homework, after 50 minutes, Ill finish the homework by the teacher, I have a look at the time, is going to eat lunch, but I havent written mother for my homework, I think, was watching TV, look for an hour, I will go for lunch, I ate two bowls of rice, will go to take a nap, wake up all three 29 minutes, I write the mother to my homework quickly, just finished, mother just came back, I show my mother a job quickly, mother looked, said good, I this finally passed.

Sometimes my weekend is happy, sometimes sad, I hope all the students have their own weekend, rather than managed by others.

我的周末应该属于我的，周末是我的休息时间，周末还是我的娱乐时间的，可是，妈妈布置的作业让我的周末变得很荒凉，让我的周末很不快乐。

有一次周末，因为星期六妈妈去外婆家了，要傍晚才回来，我就趁妈妈不在的时间，去玩了，大约过了一二个小时，我累了就去把老师布置的作业写了，过了五十分钟，我就写完老师的作业了，我一看时间，马上就要吃午饭了，可我还没写成妈妈布置给我的作业呢，我想着想着，就看起了电视，看了一个小时，我就去吃午饭了，我吃了二碗饭，就要去睡午觉了，一觉醒来都三点二十九分钟了，我赶快写妈妈布置给我的作业了，刚写完，妈妈刚好回来了，我赶快拿作业给我妈妈看，妈妈看了看，说好的，我这一关总算通过了。

我的周末有时候是快乐的，有时候是悲伤的，我希望各个同学都有自己的周末，而不是由别人管理的。

The Mid-Autumn Day

August 15th in Chinese Lunar Calendar is the Mid-Autumn Day. It is one of the most important traditional festivals in China.

On that day people usually go back home to have family reunion . Each family will have the members get together to have a big dinner. The most popular food is moon cakes. They are round and look like the moon.

The moon is the brightest this night. People eat the delicious food while they are enjoying a beautiful full moon in their yard. At this time, some old people would like to tell many past events and tell the children a story about the rabbit on the moon . The children really believe that there is a rabbit on the moon. They hope to go to the moon and have a look one day.

What a great festival!

中秋节

农历八月十五日是中秋节，在中国它是最重要的传统节日之一。

在那一天，人们通常回家与家人团聚，一家人聚在一起饱餐一顿。最流行的食品是月饼，它们圆圆的就像月亮。

中秋节晚上的月亮特别地圆。人们都在自家的院子里一边赏月一边吃着可口的月饼。这个时候 ，一些老人会讲述许多古老的故事，如月亮上的玉兔，孩子们信以为真，他们真想有一天登上月球看个究竟。

中秋是个美好的节日啊!

Mid-Autumn Day，all the country is celebrating。 The streets are full of people， the loves are holding each other tightily。Everyone has his day。However，I am lonely。No one to hold，no one to kiss，no one to talk!

I was walking around the street without purpose，seeing the lovers kissing，watching the fireworkes alone，walking backe room whist。

Suddenly，i think i must be good to myself。So i decied to bue a present to myself。I know I will be good soon，and will find my Mr。Right。So tonight， a little teddy bear will sleep with me。And i know:i will have another teddy bear as a present that not bought from myself!

中秋节，全国各地都在庆祝。街上到处都是人，爱情紧紧相依。每个人都有他的一天。但是，我很孤独。没有人可以抱，没有人亲吻，没有人来谈论!

我无条件地走在街上，看到恋人们亲吻，独自看着烟火，走回来的房间。

突然间，我觉得我必须对自己好。所以我决定给自己一件礼物。我知道我很快就会好起来的，会找到我的Mr.Right。所以今晚，一只小泰迪熊会和我一起睡觉。我知道：我会买另一只泰迪熊作为礼物而不是我自己买的!

in the spring,everything become green,the grass come out,there are flowers everywhere.

in the summer,its very hot,you can hear birds chirping in the tree and frogs singing in the riverside.

in the autumn,everything become yellow,the fruits are mature,and wheat is ripe,its the harvest time.

in the winter,it snows here.everything is covered with whiteness.

how beautifel my hometown is!but i like winter the best.i can make a snowman and play outdoor.it is so exciting.

My Computer

When I was in grade four in primary school, my father taught me how to use computer. After that, I was very interested in playing computer. I watched movies, played computer games, searched the Internet and listened to the music on computer. Because my father must work in his computer, so he bought another for me. I was very happy that I had my own computer. It was put in the study. I am always very careful to use my computer, because I am worried I would break. I often chat with my net friends. Because of my computer, I make many friends who have many in common. Of course, I use my computer in study. There are resources on the Internet. I can learn more after class. It does great help to me.
