每当听到这首歌，我的心都被一种精神深深地萦绕着。是一种什么精神在鼓舞着我呢？是爱！当我呱呱落地起，有多少人在默默地关怀着我呢？父母生养了我；老师们孜孜不倦地教导我；同学们在我遇到困难时鼓励我、帮助我……虽然我不能完全的报答他们，但我没有忘记他们，一颗感恩之情永远在我心中。

不仅仅如此，人的一生中，人的一生中，以上所述只是从小的方面而言，若从大的方面来说，我们作为社会的一个成员，生活在社会大环境之中，国家给我们提供了安全稳定的生存环境，政府给我们提供了工作和发展机会，许多人给我们提供了社会服务；再往更大的方面来说，大自然给我们阳光、空气、雨露、饮水、食物，大地让我们立足；即使是遭遇一些挫折与磨难，也使我们得到了锻炼，懂得了道理，丰富了人生的意义。就是说，他们都是有恩于我们每个人的。

每年11月的第四个星期四是美国传统的感恩节。在美国人的心目中，感恩节的重要性仅次于圣诞节。这是一个感恩的日子，人们按习俗前往教堂做感恩祈祷;这是一个团圆的日子，身处天南地北的人们聚到一起分享火鸡;这也是一个欢庆的日子，举国上下举办各式各样的狂欢活动。感恩节并非仅仅属于美国人。因为感恩是一种歌唱生活的方式，是一种积极处世的哲学。

美国人怎么过感恩节

每逢感恩节这一天，美国举国上下热闹非常。城乡市镇到处举行化装游行、戏剧表演和体育比赛等，学校和商店也都按规定放假体息。孩子们还模仿当年印第安人的模样穿上离奇古怪的服装，画上脸谱或戴上面具到街上唱歌、吹喇叭。当天教堂里的人也格外多，按习俗人们在这里都要做感恩祈祷。

总统赦免火鸡： 美国总统在感恩节前赦免火鸡的传统据说始自杜鲁门时代。但杜鲁门图书馆表示未找到有关文件记录，事实上“杜鲁门说过，别人送来的火鸡最后作为菜肴摆在了他家餐桌上”。有人说，这种说法可能来自于全美火鸡协会主席从1947年开始在每年感恩节都向白宫送火鸡的传统。也有人说，100多年前林肯总统就曾赦免了他儿子的一只宠物火鸡。但这无史实可考。

20世纪60年代在位的肯尼迪总统从未正式发布赦免火鸡声明，只在1963年11月19日，也就是22日他被暗杀前3天，要求手下不要宰杀别人送的一只火鸡。他当时说：“留着它吧。”

多数历史学家认为，美国总统正式赦免火鸡始于老布什时代。

商品抢购

众所周知，感恩节购物已经成为了美国人的习俗。从感恩节到圣诞节这一个月，是各个商家传统的打折季。每年这个时候，大多数商场都会贴出“30-70 off”不等的标语和促销活动来吸引顾客。
